copperspock

Both games are regularly on sale (and are due to be again very soon going by the pattern), I wouldn't regard a physical copy as being worth this much. https://psprices.com/region-gb/game/17971/wolfenstein-the-new-order https://psprices.com/region-gb/game/97986/wolfenstein-the-old-blood

poorboys

Both good games and well worth a playthrough.

Hussein_Essam

Got both from PSN by almost £8

SFJnet

Great games. I still have flashbacks to the London Monitor!

LankySi

Might be worth pointing out in the post and/or title that its this price for both PS4 and Xbox One. I was under the impression, from the image, that this price was only for PS4 :) Heat added anyway, great price

Just playing the first game, I already have the New Order in wait, I think this game can wait a little longer lol

Got this for £6.99 from MusicMagpie the other day with their crazy sale prices (excited)

Tamara_Stockwell

Heat if I hadn't nabbed one at £7.40 in the sales by them the other day I'd snag at this price!

TGPMatt

Sweet Jesus, this is an amazing price. What a game.

To true, I ordered a Xbox x yesterday, so I really shouldn't be looking at games till next payday, but am tempted by this one,... and the previous one,....... and the one before ... Lol.. good thing the Mrs has no idea of console or game prices!

Just received an email from Amazon now telling me that I've been refunded by them and the money will appear in my account in 5-7 days. Must be a bit of a ballache for Amazon actually, having to process all of this, even if most of it is automated to a degree, correct info has to be checked over.

danwink

I’ve had the same generic email several times on 4/5 orders saying it’s been “lost in transit”. Why can’t they just admit that they messed up and say they can’t fulfil the order?!

loopylloyd

Possibly a tactic to try and save feedback and blame others?

Mojomaster1979

Lol

joerob1972

Still no sign of any games being delivered. Waiting for about 10 different titles overdue from the 21st and 23rd April. Surely they can't blame Royal Mail for losing all these games, definitely lying about sending them and taking our money.

Dammit missed it. Thats twice in 2 weeks ive missed this going cheap 😏

EmperorRosko

I would say defo do New Order, then Colossus, and if you love them and can't get enough, do Old Blood as it's still an enjoyable Wolfenstein game.

koskesh

Hey thanks for the info, just bought New Order digitally from PSN for £5.79.will try to blast through it while waiting for New Colossus to arrive..Old Blood was also on sale for £5.50sih but I think I'll be good,if it's a spin off..

EmperorRosko

I can't remember where in the timeline, but I know that many of the characters good and bad appear in Colossus, that were in TNO, so it'd be good to atleast play that first. Both preferably, but defo gotta play TNO, it's awesome anyway.

how2

Missed this one but it will go down to £9.99 but I might wait until it goes down to about £8 new when I buy it

Did they sneakily change the T&C? It now states £30 minimum spend for the game store voucher. Still not bad but a bit cheesy.

Junkenste1n

Code works on preorders. Got Battletech for £21.

reddragon105

Has anyone received their Game Store voucher yet? If so, how long did it take? I know it says 'within 24 hours' but I'm coming up to that and nothing yet...

K13OllieD

if anyone has a £10 voucher that will be going un-used, PM me it and i will make good use of it! (cheeky)

ZeroBlitz

That's really weird. I don't have access to their T&Cs so I can't check but since they've just launched the website it might be a mistake. Otherwise that's a really awkward voucher, for no reason.

Must admit that the Xbox one X is a premium console but for many the S will more than do the job, think I might sell on my Scorpio as I’m one of those ! Good deal this one, heat from me

dave859

Yeah i also have the pc version pity they didn't add a 1080p60 option in the Xbox patch. It still looks nice at 4k30 but it would be worth the graphical downgrade to get the framerate up.

phoenix029

Forza Horizon 3 @ 60fps is so much better and smoother than @ 30fps. I played it on pc when it first came out like this and found it was awful dropping back down on Xbox.

dave859

Suppose it does depend on your eyesight. We did a side by side test with the same TVs on a few of the games, some are better than others but the work they have done on the Witcher 3 is pretty obvious, running the s model next to it and the improvements stand out straight away. All in all you couldn't build a pc to be anywhere near that level for the same price.

violentj

i have to disagree, ive a top end samsung 4k tv,and got all the patched games, and i had to google what had been improved as they looked no different to me,i dont online so maybe 60fps is lost on me

I normally just wait as well, so many good games out there it's hardly worth buying as soon as it's released, as it invariably drops in price quickly. I picked up Bioshock collection at Tesco for £8.75 a couple of months back, excellent value.

wowardraaken

Also happy to wait, my biting point tends to be about £20 but I’ve got lots in my Amazon wish list that are lower

paco090

I agree with Northerner473 about patient gaming. I tend to wait for collectors editions to hit the price of the standard price at launch. I'll happily pay 40 quid 6-12 months after release knowing I've got all the bonus stuff for the same price people pay for the normal game. By then it's also been played by others and there are more reviews about. Plus (most) collectors editions hold their value better than standard editions.

phillyboy

I'm even longer behind, only now playing The last of us on PS4 for the first time lol. You are not alone op :)

Northerner473

Patient gaming is the way forward. I don't wait til things are a fiver but i like to be a year or so behind in terms of releases. Same great games, fraction of the costs. I'll still buy the odd game when new but mostly wait for <50% discount on release price.

