Cheap but very poor quality. I will never use BIC even if free. It is like hurting and punishing yourself.

miffyl

Very misleadingly worded - it says You receive the BIC SHAVE BOX the first month, containing a top quality razor and blades which implies more than one blade however it says on another page The 1st delivery You receive your Shave Box with handle + 1st blade refill https://www.bicshaveclub.com/uk/shaving-subscription.html This is what you actually get. In my opinion, this is a far better deal https://uk.dollarshaveclub.com/starter-sets For a fiver you get this

SpringsteenIsGod

Voted Hot. I opted for the 3 Blade package, it's £5.50 every other month, not every month, for me anyway, as I am only an occasional shaver. Works out cheap for me, thanks for posting.

From_the_Midlands

Closest to Gillette I've ever had, so yes I'm very happy with these.

eslick

In terms of razors like these, in this country at least yes, cheap disposable no but they are new to the push for subscriptions services with what they class as a premium product that cannot compete with the likes of Gillette or Even Wilkinson.

Can you advise why this does not comprise a pencil sharpener?

Is that with the top on or do you go extreme with topless?

Sorry offer has now ended. Expired. Brighton was already sold out.

stevethos

They were giving away 4 comp tickets per staff member here, and the gig still hasn’t sold out (lol) oh dear.

Familyguy1982

Sorry it didn't work for you. I thought the bit about the email invite being exclusive was just for show.

Wonder if this may be store specific, but looks like a clear-out from the last school term. Will visit my local again this week as there were no reductions two days ago. Good spot though as these are bargain buys for Bic products if you can find them!

Agree with paul124, these are found at a £1 loads of places (go into any poundshop), but the worst thing about them is the amount of plastic that goes to waste in a very short period of time. To save money longterm, and the environment, get a decent razor you can put blades into.

paul124

they got these in superdrug for 99p and the 10x twin blade for 99p

Maybe they should reduce their prices. Then they'll not remain stationary.

Imassa

Yeah that's true... They have quite a few stationary bic items

paulbohs

I wish I lived near a Wilko. I'm happy with 2.80 though as it saves me a drive to Wilko where I'd spend way more on other stuff. 2.50 is a good price, what brand are they as I'd like to see which ones work best for my wood turning? I also bought 1.19 colouring pencils by helix to see how they fare.

Imassa

Wilko have something similar for £2.50

I’ve pretty much tried them all and keep going back to Gillette. Cornerstone - worst blades I have EVER used. Cuts galore. Avoid completely. Bic - relatively smooth and felt solid but a couple of nicks first and following shaves. Dollar - no cuts but pretty poor shave & longevity of the blades really poor. Harry’s - not bad and the best of the bunch but cancelled sub as Gillette streets ahead. King of Shaves - better than most but feels awkward. Wilkinson Sword - never found them to last as long as Gillette. Own brands generally poor but Lidl’s was fairly impressive. I’m sure there are/were more but Mach 3 almost impossible to beat. Fusion comes close but even more expensive than the Mach 3. If price is vital, try Lidl, if quality is vital, try Mach 3.

eslick

Not found any subscription that are better value than buying fusion blades on offer. They hook you and then there is the shock price.

Pinksparkles1973

Hubby tried a trial of "Harrys" He said it was the best razor he's ever used and their shaving gel was like a silk cushion on his skin (flirt) ..... must nick his razor and gel and try it on my legs, see if it is really that good! ;) (:I PMSL
