Yeah, when I used to actually bother checking it, because I'd be watching TV for a couple of hours before going to bed, it would register that I'd slept from 8pm to 7am. This despite getting up off the sofa, going up the stairs, getting washed and ready for bed. I only really bought it as a means to silently wake me up for work, by way of its vibration function, to avoid waking the missus up. I also set an arbitrary target of 8000 steps per day which I pretty much never reach these days. That's working from home for you!

4 vs 5, easier charging, a barometer, and a few more activities... https://www.androidcentral.com/xiaomi-mi-band-5-vs-mi-band-4

I wouldn't say it was very reliable though. I'm up reading most nights and because there is little movement it registers it as sleep. Handy as an overall impression though.

Yes. Had my 4 for ages and the battery still lasts just under a month. I do t use it for much more than a watch and notifications to be honest.

My Google Pixel 4 died and after watching reviews etc, I bought this. It's actually the best phone I've had (had iPhone 11 Pro, Samsung note 10 etc) because of the price mainly. It has NFC, 128gb on mine (for £209 last year), comes with a case that I currently use, 40 minutes or so until fully charged with warp charger, it has around a 5000mah battery too so I charge mine every 2 days, really great camera using stock software. I've taken night shots using the "Pro" mode and it's as good as my other phones and better than my iPhone in many ways "due to iPhones lack of manual overrides), I play PubG on it, it's finger print scanner is as described, it activates with "hey Google" like my Pixel, 120hz screen...I can't fault it. No issues at all with it other than the fact that when you put the phone into dark mode, some text on an app or two is difficult to read.

If anyone know which phone is best for PlayStation remote play away from home? Apparently all Xiaomi phones are not supporting PS4 DualShock through bluetooth? I just try to connect redmi note 5 and 9 to WiFi at work but every 2 minutes kick's me out

Someone able to advise me on transferring data from my old phone, I think you do it through your google account, but will this transfer everything including my notes etc? Many thanks for any info.

I know someone else posted a comment sharing their wife's experience, though I had the complete opposite. Difference may have been however that I was on a computer. Site was easy to navigate. Easy to purchase and easy to find. I mean there was one instance where my card getting denied but my card company had texted me about fraudulent payment and it was a security issue. I wasn't looking at my phone then and wasn't expecting a text so I can understand that may have been an issue for some people. Though you cannot necessarily blame them if the issue was not on their end. Dispatch took quite a bit, but I bought it during their Black Friday sale so there was a lot of orders. When I enquired about my delivery (two phones) I got an instant message back saying that the items have been dispatched on my request mid-way through the text chat. Customer support was fantastic compared to other company's experiences. I had to wait more than 12 hours to get someone to pickup the phone from Vodafone back in May so I have absolutely 0 complaints.

Ordered for a present thanks

Guys, I bought one on mi Friday, delivered in a fews days, tracked on DHL. Used online chat to return it, put in a DHL locker, money was returned within a few days...seamless.

DopeyDunker

True. Some are so small you can't really see them. They had a great large multi-coloured one on the Redmi Note 4 and it's been slowly downhill since then!

Zooicidal

Tbh the Xiaomi phones i've had in the past with notification lights were so tiny i rarely noticed them anyway :)

Is the warranty on the phone and free earphones supposed to be 2 years Logged into account and says Item’s 15-day return period has been exceeded, can't select either return or replace greyed out, Been in touch on chat and they are submitting a ticket request to tech support to return to be looked at.

2_cool

0800 9160561. Ring them on that number. You will need your order number and product number. Most likely they will replace them.

Weimaraner

Earphones that came free have developed a fault , returns says expired, any way to get Xiaomi to fix these?

What secondary chargers are people opting for? With all the native Xiaomi fast charging stuff ideally (y)

Slow delivery.... Ordered my 8 pro on the 20th and still waiting for it to be dispatched 😡 I'm more annoyed due to all of the deals that I could've snapped up on Black Friday.

Thanks I've edited.
