All Bissell Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2018
We’ve a Kärcher SC5 which we bought from Amazon.de for a lot less than the U.K. site. Having used it now for a while I’d still say they’re expensive for what they do but they do work. The importance of a high pressure high watt one is important because cheaper steam mops tend to find it hard to keep up with the demand for steam. Our SC5 keeps a good head of steam up no matter what. On the negative side it’s cumbersome. We’ve ordered this Bissell because the Karcher tends to put down too much water on wooden/laminate flooring. The Karcher is great for bathrooms, toilets and kitchens but to wet for anywhere else we find. You’ve also ideally got to vacuum the floor first otherwise the steam mop just pushes the grit and dirt around a bit. The benefit of this Bissell seams to be it does a bit of both simultaneously.
How do these compare to steam mops? On that subject, is there even a half decent steam mop out there? I'm considering the Karcher cleaner that was just posted as a Prime Day deal but I have no experience in terms of its functionality in that respect
Bought it in the morning. I was about to get it from AO EBay with 20% off but this prime offer tops that price.
Only paid just over 50 about 18 months ago
Ours has been very useful and I wouldn’t be without it (2 kids, 1 dog) but it’s not wonderful. You have to work on your technique and it’s not easy work. Don’t think there’s a better option for the size/price although we paid £50 which seems about right.
Seems to have great reviews and looks pretty compact. Thanks @benslatz
This model from bissel comes out with extremely good reviews on Which magazine and a awrded BEST BUY
we have this one http://www.vax.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/4671 and very impressed with the way it cleans, not only that it comes apart brilliantly so you can clean all the parts like new after you've finished. Previous washers we've had leave dirt and grime in nooks and crannies, but not this one... also the automix means you don't waste expensive cleaning solution, only using what you need. Leaves the carpet almost touch dry afterwards too, best cleaner we've had and we don't rate vax on their vacuum.
Already posted https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/bissell-cleanview-lift-off-carpet-cleaner-white-19999-amazon-2822313#comment-32373191 Better to buy direct from bissell and get 5 year guarantee.
They are finally matching the Bissell direct site Tempted yesterday, but no codes at moment for Bissell direct So hanging fire atm
Seems the 5 year warranty is standard on these. I have used this on a couple or carpets on my house and also on a light grey interior on a car and have to say it is a fantastic machine.
I'm surprised this doesn't come with a turbo tool, I've been meaning to buy one for my pro heat:- https://www.4bissell.co.uk/deep-cleaners/32mm-turbo-brush-tool/product.pl?pid=1278018&path=606373&refine=tools
If you own your own, rather than rent, you can clean up a spill immediately, while it is still wet, which can avoid leaving a permanent stain in your carpet.
Rug doctors at £25 a punt would be an alternative. One or 2 times a year do the whole house.
Same price at https://www.bisselldirect.co.uk/ with free delivery and 5 years warranty
I got this a few weeks back at this price It's a great apart from the pipe is a bit flimsy and feels like it might snapped with pressure, suction is great though
Found 1 eventually , but in Azerbaijan..😁✈
LOL where's the stock...? Typical Argos move!
Very good price, unfortunately just missed on a cheaper price. Was £209 a few days ago
Would you have the correct eBay link?
Thanks Mojdin1, I didn't think to check there

Can't find it Expire
Search for it on Tesco direct maybe???
They no longer sell this product
The link doesn't take you to the product and after searching for it, it says they are no longer selling it
May be a stock issue. Choose one of the other shampoos they offer. 50% off for 3 and EXTRA20 code works on most of them too.
Expired? Won't let me add 3 to basket to start with.
Excellent deal, was just about to buy one bottle of non pet stuff for £15 but 3 pet bottles for £24 which will last us ages and in the long run save us cash even better - thanks for sharing!
The discount is over exaggerated, but nonetheless this is a decent price for decent shampoo. I bought some over 2 years ago and have to confess to having some left :). Back then it was ~£22 Your text here. Heat added, this stuff is excellent.
Nice find OP.
sounds like a good deal here
As a one-off clean, almost certainly it is. The beauty of buying though is you've then got the device for as long as it lasts and can use it as often as you want. People who buy a Bissell/Vax probably wash their carpets every year or two (more if you have dogs or messy kids), plus there's the occasions where a wine or coffee get knocked over and you can whip this out.... Depends on what you want/need really.
Is it not cheaper to rent a doc rug? Sorry, I have never cleaned a carpet with one of these but I am moving house soon and might need one of these to rent or buy. Appreciate any comment.
aye, i like to do it on the stairs... and in the car! https://m.bisselldirect.co.uk/bissell-spotclean-pro-1558e
Ignore me, I just realised its a handheld one. Thanks.
expired now 129.99
Thanks - good to know for future (i am keeping a keen eye on price drops for the dyson v8 with longer battery)
BTW you do not need to install a docking station for the V6. You can just use a cable and plug it in to the dyson.
Back up to £149.48 now (as of 18th April)
I remember that Boiler thread :D As for Bissell, my 1st was great..my 2nd has been horrendous & there will not be a 3rd. But heat for the deal & the effort Vishy ;)
Thanks for this. Just a shame you can't mix and match. Can't moan though, I've ordered enough authentic detergent to last the lifetime of both my machines. 3 x Wash & Protect Pet, 3 x Deep Clean, 3 x Spot Formula, 3 x Spot OxyBoost. All for £85 delivered! Amazon, where I would have gone would have cost £150. I wouldn't have bought them all at the same time however, so will have to look at it in the long run. I wouldn't touch the supermarket / DIY store own label. Why pay out for a decent carpet cleaner, to run non approved detergents with it? Although I'm also one of those guys who doesn't touch any supermarket petrol, but that's another story. :D @ luvsadeal - OP mentions VAX sale, so I hardly think they work for Bissell.
No I do not work for Bissell since you asked, I don't get a dime from them.
What do you mean by "genuine"? What's not genuine about the screwfic product ans why would it in anyway affect the operation of your cleaner? I have the bissel stuff - got a bottle of it yellow labelled at Tesco for £3 - it's not more effective than any other cleaner I've used. If i have particulalry heavy soiling to remove i put some liquid detergent meant for the washing machine in my cleaner - and it has done it no harm over many years. After all, all the carpet cleaner does is squirt the stuff out, scrub it into the carpet and suck it back up.
this is your first deal - do you work for these expensive Bissell people?
For the sake of preserving my Bissell Guarantee, I will stick with genuine products. What I posted is a bargain for a genuine product! How often do you hear that?
Beware handle comes in 4 sections + end cap, the joints shake/comes loose with a minute or two of use and start to wobble back and forward. Not sure a deal, has been this price for a while.
