Which then came off early because of high demand :(

Martin.Butler

Maybe because it was £349 on amazon prime a couple of weeks ago

S_Green

Probably cause it's limited to students.

Yeah bit confused on this one. Why's this cold?

bcs1

Did you go through from basket to checkout? I think I had the same, but when I went to checkout the 5% discount was applied. Don't see why this is cold!

This was worth it at £349.99 or less. Not at £379.99.

Where are you guys buying tempered glass from? Pricey on Ebay!

MrSwitch

There's a lot of postings on here for it, ranging from £449 (256GB) to £280 (128GB)

I know, it's stupid. I guess they think people don't need to actually shut off or restart there devices and that double tap to wake reduces the need for the power button. It really confused me for a while though till I changed it back.

Topper1900

I can't understand why Google Assistant is the power button default, when you can just get GA by swiping upwards from the bottom of the screen anyway.

profet

Accubattery isn't that accurate. Mine is estimating 3962.

Zeb

Can't get the alert slider fault to come back - yet. Anyone found any USB drivers for Windows 7?

ady85

Not sure how accurate the accubattery is either. Estimated battery capacity figure at 3967mh, but design capacity says 4115mh. Not sure if charging to 100 % has degraded the battery?!

Just a heads up this phone failed the durability test pretty badly. A protective case is a must.

MrMatt991

More ram is never bad. I've never had enough that some apps don't get paged or slept while I'm switching, so for me I'd be very happy to see 12g in my phone. The CPUs are all 64 bit so you literally cannot afford to equip it with more ram than it can address, even the very cheapest arm chips.

fishmaster

Yes the processor can address all the RAM, otherwise that would be a very bad design flaw by Qualcomm. However whether the user will ever use all that RAM in their general usage that's a different story. My phone (OPPO Find X2 Pro) has 12GB RAM and the average RAM usage in the month I've had the phone is ... 4.6GB out of 12GB (stat found in Developer options in Settings). So no I'm nowhere near utilising all the RAM in my general usage of the phone. 6GB is enough for most people currently.

No it's OLED. X2 Pro.

nevakillmonkeys

No, on a phone

Tim_Yang

X2 is LCD and Nord is OLED.

LoveWagon

That's the thing, most cameras are decent in daylight with a still subject. That is a lovely photo though! Fingers crossed Adobe come out with their photography app sooner rather than later, and it won't be such a big deal any more.

Looks like early signs of a tinting issue https://androidcommunity.com/oneplus-nord-amoled-screen-shows-some-tinting-20200730/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

This is a really interesting take on the 765g - I can handle the Nord's plastic body and the less than class-leading camera but if it really does feel slow then I doubt I'll keep it for long. Well, I guess I can return it to Amazon if I need to, then start saving for an S20.

I'll let you know in about a weeks time.

Oh, I see. Updating to the latest version in case it contained a fix (although it is of coure also good security practice) was initially my only idea, but then I thought of the possibility of there being a OnePlus subreddit which had noticed any issues and solutions, so had a quick search of reddit.com/r/oneplus (it may be worth searching further than the one thread I picked, using the search term of 'Bluetooth'). One result that came up was this thread posted a few days ago, in which one of the responses suggests it could be related to codec support and going into the Settings -> Bluetooth -> Gear icon on your device's name -> Unchecking 'ldac' could get the result you want.

wadz03

Hi, I did the update a few days ago when I received the phone. I've spoken to amazon and they have offered to replace the phone. I just wanted to see if it was just my phone or if it was a software issue. Again any help is greatly appreciated. Love the phone, but the Bluetooth is driving me mad.

Pour

I haven't tried anything to do with Bluetooth, but have you tried updating to the latest version of Oxygen? I noticed shortly after completing a transfer of settings from my previous phone that it was offering one (and thus have now updated it to that version).

wadz03

Received mine, but having some Bluetooth issues. The phone connects and plays music fine on my portable speaker and my xiaomi buds but keeps disconnecting from my car stereo and car Bluetooth (tune2air). I have tried resetting the Bluetooth, forgetting the device, and restarting the phone, no joy. Any help to sort this would be most appreciated.
