Thanks OP arrived today and I'm chuffed with it. Great watch!

I was dead set on buying this until I went into the store to see it. It's a beautiful watch but the strap does feel cheap. I wear a couple of good rings which didn't quite mix as well as I thought they would. Oh well. Heat added as it's a great price for a nice watch. My tip would be to pop into a store to have a look before you buy.

I own two Citizen watches and i really rate them. Good deal.

Nope. H Samuel have not honoured. Dammit.

This is probably citizens most advanced navihawk model, with the atomic time keeping included but... Its too blooming big at 45mm wide. The buttons just dig into your wrist whenever you move your hand backwards. Using the features usually requires twisting the crown to pick between time/date or chronograph or whatever. I would have expected this to just work when i need to time something without having to select a mode first.

I only hope my purchase is honoured...

Your link has now been withdrawn and I can no longer find reference to this watch on H Samuel website....

Star Citizen (PC) - Free Time-Limited Demo until 8th May
Found 5th MayFound 5th May
This trial has already started a few days ago, but you can try this glorified tech demo until the 8th. I have bought the starter pack a few weeks ago - it is full of bugs but this… Read more

That's as far as I got. Though I suppose in my case it did run..... like ass.

*Looks at demo specs. Tries to boot it up on current PC. Demo decides that the PC isn't powerful enough even though specs are met. Deletes demo but buys £1000 spaceship because it's a *bargain*. Bank manager laughs his ass off when go to bank for a loan as spent £1000 on a spaceship for a demo can't play and a game that will never release. Realises never getting money back. Cries as depression sinks in." Well that was my experience. What was yours?

Not to mention weekly emails to subscribers detailing what's going on. I'm not a backer, but I registered on the website a few years back to have a look around. I also tried the free week this week but my PC isn't powerful enough for a game like this so it was a stuttering mess. I'll have another go once I get around to updating my PC.

There's no radio silence. CIG has the most open development of any game ever made I reckon. And every month there are monthly reports and youtube programmes such as Around the Verse (now called Inside Star Citizen) which details what they've been working on.

When a company stated that something is due such as the single player part of this game, I point blankly don't trust them, most release dates are bogus and there is no law to make them stick to a release date, I think this game sounds really good, it seems as if the game gets loads of hype then there is radio silence for 6-8 months then loads of hype again.

CITIZEN Eco Drive Titanium Bracelet Men's Watch £89.99 at Argos
Found 1st MayFound 1st May
Decent price for this eco drive.

Mine had no film on the glass and a small hand written sticker on the back, but was mint condition as you would expect .It looks better on if you know what I mean and being titanium it will soon have a few battle scars . the most important thing is the fact that I can actually see the time.

Good point, well made.

I looked in two argos shops and they only had the display model left. I expect yours was similar. Not sure it makes any difference.

Did u purchase using a credit card? If so should speak to them. Otherwise trading standards. I've had argos, Amazon and John lewis all play hard ball with me months after a purchase but within the important 6 months. All 3 changed their tune once I got trading standards involved. Once they realise you know the facts and the law they change.

Picked up my reservation tonight. Can anyone else confirm if their box had any kind of seal? Also no film on watch face which I would expect? I'm sure the last citizen watch I bought had both. Looks good though.

nice find

As the OP, I have to also admit mine has also been returned. For anyone who likes a small watch face, it was actually a very very nice watch - but it's too small for my arms and preference. Shame really, I really liked the colours. However the £50 off code in the purchase email is possibly going towards a full price item. :)

I did exactly the same thing. Although I do have a lot of watches, so I don't need anymore in fairness!

Exactly the same for me... it looks tiny so 45 min drive to store to return... the search continues

I ordered one of these last time they were on sale, but I found it to be a little underwhelming in general feel and quality, and a bit on the small side - despite the description saying it was 42.5mm. I suppose it just wears a bit small for me. I'm not voting cold, but I returned mine.

Over time I’ve collected quite a few Citizen watches, mainly with radio controlled timekeeping. At £329 as a normal retail I’d pretty much expect radio controlled as a given. Without that feature included I’d say it was a bit overpriced. Good offer at £165 though

I don't need another watch, but I am very tempted.... Time to count the pennies In the meantime have some heat

Surely that depends on your wrist size? 😏

I like the Nighthawk, this is better than the one I bought which was the all black one. Looked cool, but it’s impossible to read in any sort of light. Also, mine was twice this price, so great offer. (y)

I love Citizen watches, but they are often way too large. This one is 45mm

Fair point. Thanks!

I enjoyed this when I was 10, but no doubt would find the canned laughter and awful set up joked tiresome now. Few comedies age well.

Does this DVD have an option of subtitles in English? With my hearing I need subtitles so much appreciated if anyone can answer this.

Using the code actually takes price down to £7.19. OP should change post as it's even cheaper.

It only goes so far then stops. I got a direction of Hermes. He agreed to refund me.. 'contact me again if you don't receive a refund within 10 days'. That was several weeks ago. No refund. I have 2 eco drives. 1 is about 3 to 4 years old and the other approx 6 years old. Both are ticking along nicely.

I have at least 10 eco drives ranging in age from 2 years to 15 years and not one of them has ever given me a moments trouble. I would never hesitate to buy another eco drive watch. Noj

Busiest face in the world

I was interested in a couple of eco-drives a while back and was picking between the GMT and the Altichron, when I read that the eco-drives commonly become problematic at around 5-10 years old and are expected to die at between 10 and 20 years old. Any long term owners willing to share their experiences?

They each have a different look so guess it’s down to whichever takes someone’s fancy
