All Bissell Discounts, Offers and Sale - May 2020
Yeah, got an email today saying will be here Thursday. Thanks.
I got mine dispatched today for delivery tomorrow.
Anyone been given a date for delivery yet?
I have the StainPro 4. Used to clean a rental flat and did a great job. Used Vax Liquid, Bissell liquid and ProKleen from Amazon. .https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pro-Kleen-Shampoo-Upholstery-Cleaning-Solution/dp/B07Q1CDY3D/ref=olp_product_details/261-9707807-6485929?ie=UTF8&me=&th=1 All of them worked the same but the Prokleen was much, much cheaper.....£16 odd for five ltrs which is roughly wht 1.5 ltrs of the Bissell/Vax stuff costs.
This or rug doctor deep clean carpet cleaner? Do both use heat while cleaning carpets?
Thanks for this - snapped it up this morning. Has been £10 cheaper at other retailers but happy to pay the premium for the Lakeland guarantee.
Can we try this on our PM and his cabinet?
Sorry, we can’t take any more orders right now – please check back tomorrow.
That looks like R2D2 (lol)
Between this and numatic George what would you choose for a little car detailing hobby? Thanks
Sold out now unfortunately.
just watched this, good lockdown material, thanks
This guy on YouTube (The Detail Geek) raves about this machine on every video. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAQHQEO4QpI5dXtr3vLoFCg
Cheapest I've seen it! So so tempted to grab one for my valeting to get in them tight spots, already got my George wet vac but the nozzle is rather big
We have one, they're brilliant. Paid 130 on ebay new around 6 month ago.
Thought this was a Star Wars Mandalorian replica helmet. Heat for that alone.
Brilliant little wet vac, never seem them below £150 going to order when I can, got a George wet vac at the moment but seen these in action and ideal for what I need it for with tight spaces in cars
Can’t wait till i get mine its in the post! I have got 2 spewy dogs and boggin stairs (cos of the dogs!)
Really good little machine. Highly recommend Bissell products!!!
Received the email just (y)
Just got email confirming delivery tomorrow. Also ordered on 18th.
I gave them a call today and basically it will be dispatched in next few days. They experiencing high volume of orders now and shortage of staff because of the situation. I placed my order on the 18th this month and they processing it. So be patient guys.
Zero word on mine other than initial order confirmation email. Doesn't bode well.
Hi All, did anyone receive their carpet cleaner? Think mines on hold now
George would probably be better for car seats. You could probably even get away with using a wet n dry vac if you already own one, with a carpet washer nozzle (needs a narrow slot) duct-taped on the end of the hose and a spray bottle with carpet shampoo and warm water. It is not ideal, but I've used a Bissell proheat, which is a similar machine, but with an electric water heater block, to clean the interior of a car before flogging it via ebay. Did a pretty good job of getting wood dust out of the carpets and some makeup marks left by the original owner off the back seat. The suction is not fantastic though and doesn't get it dry enough. I put plastic down on the front seats and we went for a drive with the heaters and blower full on to help dry it out and hung the boot carpet over the gates. I also only have the manual brush that came with it for the hose, so it was a lot of scrubbing, if I was to do it regular I'd buy a turbo brush for the carpets (about £25). This may not be the correct version :- https://www.bisselldirect.co.uk/products/spot-cleaning-power-turbo-brush.html Also had to sit the machine on a sheet of plywood to protect the brush from the concrete and grass, as it keeps spinning when using the hose.
Are these any good for car seats? I was thinking about getting a Numatic George to allow for both carpet and car seat cleaning
These are pretty good. Similar performances I think. But more mobile and a massive head for coverage. Good piece of kit to have at home if you like to wash the carpet very few months. There are some YouTube videos comparing 6 different brands this one and the rugdoc are in the comparison.
How do these compare to the ones you hire from supermarkets?

