I genuinely miss old fashioned nut loops, and the various similar cereals that were slightly maltier versions you could get. None of the modern cereals come close.
A bit like Nestle honey cheerios?
Yeah, I used to love Honey Nut Loops as a kid too, honey cereal by itself tastes kinda gross. I don't understand why Kellogg's can't just add an artificial nut flavour like Nestle did with Honey Nut Cheerios in the US to stop crybabies complaining about nut allergies.
Not the same cause they used to have nuts, I loved them as a kid
Just think about that for a second. Their marketing line is - we packed something else so full of sugar that we can market this as slightly better and therefore good for you. You're being taken for a ride.
Not tried the the white chocolate but these are bland as heck. I'll be sticking to the original...
Are these as bland as the "white chocolate" ones?
Maybe one of the reason people are not happy with taste. 30% less sugar. ;)
Really? It's the one branded product that I can't substitute - I've tried most supermarkets (including Asda) own branded cornflakes and there's nothing that is comparable
I've been buying Asda's own brand cornflakes, 450g for 53p, can't tell the difference from Kelloggs (I actually got Kelloggs substituted for Asda in one delivery at no extra charge) and saving a lot of money,
