Angelcare AC1100 Digital Video, Movement and Sound Baby Monitor - £89.96 @ Amazon

Fantastic price for the full set of a video, sound and movement monitor. Amazon's best ever price according to Camelcamelcamel. (y) (£145 on Jan 21st 2018)
These are fantastic my niece was born with a CHD and this helped my sister manage to sleep as Evie does have breathing difficulties & to make it harder 1 of my other sisters had a baby die from sids. You can never put a price on peace of mind
Definitely, worth every penny we paid. Bargain at this price.
Had these with our children, the wife was very paranoid so served a purpose, they are super sensitive though, my youngest used to push himself into a corner and the pad would end up going off.

The same with all movement monitors surely? The delay has saved me a few times when I've forgotten and then remembered before waking the baby!

No need to double bag, just use the nappy tabs to wrap itself into a ball. Saves on space and keeps things clean. You only go out to the bin every few days at most. No more nappies in bags laying around from the 4am change. Everything in one place and it really reduces the smell.

Have to agree. No double bagging needed and no smells. I have a three story house and this product helps us and means the nappies take up even less space in the bin. Each to their own I guess but I’m glad we have one of these.

Can't recommend these enough, have a different model with a separate video monitor personally, it all bundled into one would have been perfect. Cheapest I've seen it go.
I got an open box from Amazon for £75 with the 20 percent off a few days back. Haven't got round to checking it all works.
Not a bad price but this is a *very* old model that’s been superseded at least twice.

This is a great price. I haven't seen it less than £150 and been keeping my eyes out for about 3 months! Thank you!!

These are amazing! Turns bathtime into an activity for them rather than a chore, my twins used to love kicking and splashing in these!
These are also reduced to £15.99 at mamasandpapas, as picked one up the other week
mamasandpapas.com/en-…00/
We bought one of these for our now 4 week old - used it a few times and its great. Much easier to use than tummy tubs etc like we had with our first child, as you can put them in it and keep both hands free to wash them and grab towels.
Highly recommended!

Discrimination against boys

I'm going to assume this isn't a crap attempt at humor as there's nothing to suggest that's the case.

I didn't realise that boys, especially sub-12 month old, are incapable of using pink items.
brought this, didn't like it, didn't seem to fit safely in the bottom of the bath, too big and crap. brought a normal plastic bath instead

Unfortunately not
We managed to get the last one on the shelf at the Leyland Tesco Extra today. It was marked on the shelf as £20 but it looked like a normal price sticker so probably wasn't getting a lot of attention and that's why there was one left I'm guessing.

How does the water stay in?

you pop it in the bath and fill it up to the maximum line on the baby bath. the water comes up through the little holes. we have one for our baby and I'm so pleased we got one. the baby is supported and nice and secure. makes it so much easier to bath her as you have both hands free.

I have 4 of these brand new available at 54 pound on gumtree, based in Romford Essex
seems to have increased to £69.99 already..
Very good monitor, been using ours for 2 and a half years now with no issues at all.
Great piece of kit. As parents of a baby with reflux (so much happier sleeping on her front) this gives great peace of mind. Been using it for 4 months and only had 1 false alarm when she began to move around the cot (moving the sensor to the middle has now fixed this and even though she takes boundary tours of the cot it hasn't alarmed since). It worked perfectly in the moses basket through 1.5" foam and the cot with a 4" sprung mattress. Apparently it won't work with memory foam mattresses though. Heat!

Bought mine on Amazon for £3.12 beginning of Feb pain in the ass to put together but it's very useful
I'd recommend these though they're a pain to put back together if the spring bit comes off (until you get the hang of it). cassettes do last a while
we used to use carrierbags in if we ran out of cassettes, when supermarket carriers were free, glad not needed now (tight). You cannot imagine the smell blast though as u tie the top of a week's worth of nappies. Rancid doesn't do it justice. just keep ur mouth closed. you soon learn to open, remove, tie handles and leave the room I. one deep breath :-D
lemooo

Do we need to buy each refill cassets when that's full.?

we just used pedal bin liners in ours... wrap the top around an old cartridge. works exactly the same but costs pennies!
How does this compare to the tommee tippee one? It's cheaper but is it more expensive long term/as good?

Thanks OP. Reserved one and picked it up today. Seem to have lots of stock in.

^^ The recall was a little while ago. Basically the cords were within reach of the baby and they dragged the monitor into the crib and strangled themselves. Horrific thing to happen, but that could be true of any wired device within arms reach. Keeps the wires away from them... and there is also a cord cover kit that can be requested from Angelcare.
Guys, went to argos today and tried to buy this. They told me that they weren't allowed to sell it to me as there has been a recall. Be careful !
