You'd almost certainly know they weren't Kelloggs, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Kelloggs aren't a patch on what they used to be. The flavour used to be all through the cornflake. Now it's sprayed on and gone in seconds leaving a fairly tasteless substrate - a bit like many brands of crisps. I picked up a packet out of curiosity. They were good enough to buy a second pack, but everybody's tastes are different. Live dangerously and lash out 50p. You can always feed them to the birds if you don't like them. XD I've been experimenting with Aldi's cereals as the local one is less hazardous than my nearest Tesco. Another couple of cereals to try are Aldi's variations on Curiously Cinnamon and Sugar Puffs (not called that anymore, but you know what I mean). As with the cornflakes, they're different, but not necessarily in a bad way. Beginning to understand why so many people with young kids have such big trolley loads in Aldi. If you aren't conditioned to a brand name, you'd be perfectly happy, and financially better off with many of Aldi's own brands.
Probably, but try putting these words into Bing: supermarket watch comparison
Could you pm me the link, or is that against the rules too?
Yup. Just gave the URL along with a brief comment that this new site (which I have nothing whatever to do with) was a useful new alternative and got this. I'm still trying to guess what the blacklisted words were. Cornflakes? Hi Newbold We've deleted your comment from the following thread as it contains blacklisted words for a site suspended for self promotion. "Kellogg's Corn Flakes 720g - £2 - Co-op"
No way! So you stated in this thread what it is and they deleted your post? That's shocking.

The free delivery offer is currently broken.
Just did the same and got this back from them: The reason why you been charge for the delivery is because the total order is only 44.98 GBP. We can only give you free delivery once the total amount of the order is 60.00 GBP and above. I messaged back that I've used it before and it states minimum basket and 4 items from the list and then they changed their mind and said they'll refund me. Strange.
I ordered 4 of the free delivery items anyway and then contacted Amazon via live chat. They said they'd refund the delivery charge once my order arrived
There seems to be a problem with the “4 items and get free delivery” as none of the items listed on the free delivery page qualify for it?? Cant actually find anything on amazon pantry that does qualify :o
These bars are £1.24 in my tesco( but are free on checkout smart) you can also get Volvic raspberry & cherry blossom 1.5L for free.
Most branded products are the same almost always overpriced , that's why we see regularly branded products on offer at half price at one supermarket and next week in another supermarket, brand names spend a lot of money on advertising and marketing and these costs are built into the price of food . They virtually charge us for watching their adverts I buy as much as possible the supermarket own brand products (not the value range ) and i find them equally as good as branded products
Got these earlier actually, obviously for free you can't whack it but they are £2.50 full price making them 63p each, which when you see your size of them you'll realise is ridiculous.
Oos at my Tesco. Checkoutsmart is a wild goose chase tbh
Both packs are in fact 4x30g , but on Tesco website cocoa & hazelnut is titled 3x40g by mistake , the image on the website clearly shows 4 bars also at the bottom of the page it says Net contents 4x30g CheckoutSmart link https://www.checkoutsmart.com/deals Clicksnap -Quidco https://www.quidco.com/clicksnap/offers/
Thank you managed to get 6 packs for 2 pound from my local, my three kids are happy :) heat added
These aren't vegetarian, choc caramel are.
Yeah I seen them last week. No tried them.
FYI aldi just started selling a range of "copies".. Or at least I saw them today and hadn't seem them before anyway.
I love these, I find them very addictive
Ours came today!! What a lovely surprise and very much approached by staff it really is the little things!
Couple of weeks ago when this deal was posted.
Awww lovely! When did you make a request?
Got delivery today at work, happy colleagues, thank you.
No they don’t! We get fresh bread, fruit and veg everyday day. Iceland made a delivery today as well.
Heat....also 1.1kg at farmfoods for £3.99
Remember when these used to be 1kg for 3 quid.
