primark muslins are much better than the mothercare ones, the mothercare ones don't wash very well and are rough.

wishihadadonkey

Thanks for sharing @Madgirl23 - Get Deal link should now go direct to the preview :) heat added

Nat_urally

Thank you! Ah we already have too many clothes, people are going nuts already! I’m begging them to stop (lol) might stock up on a few Muslins though, they seems pretty handy! And maybe an emergency pack of vests! There’s always 24h tesco I suppose, I’ll never be truly stuck!

amzzzzyyyy

It should be instore tommrow or today

realised

Muslin cloths and sleep suits/ vests. My little one had reflux and we had to change her several times a day. I would also recommend you don’t buy too much as people end up gifting you things. If you need to buy things after the birth it’s better than buying before and never using! Edit: vests will probably be cheaper in Asda on the 20% off deal they are doing at the moment posted on hukd

andreah903

It’s Group 0/1 - Group 0 is rear facing to 10kg. Infant carriers are Group 0+, rear facing to 13kg. Group 1 is forward facing from 9kg I have the same seat as the Madrid (it’s got a Fisher Price cover on it) but I’m not able to add a photo of the relevant sticker that would confirm 10kg just now. I’ll try and remember tomorrow. I bought the seat second hand for research/demo purposes only, it’s a crap seat that doesn’t fit well in any car and is far too upright for a newborn (also has no support for a newborn) so I would never dream of actually using it!

jdRiggs

Both amazon and Tesco websites state 9kg. Either both of those have the same typo or the mothercare site does. Perhaps someone who bought the seat can clarify.

Mojo_Jojo4JK

It clearly states in the above description rear facing upto 10kg and front facing from 9kg so where did you get your information?

jdRiggs

Anyone thinking of the madrid one from birth it is worth noting that it only rear faces to 9kg not 13kg (as most infant carriers do) which in a baby can be a few months of an age difference.

Yes. Besides like another poster said, it's smaller too

TTSS

Thnx. the Snuzpod one has gentle swing action and is 3 in 1. But more costly than this.

makie1

The newer models (the dream) can rock but it doesn't rock when it' on the incline mode. Using this for my 18 week old and it' good. It' also easier to put the side up and down There was an offer on bounty a while ago.

5 months and we just moved baby into her own room - no issues... no sex either.

afly

iz12345678910 h, 23 m ago My little one is 11 months and sleeps in the same room, annoying because we can't make any noise meaning no sex for me from other half --- Just counter the comments, we got a next2me last year and moved daughter (and it) into the nursery @ 6 months. She couldn't of given a monkeys. Perhaps it's a case of not leaving it too long to migrate? Still no sex though ;(

iz123456789

Lesson learnt I guess

The_IMF

Got one of these types for my first kid. Big mistake. Baby got used to sleeping next to her mother and wouldn't sleep any other way. It took us years of trying different things including paying a sleep therapist to finally resolve it. Our 2nd and 3rd did not use ours and transition from cot in our room to cot in their room was easy.

Think this a lot nicer looking and sturdier than the Chicco next to me - bought recently for baby #2

I have an 11 week old and it’s been great for us, we lifted the top off and took it downstairs in the first month too so didn’t buy a Moses basket. I would definitely recommend

Limited to tea times only?

Simonlovell100

Agreed these sloped back high chairs are a joke. Imagine trying to eat on a sun lounger and that’s basically what you’re asking your kid to do. We had one of these. Binned it and got the ikea one. Bolt upright and the kids loved it and immediately ate better. Good price but frankly a poorly designed product.

lms613

Voted hot for great price, and will be perfectly good for purpose however I've just had baby number three and this time bought a baby bjorn highchair, if price isn't an issue this is so much better as no straps to get messy and so easy to clean. I've also head very good things about the ikea chair for value if price is an issue I had high chairs like this for the first two, they were fine but I was glad to dump them when the time came as they were pretty gross by then...for £20 though it is a good deal

I would never recommend Mothercare cot beds, the side rail on ours split and we had to take them to court to get a refund. Their guarantee/warranty is worthless. We won the case and a County Court Judgement was issued against them. I've been requesting proof that our cot confirms to the required standards (BS EN 716-2:2008 / EN716:2008) for several months however they have yet to provide any evidence that the cot beds they are selling have been tested, let alone meet the standards. Trading Standards are now investigating and are considering a criminal case against them.
