Bought a couple of jackets and tops in the same sale last year and Regatta has dived bombed in terms of quality. They used to make reasonable quality at a reasonable price, they're now making crap with an outrageous RRP. With 70% off its ok for walking the dog etc but ignore the RRP and avoid for outdoor activities as it will let you down.

I'd agree with this - bought some items in previous sale and quality very poor as well as dodgy sizing.

I have ordered walking sandles and trainers for long walks.

Check the prices on Amazon as I have found they are cheaper than when Regatta have a sale

I can't confirm on the Barbour ones (though I'm suspicious) but the consensus is that Hunters are rubbish these days. What is true is that (subject to fit of course) 'real' wellies are only about £10, but they won't get you points at the pony club!

Any that don't fall apart, couldn't care less what they look like or what I look like when walking the dog! The Joules ones the water just sleeps through the seems - they're total crap!

For fashion then?

They've arrived but are going back. Sizing is awful, at least a good one size out. And a very "baggy" fit too. Ah well....

Just be aware that the kids "tall" ones are shorter than the women's ones so they stop at a strange hight on a women (unless your a bit shorter then your fine)

Regatta is usually decent but my last purchase was a 'breathable' jacket. It was like wearing a bin bag - inside was soaking after few hundred yards walking. Their Craghoppers range is much better.

I love the half zip fleece warm comfortable and great layer under coat