ProHeat 2x, it looks to supersedes this version (by 2x brushes). Proheat 2x is hovering around £200-230 and pet version £250. Tests show brushes makes the big difference in clean performance, hence bissell double downed on the newest designs. So imo £169 is a fair price.. I'd wait for 2x personally to be on sale.
Don't know not used that particular vax, last vax I used the water leaked into the on off switch and motor, lots of popping electric tripped off and it was dead, took back to where it was bought from only to find out that model was recalled for that problem
How do these compare to Vax carpet cleaners. I’ve got a Vax Rapide Ultra 2 and although it picks up loads of dirt, I still feel like the carpets would be cleaner with a more industrial unit. Wondering if this would be an upgrade or not?
Looks like it's gone back up
That's what it says but when go to checkout it 4.45 delivery thanks anyway nahla got it on someone else's prime
Does this come with the cleaning fluid?
Would this work on long shaggy rugs?
This was circa £120 at argos not long ago? I considered this or the big upright one at £250 (both on sale).
I have there pet carpet washer and it’s fantastic. Not much bigger than a standard vacuum.
Sadly Bisell products are well overpriced (and bulky being American design) and people tend to buy them use it couple of times then ends up in corner cupboard and eventually sold for fraction of what they paid for it on Gumtree/ market place. So if you want to try thier products 1st buy one on your local Gumtree type sale. This is from expariance
everywhere but think they have gone back up now
Where was selling it for £179.99 please?
Could be a European plug as well.
Twas £179.99 a while ago
see my comment above
Camel camel camel https://camelcamelcamel.com/
If you use the 3 camels you can set up a price alert. Should dip again before spring arrives I would think
Any clue when this will come up again?
I bought this with amazon credit card promotion of (£30) so around £128 - 6 years guarantee -am happy with this - hopefully will be worthwhile
These are fantastic. I've had one for a couple of years and it handles uneven slate floors which were a nightmare to keep clean before. Heat.
I've been looking at this and the Karcher equivalent, reviews of this product however look more promising.
Sure enough..I'd take a gamble on this if I was in the market for one of these... https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B01HZHYSL2/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all(Like New price)
keep an eye out for the like new open box as there is 20% off it at the minute too, just got this delivered yesterday for 139 - brand new, box just had warehouse sticker on it and a dent in a corner :)
Just bought it for 179.99 on Sunday night (fierce)
A white hole
Are they allowed to show the lady of the house on her knees doing that?
Think what you were looking for is a leash.
I don’t think it’s just the unit smells bad. Thinking about the amount of “little messes” you’re dealing with (poo)
I use this to clean little pet messes (pee) and whilst it worked well initially I have found that the hose head area leaks water and after a while the unit smells badly when in use - despite regularly emptying the waste container and using high quality carpet shampoos.
Already posted! Didn’t spot first time round
Discount code not working
Agreed. Had two that blocked up but can be cleaned out. Work's really well when running properly 55% discount off full price when using stated code
These machines have a water heater in the handle area, and if it is left with soapy water in it, the soap will congeal and block the heater tubes. Always flush it out with clean water after use. There are loads of videos on Youtube of how to repair this, so if you want to get one cheap and can use a screwdriver then it's a fairly easy fix.
Battlestar Galactica comes to mind! Lol
A lot more expensive things just about last the 12 months warranty (y)
Had a similar one, the clear hose which sucks up the dirty water failed after about 3 years and spares are not easy to source.
I was watching this video on da YouTube yesterday and this machine was used to clean the carpet and the mats in his car. Go to 9:35 in the video to see it in action https://youtu.be/ULi-V_qQe0I
I bought a similar one from Amazon and the suction hose failed, fortunately Amazon refunded me another retailler might not have.
You can get a hose for this 1 so all good !
Worth checking parts...I had an older bissell spot clean...the hose split, and they said the hose isn't replaceable so its rendered useless. Unbelievable really. Voted hot for price mind
Code no longer works
good price, was on offer for £200 from Bissell a month ago, this is the best price now
