Cheers WIHAD :)
Cheers WIHAD :)
Check the robert dyas website. Looks to be better options and lots of items marked down
For for an extra £100 you're probably getting closer to a set with swings and all of the above.
Id be looking for something better second hand at that price range.
In fairness to kids... They will get bored our play area has swings too they never just the slide.
This was available at the time of post. I managed to bag one.
Lots of money but looks like a bargain when you consider how much there is to do and how many years of enjoyment kids will get from this - could certainly think of worse ways to spend that much money.
How much is installation? Actually looks pretty good for the money. Perfect.if you own a pub with a decent garden
fortune favours the./... no I'm paying for installation haha
Also have to pay for the installation unless you are very very brave!
If you have a football team...
Heat for effort OP 👏
Thank you very much :)
Been working on this for a few days now, hopefully will get some sun at some point in the summer (though last year where I live, you could swim without a pool in the garden it rained so much) & I will keep it updated :) Whoops, as above, been working on it for a few days, have now removed, thanks for letting me know :)
"there are not bucket loads" (annoyed) Summer will probably be over by the time most have stopped scrolling through that awesome effort :D Heated, thanks for taking the time to share.
Lidl at Coventry road still have them
These look so much fun for kids (y)
We never bothered with anchors as figured it weighs so much it wasn't going to shift (lol)
Thanks, that's reassuring, I have to admit it is pretty sturdy. Good idea to move it around...if only I hadn't already filled the concrete round the anchors! (lol)
I assure you you won't be disappointed with Wickey - ours is 5 years old now, has been moved around the garden and had various bits reconfigured and it's still as sturdy as the day we built it. Definitely worth paying a few extra £s for the quality.
Showing as sold out
Just because Aldi tell you they will have these on sale, dont get excited . They advertised Electric bikes 3 weeks ago, also sent me an email with the info. I checked the website in readiness to order, nothing there. I then called customer service, the operator was not aware of the item or price. After some time searching she finally found the information but could not tell me when they would appear on the website. This was Saturday, she advise me to check the website the following day. I checked the site at 1130 and happily found the bikes listed for pre order. I ordered 2 pennies short of £1000. This was the 3rd May . I received an email stating that the bikes would be dispatched on the 9th May. On the 9th of May I received an email stating that there was no stock, order cancelled. I was fuming, after emailing the relatively new CEO, I received an email some days later from one of his minnions stating that, they hadn't sold out of the bikes, the fact was that they had heavily advertised the bikes although they HAD NO STOCK AT ALL. This kind of misrepresentation just to get people on the hook is surely illegal.
Same price in their website. Just ordered, hopefully be good
I am also interested... Anyone please???
Anyone had the swing set in their garden for a while? How's the durability?
I got one last year. The swing itself is sturdy and I used concrete to secure it. Main issue I have had is changing the swing height. There are no markings or anything on the rope so u just have to hope you have placed a knot in the same position each side - practically impossible and im always a little out leaving us with a slightly wonkey swing.
Argos and their photoshop again, I know it's just a picture but why go to all the trouble of poorly pasting the picture on some background scenery ? I can only assume the children are prisoners and original background is a grim prison yard with other children breaking rocks or something whilst smoking. Could be just me...
Its actually losing money...as most things are around there...
Ahhhh. Seemed to knock a tenner off for me. Ah well. It's probably just a shin up a ladder if you take Gareths helpful comment as advice.
Just tried as well - didn't work
Wow. £17 for a single go on a slide.......says a lot about London
Hardly a "Great day out", but well worth it for an hour or so. Great views, and the slide for kids.
Suggest you check your facts before opening your gob. Batteries are genuine Makita all with the battery indicator button. No issues with them whatsoever.
They'll be the bog-standard non-star non-self test non-indicator batteries that everyone was having problems with. You're welcome to them!
4 for a fiver
So did I ??
Just clicked it...
I bought one of these last year. The instructions were very poor and hard to follow. It took many hours to assemble (by myself). On the plus side it's still standing.
Bought this. Good quality. Got a 7y/o and a 1 y/o. Both love it. Slide still fun for the bigger one.
Thanks for this!
My neighbours have something like this... little kids watching me sunbathing naked is definitely appreciated.
What were you expecting? Alton Towers?! (lol)
I don't think that's the same one :)
Waste of money reviews saying on Amazon US
Hot for the Dino Sprinkler :)
A second hand one may have damage that can’t be seen, especially with the way some kids are rough on it. What’s the point of saving when it will probably cost more to repair?? I really don’t see the sense in that.
Out of stock
So many products sold online do that . They all Photoshop them. Especially on ebay Somebody said they paid £100 for it and another person said they paid £120 for it so at £169 I'd say it's obviously overpriced
Blatant false advertising with how they've photoshopped those kids on making it look twice the size it actually is!
Doh. Will check if it comes back in to stock tomorrow
Wait a minute, where can I get a mains Makita slide compound mitre saw for £145?
The dewalt 54v also has an adapter which you can use to make it run off mains power so you get the best of both worlds, it doesn't come with the saw so you have to buy it separately
I used the DeWalt cordless with the new 54v battery. Brilliant. A must buy vs mains. Go anywhere. Light. No cables. Well impressed.. The 54v battery fits the lower voltage stuff to. Don't know anything about this makita but it's the way to go if you are in the trade.. Imo.. So I'm giving this some heat
Why would you spend 300 more than a mains powered one though. Its good for tradesman but not ya average diyer.
Perfect if you have a few logs you want to turn into firewood. This should be up to the job, as long as they are quite small logs.
I have just reserved it! Its coming up at £23
These are quite steep I bought 2 the last time they were on offer
I think I need to add some information to this thread. I discovered that the images produced by this device are not 14MP but 13MP (4416 x 2944 = 13,000,704). Whilst they are, in my opinion, extremely high quality (depending on the material - some of my colour negatives had degraded or were poorly exposed and had been pushed when originally printed but some of my B&W were stunning), I don't like to be deceived. Also, the images are forcibly cropped by as much, I estimate, as 15% of the image area. I contacted Veho about this and waited two days before posting on here because I wanted to give them the chance to respond but I have heard nothing. However, all in all, it is probably still worth the money for a simple and quick means of digitising old transparencies.
Very informative description, thank you.
Oos now (fierce)
It's on again.bought it last time it was at this price. Little one loves it.
Thanks :) my little boy will love this
I was lucky to pick one of these up from John Lewis on a price promise match for £713 last month against curry’s - great oven
That’s true about Currys reading reviews. AO.com are good and have 1/2 price install running looking at their site. Good deal if you’re not wanting to self install
curry's are awful i looked around myself and brought neff from regal kitchens and got great service
It’s called freedom of speech. Save a few pennies at what risk ?
? its called shopping around why did you even bother posting
Yeah I get that but it's a deals website therefore you have to judge it on the deal presented not on the cost lol
Good deal. Have one
Probably cost. An iphone fits in your pocket so why spend 40quid on a strap! i wouldnt say they are great value but they are great straps. Better than any others ive had.
Wonder why it's been so heavily downvoted
Had the one , i changed to the light one , great straps.
thanks stacey. :)
Very mixed reviews on amazon.com, price has come down to £181 https://www.amazon.com/review/reviews-lightbox//ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_img?ie=UTF8&asin=B003NSBMUI

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F351442577626 I think this is the same one but cheaper...
Heat for getting the children away from the iPads and outdoors!
