Back in stock and now £4.09
Not the same as the shop bought stuff but satisfies the itch I get for iced coffee for a fraction of the price. Cheers
Back in stock for pre-order.
Either or. I think all milk is a tad better but water is fine
I found the kenco hot drinks don’t mix very well especially compared to the Nescafé ones - do these mix better though as I live an iced coffee
I like these drinks with hot or cold milk. Also if you want to use hot water. Mix the packet with some hot water 1/5 of a mug. To ensure all granules are mixed. Then top up rest of mug.
Do you mix them with warm milk or warm water? Thanks.. Haven't tried them hot before, but are nice cold..
Make them with cold milk not water, taste how you'd expect them to then.
Also in Sainsburys
FYI, Nescafe Azera is 2 for £5 in farmfoods.
This or nescafe azera?
the larger 170g tub at Asda is also cheaper £4.00 (£2.35/100g)
It’s one of the better instant coffee’s...Hot
I like these but you need to use two sachets or it's too watery, still pretty good at this price
There is a reason these are cheap , they are foul. Completely different to their non "iced" counterparts, stick with the regular Kenco coffee sachets they are normally around £1.50.
yeah really nice cup of flat white, nice creamy topping.
That's how it's supposed to be though
Unfortunately the only 'mug' size coffees seem to be Americano grand and latte. Cappuccino was half a mug. I'll Maybe try these ones
Thanks for that might have to have a look, nice to have some variety with the coffee Pods ☕ (y) (y)
Down to £3.00 per pack at Asda - along with lots of other varieties.
Usually around £5 at my local tesco so this is a great price delivered to my door...
I buy the 170g tins at £4 when they appear, 3 or 4 times a year.
These are £2.49 in most supermarkets every other week. In fact they can pretty much always be obtained at that price if you shop around the supermarkets.
Thanks (y) There was nothing on the website so i couldn't compare
These are only ever £5 so that they can be legitimately priced at 'half price' the rest of the time...
Same! Azera is much better imo
I tried this once. It was awful. Never again.
May be slightly cheaper at Asda, but nothing better than not having to leave the house! #coffeelockdown
Likewise. I haven't left the house in 8 weeks. It's crazy that the longer you stay at home, the more homeless you look. I still get 2-3 grocery deliveries a week though :)
Fair point. I've been avoiding supermarkets as much as possible though. As a standalone purchase this was a great deal for me to have delivered while working from home.
....and without buying 5 packs!
£3 in asda for those without prime
Thanks for the heads up, just ordered @ £13.50 with subscribe and save. We usually get 2 packs for £7 so a decent saving.
Oh, sorry; but it's not showing that for me!
They're currently 3 for £10 so that's 6 for £20!!!!
Good find. As an alternative for those not on Prime you can get 1 pack for £3 at Asda. Also deals (3 for £10) on other tassimo products. For some reason it won't let me put the asda link
Back up to full price now
Yes, I will never spend £20 plus delivery for 2 boxes of coffee, however some may buy other stuff they need. But I may do, if I can get 8 boxes. Definetely not a deal for me, but I don't consider this cold just because is not for me. I didn't check what products they have, probably not a wide range, but I don't do on line food shopping anyway.
August 2020 like the title says :) Bbe not use by as well (y) :)
On check out look at the use by dates, especially if you are not planning on using anytime soon...
I disagree to an extent with the other comment but more on value than taste, I do like pretty strong coffee, currently have both in the cupboard and find you have to put much more azera in the cup for it to be strong enough compared with the kenco. If someone makes me an azera say with a usual teaspoon and half it tastes like dishwater to me. If you load it up it does taste fine. We used to get which ever was on deal, now we buy a couple of the kenco when it's on offer!
No, not in my opinion. Azera is all finely ground while this is more like a mix of classic freeze dried coffee with finely ground. It is not bad and a bit cheaper, but Azera is nicer.
This nicer than Azera?
Same price in ASDA.
This particular coffee is awful. Kenco's Mocha is perfect but this is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, which is probably why it's reduced. To describe the taste, it's both espresso and very sugary at the same time. If you like sugary espresso, this is for you.
