3 things ordered, 1 broken (via C+C) refunded in store and C+C cost. Not ideal but can’t say fairer than that.
Mine arrived this morning, all in one piece, although the padding in the packaging was close to non-existant (ribboned paper pattern). Compared it to my Le Creuset teapot (colour gradiant), I am keen to replace as the handle has cracked at the top which is glued (the botton is still fixed). The TK Maxx teapot is very slightly taller, the handle and spout protrude further. The inside of the lid is also different, so certainly not just a different paint job, its a different cast, not sure whether to pass any judgment about its authenticity (altough I'm certain that Le Creuset would be chasing them if they were selling counterfeits).
XD (y) Lol, no, but not putting the lids on jars is mentioned in the court papers!
Off topic. But it's a bit harsh to break up with someone for not doing the dishes properly 😜
I did an order of Le Creuset the other month from Tks. One teapot the lid arrived chipped, one teapot had an obvious colour flaw round the rim, one storage jar "Le Creuset" writing was not straight. So mix of packing fails and obvious seconds quality. Kept one out of 5 items. Have had a butter dish previously which was fine. If you can get a good one, they are fine for the prices TKs charge. Nice range of colours means they can be decorative as well as practical.
Bought this the last time. Very solid teapot but it does weight alot so I've actually found it quite difficult to pour tea without having to have a solid grip on the handle.
Not sure if you can answer this but hoping you can. I need a teapot that is weight “balanced” when pouring (issues with hands and wrist). Can’t make up my mind between this style and the taller styled pot. You may have the answer to my decision. :)
Cafe ole reminds me of Fawlty Towers. Mrs. Peignoir : [asking for coffee with her breakfast] Cafe au lait. Basil Fawlty : Cafe what? Mrs. Peignoir : Au lait. Basil Fawlty : Ah. [thinking she means "Ole," the Spanish word for "Bravo!"] Basil Fawlty : Ole. Quite.

Just to add that its really bad - the one I had (bought from a previous deal on HUKD for the same price) didn't pour properly, the metal mesh deformed quite quickly and rusted. I binned it after a month and didn't bother asking Amazon for a refund... I've now opted for some silicon tea infusers and they work great!

I bought it a few weeks ago it’s a great tea pot no issues with pouring or holding the heat.
Had this one for over 10 years and still going strong
Got it last week. No issues at all with pouring and the handle didn't get warm after I boiled it on the cooker.
I like this but read the reviews last time about it spilling everywhere when pouring the tea....reminds me of the Ben Elton sketch that we can get a man on the moon but we can't get the tea from teapot to the cup.
