Can this be used indoors ? I have a cafe and want to light the walls or does it have to be dark Thanks
bought this to use indoors for a boxing day party. heat added
We have seen a couple on a council estate nearby. Looks ok ish
Most foods these days don't need oil or fat to cook them as the food itself is either full of so much fat or if you like bacon or gammon from Asda its just full of water and I don't really like my bacon boiled. Whoever they buy it from must pump so much water into it, no doubt to compensate for the slashed prices they have to supply it for. Having a partner who is into slimming world you realise you don't need fat or oil and in our house we don't have any copper stone pans and nothing sticks. Aldi burgers are another example of fat content. I bought them in error once instead of the 5% fat ones, cooked them in the oven and had to drain the fat from them 3 or 4 times. They were just swimming in oil....yuck.
My father bought one and thinks its brilliant. Needs no or next to no fat to cook anything and cleans like a dream. Thats why i was looking for and posted this deal.
I think that's a decent price tbh, normally 30 for the big one alone. I've got two of the 28cm, they're ace. Will be keeping an eye on tkmaxx now too though!
They are good. But not as good as some. There in tk maxx often at 15.99 each. If this were cheaper it would be a deal. But at 51 quid it's just like what there worth anyway so hardly a deal. Even if it is lower than advertised rrp.
nice, anyone used these? are they as good as the ads claim?
Link to a good price for the weatherproof box https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/masterplug-weatherproof-4-socket-extension-lead-box-kit-with-timer-8m-18-wickes-3127731#comments
Bought in the Tesco Direct closing sale for £20. I think the light effect is great, especially as it moves compared to others at a similar price which are static.
Depending on the size of your box it may be worth getting a short 1 gang extension lead to plug in then the transformer plug will plug into the socket of the extension lead. https://cpc.farnell.com/pro-elec/pe01127/extension-lead-one-gang-0-50m/dp/PL13128?st=1 gang extension lead
Neighbour got one lasted 2 hours until it was pinched . Comedy value = priceless
We got this last year. We live in a pretty dark cul de sac and we’re unimpressed with the brightness of it projecting onto our house from the other side of the drive. We sent ours back. However that was a full price one.
I bought this from Argos and had the leaking water issue after around three months. They exchanged it me and the same happened with the replacement around six months later.
Keep loving it. I'm still deciding
I love this iron
Thanks deal-breaker for me
I have a local John Pye auction warehouse near to where I live. If your not familiar with this set up they auction on the internet hundreds of different items ranging from electrical, furniture, in fact you could find almost anything there on viewing day.The item they have tend to be faulty returns, unwanted items, warranty repairs, bankrupt stock, ect etc . No warranties, no refunds, no returns. Over the past few months I have seen hundreds of these irons and inspected dozens of them, all had burnt sole plates, so I would imagine they are a bit dodgy, but you pay your money and takes your choice.
As they're remotely controlled there will be circuitry 'listening' out for signals from the remote - this will slowly run the batteries down.
These work really well. But seem to use up battery even when not in use.
Int modern technology amazing. They stay up over WiFi iirc.
You could probably use them for moobs too :p
JML Star Bras for only £3.50? Boobs?
A relative uses this religiously and keeps the shavings as a dairy free parmesan alternative for pasta. Heat added.
Ahhh no now you tell me when ordered
these are really bad
This is absolute rubbish
I've got one of these, and it's absolute crap!! As soon as you apply the slightest bit of pressure, it stops working :( You buy cheap, you buy twice...
I have the corded one and it’s the best iron I’ve ever had
No problems any time (y)
oh I must have been reading something different to you. thank you for this feedback.
thank you for this feedback - that's useful to know :)
I was lucky enough to come across this reduced to £20 in my local Boots. It’s much better than my previous iron but the cordless feature is a pain because you have to constantly keep putting it back on the base like most cordless irons. I just use it permanently attached to the base now. Overall I’m pleased with it.
Depending on size you could actually use this to shower down before/after hot tub or kids swimming pool!
I paid 20 a few month back, came In handy when camping, not as easy as it looks to catch
Thanks... Never thought they were worth £20 but for a tenner I thought why not, might get some use of it this September weather permitting. Then just store it til next spring
That's cheap, never seen cheaper,
Cold voters could you share a link where this is cheaper please
Seem like it’s back to full price
Looks like a good buy, Aldi are usually good products, never had a problem.
i think i saw this for £20 in sainsburys today
Yes thanks. Had visions of you skipping to gleefully iron a shirt like it was the best part of your day ;)
Same here. (cheeky)
USB Powered...…….. hahaha
Still in stock though, unlike this "deal".
You did zero research before posting this? Its literally half price everywhere else. No doubt some bought it at this price though, jumping on it due to the heat. Reviews are awful though.
I have this. It’s average, £39.99 standard price. Worth £19.99 max I would say
And the availability is how many weeks?
Tesco or Wilko?
Link is not working
Thanks for edit
Out of stock
Oh sorry.. removed
24cm OOS :(
How bright are these? I don’t wantt the house lit-up like a roman candle!
If it's like the similar one we have, you could have it at the base of a wall pointing up, or along a wall. But it would look better if pointed from a few meters away.
ordered thanks heat
Ours is at bottom of drive, I would say about 15 ft. I think the further away the better
Thanks @FrugalFergal nice find
Oh dear! Can a mod please place this in the right category? Also here is a video of the iron from the manufacturer It comes with an attachment so you can iron curtains vertically without removing them. Here's what comes in the box
Ahh the game of ironing. My favourite.
does this work on my xbox 360?
Got my stepdad one he loves it <3
I think some of their things can be hit and miss. They just pay people for their inventions and slab a JML label on it (lol) . But the ideas are usually worth buying. My BF's mum has the Von Shef one and that does well even though they're known as a lower end brand so figure JML one should be really good :) .
I'm moving soon so still in box. But great reviews and a massive slash from the rrp. Plus jml is a good brand I'd happily approve the brand.
Are they good? Just ordered one.
Thanks ordered 2
I bought another good make. I have straight hair & was hoping they would do the job & be better for my hair. Alas no as if they do it must take a lifetime to get straight like straighteners do. I returned & went back to my straighteners.
Does it straighten wavy and frizzy hair?
Bought this from Wilkos for £5 a couple months back, good item
I know, I know. I'm just sick of not being as sexy as Road dog
Bro but your hair is curly being Randy Savage. It would be a struggle
Waste of Money. The advert however is so convincing