It's a great idea, but I live on Tyneside and the nearest dropoff is in York. A round trip of 170 miles, so I've stopped using the pods altogether. It's a nice cup of coffee but don't we & the Government have to bite the bullet on this kind of plastic landfill lunacy? There are many other ways of brewing up without creating so much long-term pollution.
I had no idea about this service! Great initiative, I'll definitely take a look into it... Shame the only one near me is by the inlaws place (lol)
There are quite a few recycling locations but they're not everywhere for sure https://www.terracycle.com/en-GB/brigades/tassimo-lor Our local recycler uses the money from recycling the pods to give to our local charity which is cool
Check out terracycle - they run a recycling programme, I drop mine off at a local charity who earn money for collecting them.
Sainsbury's had and may still have these on offer for £2 ea
Thanks, added to subscribe and save so even cheaper
There are some nice specialty instants in sachets, better than bad/old beans, but they are extremely poor value. I mostly Aeropress (just for me) or French Press though am still on the fence whether or not to cough up £240 for the Sage Precision Brewer.
This Kenco one is OK, not great but better than average. I've tried most the instant brands with Infinity (basically Tetleys coffee version) being my preferred one as it's pretty good value but is an acquired taste (strong) - they're all just gimmicks though - just finely ground instant coffee with a pinch of the real stuff. This is fine for if you need something quick but even the worst ground bean is better than the best instant in my opinion. The Aeropress is definatly the way to go.
Better buying beans than ground having recently read an article that coffee and cocoa beans are sometimes ground with contaminants such as cockroaches.
Maybe a rhetorical question but if not then it's branding :) Instant coffee with a small amount of coffee grounds added. I've tried it and didn't like it - 15% ground coffee is too much IMHO, any more and they'd have to include filters :D I find the Azera stuff a bit better (often have it at work) but at the end of the day they're both mass-produced instants.
15% whole bean, 85% what else then? He wanted to say it's a powder, not beans at all, because is instant coffee.
Hang in there, mine came last week after originally saying mid May
Ours from 16th April has had two date changes since ordering, end of May, mid May and came yesterday.
No I’ve never bought one before , just won’t let me buy it or put it in the basket , probably expired
Have you bought this one before I bought one before and it is only allowing me to buy 2 now looks like max of 3
On the 21/04/20 The vanila was £2.50. Waiting on delivery estimate.
thank you for posting the deal, since Costa is closed this is a great deal, got it for £12.08 plus it does taste better so I really should not be so lazy.
Subscribe and save is all very well, but no delivery to my neck of the woods (Fife ) until 27 may. Prime is next day Worth the extra pennies for me.
The last time I bought these they were £13.50 ,was 5% off normal price,on subscribe and save.my next order would have been £13.50. So I cancelled, then reset up at £12.79,at 10% off.
They're normally £4 a pack in Asda, for the non-Costa ones. The Costa ones tend to be £5 a pack. But Tesco usually do 2 for £7, and Asda do 3 for £10. So even the £14 for 5 is decent price.
Arent they like £5-£6 a pk at tesco though? I thunk its a little steep. Thus deal is great as it works out at £3 a pk. Ive ordered 2 lots 😁
Sadly that’s not the intense one......
Aren't these usually 2 quid a tin ?
A bit late but yesterday I bought the Kenco Millicano Americano 170g tin. It was on sale for £2.50 at my local Co-op (Epsom). There was also the big Nescafe gold instant coffee that was half price.
Bargain as it's only in small tins and far fewer outlets than the OG. Haaawt!!!
How different is the intense? Just a stronger flavour?
vanilla can be ordered, for now that is.
Try: a latte glass/mug, add 1 and 1/2 sachets, add small amount of hot water and whisk till powder has dissolved. Fill the rest of the glass with cold milk and add ice. Let me know what you think...
Ordered more of the vanilla :)
Do people really like these? I bought a box last time, and I honestly can’t taste neither coffee, salted caramel nor vanilla unless I’m just doing something totally wrong (confused)
Went for the vanilla ones on Friday having never tried them. I do like these though
