Yeah we have a load of these in our new house, wouldn't say this is really a deal when you compare the quality to the similar priced discounted products on dunelm or argos.
Standard price (got some last year) so is it a deal? :/ However, they are a very cheap way to cover a window or opening. Big, light and thin but they are blackout and can be cut easily to size. They're similar to hospital privacy curtains.
The place I'm renting has a slightly odd drop height (on this topic), I'm about 63" drop (the current curtains I've got). So the 3 drop heights offered by Dunelm don't really suit, I'd need to either have them longer and cover the radiator, or have them taken up.
Depends where you go and obviously there will be regional variations. I had a pair of 90” curtains taken up by a local alterations company for £15 (not just someone off Facebook) Let’s be realistic you can’t expect Dunelm to stock measurements to suit everyone.
No it isn’t. It will cost more than these curtains.
Some Say its better to have radiator on opposite side to the window. But I prefer the radiator under window as that area will not be used for anything else. You could use thermal blinds on the window which would not block the radiator air circulating. Covering the radiator doesn't bother me as radiators used 1/3rd the year so during them times I just tuck the curtain onto the window cill.
I've literally just hung up some of these as I purchased them a few days ago. They are cheap curtains, you get what you pay for. For me they are fine, they do the job. Got the silver ones and they look grey enough. Can confirm they arrived with no holes
no, it's a twitcher saver
