Yes it’s completely free you watch videos and online tutorials about baby’s and parenting. You have to collect from a local point or if that’s not convenient you can pay for delivery. Reviews on mumsnet from people who have had / used them Here

Can anyone share more info on the baby box? Is it actually free? Web link goes straight to sign up so wonder what the process is to get one (and if anyone has experience using it?). Thanks

Thanks! It's amazing of you to take time out and share this! (y)

Really useful info this, thanks. Just to add, if you have health insurance with Vitality you can also claim £100 for birth of child...! Don’t need to add them to policy, I just sent a low res scan of birth certificate as proof and got a cheque in the post about a week later (y)

This is a completely random thing to post and put all that effort into, but could not have come at a better time and is unbelievabley apprichated (y) thank you (y)

we loved ours granted it was years ago, we liked it because it was easy to fold and we took in on planes and folded it up quickly right up to the gate. Only issue was when we had nearly had guns pulled on us at security in customs in Amsterdam when it went through the scanner and the front wheel connector looked like it was a gun. Funny thing was it had gone through 6 x ray machines up to then.

Terrible buggy, get stuck on the roads, to fold and unfold it’s not so easy.

Anyone found any working voucher codes? Need to grab a car seat, so a working 10% code wouldn't hurt :)

I bought the "Jamestown" set at the start of the year. A bit of advice if you start building and it seems like you are missing parts or it just doesn't work, check the version of the instructions with the mothercare website. The "Jamestown" set I bought was old stock from 2015 but had the latest 2017 version of instructions which didn't make much sense.

It's not worth £480 let alone £960.

Was thinking about buying but then don’t want kids.

Was thinking about buying but reviews are really poor.

It’s Group 0/1 - Group 0 is rear facing to 10kg. Infant carriers are Group 0+, rear facing to 13kg. Group 1 is forward facing from 9kg I have the same seat as the Madrid (it’s got a Fisher Price cover on it) but I’m not able to add a photo of the relevant sticker that would confirm 10kg just now. I’ll try and remember tomorrow. I bought the seat second hand for research/demo purposes only, it’s a crap seat that doesn’t fit well in any car and is far too upright for a newborn (also has no support for a newborn) so I would never dream of actually using it!

Both amazon and Tesco websites state 9kg. Either both of those have the same typo or the mothercare site does. Perhaps someone who bought the seat can clarify.

It clearly states in the above description rear facing upto 10kg and front facing from 9kg so where did you get your information?

Anyone thinking of the madrid one from birth it is worth noting that it only rear faces to 9kg not 13kg (as most infant carriers do) which in a baby can be a few months of an age difference.

I would never recommend Mothercare cot beds, the side rail on ours split and we had to take them to court to get a refund. Their guarantee/warranty is worthless. We won the case and a County Court Judgement was issued against them. I've been requesting proof that our cot confirms to the required standards (BS EN 716-2:2008 / EN716:2008) for several months however they have yet to provide any evidence that the cot beds they are selling have been tested, let alone meet the standards. Trading Standards are now investigating and are considering a criminal case against them.
