Was going to order these but saw a pic in one review showing they have absolutely no blackout quality to them. At least you can return in store for refund

Argos blackouts are actually really decent and only around £20 (depending on the size you need). I can wholeheartedly reccomend them - the only thing you need to be wary of is the colours seem to fade in the sun - the black ones seems to be the most affected - the others not so much.

Same for me I am returning mine, they are awful quality and let light through.

I am not satisfied with quality of the curtains. They are not fully blackout. Not sure how they perform on thermal insulation. Perhaps u get what u pay.

Yup, you are right...I've just refused the delivery and re-ordered a PAIR. Oops!

Would have made a fairly decent Roman style cape. Shame it’s out of stock.

Thank you for posting! 😊 I’ve had a look at their website and can get the floor length , wide ones, ie the biggest size for less than the smaller sizes so can run up a few cushions as well.

Most options I checked are not in stock.

Thanks for that useful insight Have a nice day

If you read those posts and still asked that question then you're beyond help. I'd leave the curtains - just board up your windows and have done with it.

Yes and... have you tried to help? Or just trying to be smart!

Did you miss the 2 posts above yours that address this very issue?

Still a lot left as of an hour ago, ideal just for the material at that price to maybe make pillowcases and stuff out of :)

Each, 90” wide, 90” long per curtain. A handy guide from Dunelm Mill:

Not at all, but I don’t think anyone buying 90”x90” curtains for £10.99 expects high end uber quality ;) (y) what did your wife do with them ?

Can’t deny they’re cheap, but felt it prudent to inform those who want curtains of a customers experience with them.

is the sizes per curtain or for both?

Well obviously she can afford better privacy screens, some people can’t and that size at that price is affordable for the many. These being ombré will be great for a bedroom for early risers or some good (blackout) blinds, homestarters spending thousands on flooring can easily spend £40 in Argos (see my other curtain post) for privacy, not everyone is established, cash or credit flush (or female nesting), this amount of fabric alone is gtear value for those with some ‘very basic’ knowledge of sewing... I got some very cheap basic cream cheap cotton looking curtains from Argos a few years ago (I posted) and it cost me £6 to buy 2 Dylon black dyes at Home Bargains to make my much more HOME made “expensive” looking ‘designer’ style curtains thermal and blackout and much more sturdy with a quick 40 min job on a sewing machine, all in about £30 for some home made large bay window curtains, (charity shop find of uber posh) fabric, dye & thermal/blackout you would pay hundreds for from a specialist shop. You could simply sew some cheap voiles over the outer of these curtains to have some very expensive looking and unique curtains at ten a penny in comparison to ‘ready to hang’ or ‘made to order’. Outside light behind them shows the pattern with voile luxury, even match with a cheap swag/tie back and bobs your uncle, waste not want not, buy 2 sets and some black dye and for circa £60 for all the above it’s unique to your house like the massive country ‘visiting’ houses instead of off the shelf mass produced ;) Nothing worse than walking in someplace and someone else has your same off-the-shelf curtains. :o Good luck with the wife btw!

Bought a pair they are really poor quality, returned don’t waste your money

Title needs updating. Unlined.

The ombre looks good from a short distance. I got the 168x229 for £9.49 to attempt to keep some heat in at my front and back doors (y) I like them - why not reserve them and decide when you get there?

Do they look nice though? I've been umming and arring about getting them for my dining room. Thinness doesn't matter for me as I have a blind up so they're more for decoration.

Can't moan at that price nice find
