What is the excess for any claim?

azzap

Any update?

HurricaneEvolution

Mine came to £10.13 with added home emergency. Paid via PayPal. Least I get 6 months free I guess.

dgsouliotis

I don't know actually. In the past when they've offered credit you've had to pay for 3 months to then get the credit but I didn't see any mention of such a thing this time. If I didn't already have insurance I'd click through to check I out lol

I've made a claim from these recently and it was fairly easy and quick. Quite high excess though but I am only paying £8 / month. No minimum contract, you pay monthly.

Just got paid by TCB £78.75 and paid three premiums of £4.50. The deal was rubbish but TCB made it a good deal if you ignored the HUKD sponsored deal. I did have to install the app to cancel, as the website doesn't offer login. Thanks mydealz for £61.50.

Anyone else have trouble with these guys taking an unexpected payment? I tried to take advantage of whatever the previous deal was on here a few months ago. Received no confirmation and when I tried logging in to the app it didn't recognise my email, so assumed it wasn't set up. I seem to remember there were some comments about people having trouble setting up. Then, yesterday, a payment has gone out of my account. will be calling them on Monday but just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue @Getsafe_CS

With what provider if I may ask?

Welcome to the risk assessment world, where cover for the 19 year old for one 125cc bike can cost £1000, while cover for 40 year old with 4 big bikes can cost £200 (total). It should be regulated much better for sure but for now it's certainly considered legal (even stuff they do with counting/not counting NCD and incidents).

Good find, thanks

Please ignore me, it's my bad. I thought I googled the right deal as I read that it was 2 weeks from signup (it's been longer than that) Their CS politely reminded me that it's 3 months from signup My apologies for not commenting this here (happened over the weekend), I've been a fool

Chanchi32

@Getsafe_CS please can you help with the query from @sa12e

Well, because to anyone with a half a working brain, that would obviously be far too expensive for them to operate, and then we'd all have to pay loads of money for insurance, just because a few dodgy / thick people can't answer a handful of simple questions...

cazsilver

Just had a payment go out. The credit must’ve run out. How do you cancel?!

118luke

And to me the insurance companies are equally as fraudulent there as someone who diddnt declare any previous claims. The insurance companies are happy to take the money upfront and give you the acknowledgement that you're insured. Its only when you attempt to claim that they investigate if theres any way to not pay out (such as an undeclared claim) and then tell you that your insurance is invalid and refuse to pay out. Why don't they do that straight away when the policy is taken out?

deleted341252

Forget counting small amounts, count what they pay out when you make a claim. If the house burnt down and you claim £100,000 how will they handle that? No point fighting over £10 now if they have no track record of paying out if the worst happens. I studied insurance a lot lately and found the cheaper the company the worst they were at paying out. I ended up going with M&S Premium for the extra peace of mind and includes a new for old policy. You need the best cover when the worse happens, DONT scrimp on the insurance and then find they found a loophole not to pay out - oh you had 3 points on your driving licence and never told us so we not paying your £100,000 does happen.

Jaxxersist

The lowest excess it’s giving me is £220. I’ve not purchased contents insurance before, but was looking on Admiral recently and although it was £10 per month, the excess was £100. What have others found? It seems if I don’t claim then this will be cheaper, but if I claim for something other than a full house load, Admiral would be the better option. Edit: It’s £10.60 per month anyway, am I missing the heat here?

Hi all, As a follow-up on the Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards from this promotion, please note that under 1% of the vouchers have yet to be sent, and all outstanding ones are now either in the post or on order. HUKD customers are encouraged to reach out to our customer service team by email (help@hellogetsafe.com) or via the app (under the 'Service' tab) for questions on the individual status of their order and gift card.

Still waiting on mine. They claim they can see on their system that they've sent it but have point blank refused to re-send it when I told them I haven't received it!

MrBeansDrivingInstructor

Hi Dan I am still waiting for the voucher a month on, and so is my sister for that matter. Emails and spam have been checked and double checked and vouchers have definitely not been sent. All they do is fob off, blaming it on coronavirus. Really? Is there someone sat in a little office going through each application manually? They dont know the meaning of "fintech"!

zcaprd7

I contacted them through the app... I had received the voucher ages ago by email, and simply forgot.