Anyone aware of any other bundle deals on the X like this one? I can't get this to work at all so long after the original posting. Gutted I missed out on this one!!

MDL199

Actually the backwards compatibility on Xbox is limited. They have done well with that though. PS3 backwards compatibility on PS4 is too much of a technical nightmare because of the PS3's unique architecture. Strange that No No Kuni isn't on PSnow. I'd buy a PS3 second hand and play it if I was you as they are cheap as chips and it's a great game. I still have my PS3 thankfully.

cod

Nope. I just bought everything except Halo 5 Guardians and Fallout 4, for total of £436. Given that you can pick up both Fallout 4 and Halo 5 for under a tenner each that still works out a pretty sweet deal. Maybe about £7 down on the original deal, but still worth it imo.

khirsah

So why cant I play games like Ni No Kuni on my PS4? Its not because it doesn't work because its on US PSNow. I literally have to buy a PS3 to play it which is ridiculous of Sony. Believe you can play all Xbox 360 on Xbox one X? And many of them get enhanced graphics too? Sony should have done this to be honest but they wanted more people to pay for digital marketplace items and PS Now instead.

twitterrat

Bought a Xbox One X that needs internet to download the enhancements but didn't connect it to the internet? Far more likely that he's a trolling fan boy.

johnboylan12

No, it was for everyone. Not that it matters what the price was a couple of months ago, and even if it does, if someone is worried about £2, I'm not sure they should have a console n the first place; food would be a bigger concern for me.

SS41

When they were £3.99 did you need to subscribe to Playstation plus to get that price? Would this therefore be the cheapest for non plus subscribers?

Pasanda

4.99 for the PC on optical media from Game.

metallica182

Yeah they've been cheaper but they're still worth £5 lol I paid £40 and didn't regret it.

deeky

The Wolfenstein games are worth a fiver of anyone's money.

red23

tbh it makes you wish the nazis blow that boat full of losers to the bottom of the sea "show me your wings caroline. Anya....i see you girl, floating in bits to the bottom of the sea"

Bodycell

I agree, thought the game was cheesy and crap. Couldn't wait for it to end. The characters and submarine hub nearly drove me insane!

HSG1

Thank you Mr Wilson ..:) (y) Means a lot :)

red23

Just not getting the hype about this game. I find all the characters boring as hell and feel no connection to them. There are a huge amount of cheesy and just plain cringe worthy cut scenes in it. FIrst half of the game id title "my obsession with caroline"

Cheapest I think it's been? Decent price to extend the fun.
TheVoice

They're good enough for a playthrough if you enjoyed the main game (which I did, very much), just don't expect anything more than what you've already seen/done. :) For £10 it's only £3ish each which is hard to argue with.

SVRich

Same price for the PS4 version on PSN.

aaronmcc

That's a shame. That Lady Death one or whatever looked cool. Might take a punt on them for a tenner anyhow. Loved the game and want to supposrt Machine Games as the price dropped like a stone. Bethesda released it at a daft time.

TheVoice

Yeah, I believe the final one was released last night. I've played the first two, they're a bit disappointing. More of the same gameplay, but nothing new in terms of weapons, enemies, environments etc. The cutscene are all delivered as static comic storyboards so you don't even get any real character development.

aaronmcc

I picked up Skyrim SE over a year ago on eBay for about thirteen quid.

nice-new

Deal...not.

Noisetank

I think it is just for some bonus content if you had the old season pass or an old disk copy. Just the "Patient Zero" campaignand some suits/weapons. It won't let me buy the £7.99 one but it will let me get the £13.99 one I mentioned. The publisher changed last year when Square Enix handed the publishing right for Hitman back to the Dev, IO Interactive last year. So when that happened they pulled all the old digital versions of this game and re-released it - so it is a bit confusing as to whats what!

spud131

Cheers for that. Any idea what the £7.99 GOTY upgrade is for then?

Noisetank

I think it is the HITMAN™ - Game of the Year Edition Upgrade (Intro Pack) for £13.99 - I'm eyeballing it now. Got the Free Holiday season content over xmas so I think this upgrades that to the rest of the GotY content. I'm checking myself to be sure... Think it is cheapest it has ever been for an upgrade to GotY for this game - unless you can find a copy in Asda somewhere...