Kellogg’s, hands down do the best crunchy nut cornflakes, Aldi & other other supermarkets might be half the price but not in the same league as Kellogg’s. At Morrisons, Kellogg’s crunchy nut are currently £3 for 840g box so a little cheaper than this
Same here just logged on and got a slot for Wednesday! good job Iceland. Same as you couldn’t get a slot for any other supermarket
Yes, just did a shop and i got a slot for tomorrow evening 21/4 :D Thanks OP...i managed to do a 95% shop of £70+ with free next day delivery with Iceland. Normally shop with Sainsburys, but cant get a delivery or click and connect at all (3 weeks ahead all fully booked for the last 6 weeks). I know the circumstances are very difficult at the moment, but if a small(ish) company like Iceland can cope with an online order, and Sainsburys can't, i say well done Iceland (y)
I prefer the aldi version, more nutty taste. But my mother can't stand it and loves the original. Mom knows best (lol)
Respectfully disagree (and to each his/her own). I would loved to have prefer the Aldi/Lidl versions and they just aren't as tasty in my humble opinion. The real stuff I would happily buy in bin bags, me and the family could basically live off it. :)
Personally, I don't eat oats unless they are soaked. Made a world of difference to me. It will vary for other people's body types. Look it up if you want to know more. I also cut down drastically on chocolate and added sugar. Skin has thanked me for that one. I also don't consume dairy straight from the fridge. I heat it up if it's milk and let it come to room temp if it's yogurt. Honestly, I feel absolutely fantastic. But, I don't recommend any of this because everyone's physiology is different. For e.g. the Mrs and my dad come to think of it, can eat anything and their skin is always very good. Her bloating however can be on another level with certain combinations.
I switched back to a box of similar cereal to this (Jordans) after a couple of years of just adding 45p 100g bags of chocolate chips from Lidl to neat oats (Cheap Lidl normally) and eating with cold milk. Eating this kind of stuff is just so sweet afterwards and I much prefer the oats/chocolate chips breakfast which is also far far cheaper - 75p for a kg of oats and 90p for 200g of chocolate chips (1 milk and 1 plain) - which is a pretty good proportion. My other variation is to add linseeds and apricot jam to neat oats which I also like a lot.
Roasting hot this deal just caught my eye.. thanks for sharing
Shame iceland have hardly anything in stock in my one, added about £40 worth of shopping received 20 and didn’t get these
I add a small handful to some All Bran... Lasts much longer and certainly makes the healthier cereal taste better XD
Bargain compare to the robbing git I spotted on amazon tonight (mad)
A penny saved, is a penny earned :)
As well as no need to beat others to the front of the line.. That is a saving in itself! (y)
I only meant in case people bulk buy, I know it's only a best before date (y) I was going to post this myself but you beat me to it ;)
Well, I've never taken too much notice of dates on products such as cereals. Most families will have consumed these within four weeks and they'll certainly be fine for at least another four. Cornflakes was one of the cereals which had been stripped off the shelves of the two supermarkets I visited on Saturday. There was not a box to be found! So,I was more than happy to grab a box of these for £1.69.
Noticed they were only dated April.
Yes got these in Rhyl too. Think brilliant shop
Oops nearly voted cold as I read it as 30g for £1 (embarrassed) heat added.
Which store? Going to check on Saturday... Very hot!
They say new recipe but they taste the same as 15 year ago. Anyway, heat!
Saw these in my local Heron yesterday so it must be national. They’re fairly heavy on sugar content so passed up buying any.
Well these look like a hot mess
Are these nice? Will have to try. Heat added OP
(good price though - voted hot for those who do like)
Big fan of most of the Kelloggs Squares but these ones are nasty. As are the Unicorn candy ones.
They've got both varieties in Wellingborough, Northampton. The chocolate ones are really nice.
Farmfoods are cheaper? 3x1kg £8.99
better value at £1.61 per kg
2x5 kg for £16.16 is a pretty good option; if you really like them...
I can't believe it's not butter.
It's about 325 calories if you have about 50 grams (decent amount) with a decent amount of milk... Not sure where the 1250 comes from??
1 large bowel with milk has 1250 calories. So so so unhealthy.
You can't seem to be Crunchy Nut in plain form anymore? Now its got chocolate in it. What if you don't want the chocolate version? The chocolate is too much, and was completely uneccessary.
I eat healthy and train a lot and I'm in good shape but I still enjoy occasional unhealthy food in my diet. It's not as if I'm a professional athlete who has to eat healthy all the time due to their career.
Have some heat... Anyone know what happened to the chocolate special k cereal? Can't find it in any supermarkets nowadays?
I like them (embarrassed)
I have given heat for this, as they don't seem to be available to buy in any shop. It almost makes me wonder if these are some import and were not planned for the UK market. I have tried Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, but none of them stock them.
As always, this is available in every shop.
I decided to add a spoonful or two of the white ones into a bowl of regular coco pops to slowly use them up. Masks their almost rancid taste and uses them up eventually without the guilt of just binning them. I have only 25% left now.
My kids can’t get enough of these! Thanks op :)
