Thought this was an excellent deal, use the code ~REG30~ to knock £30 off the upfront cost if the phone, bringing that to £128.99, and a monthly payment of £29pm 21:9 CinemaWi… Read more

From what I've read, the only difference between the 1 and the 5 is a smaller screen, with a slightly lower resolution (4k on the 1). So is there any reason why the 5 should be any worse than the 1? Tempted by this.. At work now so may watch some video reviews later...

(lol) (lol)

Yeah got one, I had the Xperia 1 since launch best phone I have had, 21.9 Oled HDR screen, 960fps camera, eye AF, dolby atmos speakers, triple camera with cinema Pro filming, ps4 dual shock control, it offers lot more then other phones on the market

I bought these ear buds on release and they are sublime. They aren’t bass heavy though, the noice cancellation on the other hand is amazing, just check the reviews, well worth £220. Good deal this.

Sweet as a nut

£100 Off this brand new release, plus the free headphones by redemption, seems like a good little package to me, especially if you are longing for this phone. With O2 refresh, you… Read more

Not sure if you are aware, but the trend to low capacity phones is changing/has changed the last few months, even appl, a notorious low capacity company, has put a near 4000mAh battery in their latest flagship. I agree wireless charging is handy, but until they do more phones with quicker charging speeds, then it won't be a necessity for a while IMHO.

I was following this phone closely as more details came out, but no wireless charging of any form is a dealbreaker for my next phone, sadly. It was a rollercoaster ride of thinking Sony stopped making compact phones, and now they made one, but it lacks this. You might think Wireless charging is unnecessary, but my opinion is that it will be as important in 2021 as USB Type-C is in 2019. (Especially with the trend to low-capacity phones that need charging every day.)

Could you measure the case size for me please?

I know this was directed at somebody else but this might help. I went on live chat yesterday and said I was interested in the phone. I told them I had heard it has been going for £524 outright and they offered me the £75 discount but it wouldn't go through the checkout at their end so think it's gone now. Instead they gave me three months free which I took. Not as good as £75 off but happy to get the phone and earphones for £599 and can PAC my number away to a sim only deal easily enough after my free months are up.

Anyone want to sell me some headphones, send me a dm.

Looks like a nice phone - pretty similar to the Xperia 1, but without the 4k screen. Snapdragon 855 with 6GB + 128GB and is flagged as the Dual SIM version. Camera specs look good… Read more

If were to go through carphone warehouse they have an allocation of 2000. Doesnt make sense why sony only have 75 on offer when you see that number.

Trust me very high quality phone and different from other androids you end up staying with a Xperia once you experience using one

Those headphones man...need bloody volume control!

free headphones? lol this phone is never worth the 699 price tag even with free earbuds
