Same, mine came yesterday and its great

I've got one bought it for £9.99 about a year or so ago, sounds fine but mic is useless for hands free, nobody can hear me because I'm guessing there is little or no noise cancelling.

It’s this one: Nulaxy Wireless In-Car Bluetooth... amazon.co.uk/dp/B018E0I01I?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Night and day compared to this one which was completed garbage: FirstE Bluetooth FM Transmitter,... amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BF52BY7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share You would never know by looking at the reviews. The second one sent out a card with £5 cash if you sent evidence that you gave a good review. I didn’t think this is allowed but it explains why so many people have given it positive reviews for what is a substandard product.

Fair comment. Furthermore, under the consumer protection laws, you are entitled to reject the product and return it for a refund in the first 30 days if it's not fit for purpose. If it really was bad, I'd send it back on principle just to make life difficult for people selling shoddy product. If it's OK, then you have a good deal.

I've got one, it's very good. Excellent sound.

This made me lol. I had the 8 track cartridge that converted to the new fangled cassette. Er.. thanks for the reminder, I think.

Yes but think about it.. if you need this and have a car with no AUX input then it's likely your car itself feels quite cheap and plasticy! I am a proud owner of a skoda rapid 63 plate, fantastic car, never lets me down, ultra reliable but very very basic on the inside but I couldn't care less.. this is a gadget for me! On another note.. I have a cheaper model of these and I find when the stereo reception on the frequency kicks in, all sounds good, but most of the time for some reason it's non stereo and it doesn't sound great! Is this just the way it is with these things or would I benefit from a different one - like this for example?

There is a snob in Dagenham that interfers with his bang bang music on 87.5 band over my car transmitter always when I drive around the area . Who are you? :D Doubt it's legal but no one cares)

My cayenne 2006 doesn’t and this may help. It a timeless classic which I intend to keep. You must be dumb btw ;)

Thanks gave it ago for £8, my Samsung s21U doesn't like the USB c to 3.5mm I got in my old car, so saves me wasting money on a new adapter and can test this out (y)

That's really cool and all, but... no RGB. And given everyone knows RGB makes your computer go faster, it's only logical that it also makes your car go faster. And I think we both know the product you linked isn't capable of that. It's just an ordinary Bluetooth FM transmitter thingy with a screen.

So it's a classic HUKD 'hot' item: people who have one say it's rubbish BUT IT'S CHEAP! (confused)

For those after a good FM Transmitter, I have this one in the boot of my 2008 Passat B6: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07TB4LTXD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is the best FMT I have used to date, it the boot as it picks up the alternator coil whine in the front. :) Does come up on offer time to time, I paid £14.94

I need one for my 2006 Toyota Corolla

jamie19916

If you have a hifi or home cinema system that still has fm radio you can also use these as a cheap way to get the sound onto it wirelessly from a phone, though range isn't great. I used one temporarily so I could use a record player at the other end of the room without running a wire to the sound system, and was ok for a quick job.

SorrelDad

used one of these in the summer for an outdoor cinema in the garden. Headphone socket of laptop plugged into the transmitter and everybody used an Android phone with FM radio to tune into the station. Worked really well!

Can anyone recommend something similar to this, with Bluetooth connectivity between phone and gadget-occupying-cig-lighter, which then connects to car audio system aux input with a cable? TIA...

Haylhoo

Mine has aux but I don't want to be messing about with a cable, much prefer this option

thabiz

That's really good to know, they must put out a stronger signal nowadays. I had a belkin one about 9 years ago and it was utterly awful, so crackly. It's so annoying that so many cars even from late 2000's don't have aux or USB or Bluetooth. They should of had aux since forever really.

Haylhoo

Tried this for the first time today, iTunes music via Bluetooth and sound quality was great. Haven't tried for calls yet but I think it just uses your phone mic anyway. Easy to connect to both radio and phone. Very happy, nice and compact too and you can change the colours or turn the lights off completely.

thabiz

Is this the best fm transmitter available reception wise? I'm looking at buying a new (old) car. And it probably won't have aux or Bluetooth or USB. Ive had some rubbish fm transmitters in the past but I hope that newer ones are much improved.
