Refurbished Should be in the title
Don't even bother getting it without the remote if you want smooth video to edit with....
You definitely want the remote. It's so much better with it.
That might be printed in the t’s and c’s but I was talking about real world and what happened when I actually used it.
I wonder how they define “region”. What about those who live in the UK but who bought from Amazon Italy
Taken from DJI FAQ. DJI Care Refresh and the corresponding product must be purchased from the same country or region. DJI Care Refresh only supports aircraft purchased from official or authorized channels, and its benefits are only eligible in the region where it was purchased. DJI will cover shipping fees only in the country or region where DJI Care Refresh was purchased. Otherwise, the customer will bear responsibility any shipping and customs fees caused by sending the product from another region. DJI has the right to refuse service in this circumstance. For the Mavic series and Spark,
I highly doubt DJI will feel threatened by Parrot.
Wait until Anafi comes out and then prices will drop on this.
How do you know he/she was doing it as a hobby?
Shame it's not at least 2.7k.... I just think I'd regret the 1080.
spark is a fantastic little thing providing much more than just a toy. But the RC is a must have.
Don’t waste your time on the spark guys. I have spent many hours flying the hantom and Mavic variants and spark. The range, battery life and gimbal on the spark are poor. You’d be better spending your money on a second hand Mavic IMO.
Some creep flew one over our garden yesterday, very weird hobby
Up to £450 now! Got mine this week, couldn't find a decent used one at this price. Thanks op, service from cvp was great.
Loving it- really surprised at the build quality and tech for the price, although you might be looking at the ex-VAT price?!
Hey @Stealth_Fox How did you get on with this? Any good? as I can see the price has dropped again :o
not sure how much you can get off, but now you can make an offer :)
I think someone posted a Currys deal that was cheaper but didn't have the controller. This one definitely does have the controller, as I'm charging it at the moment :D
Only takes a number of posts on the forum to qualify for free postage. Or at least it did when I had to do the same thing years ago.
I have this case looks amazing and everything about it is great - allthough make sure you have a lot of space as it is massive.
I'd rather go for the H500 for this price. Due out in a few days.
Nice deal, although my heart's set on the 440. Hate OC's rip-off delivery policy though.
I had this case. It's decent enough to work in and it's very flexible with the removable drive cages and fan controller. However, I eventually found the 'gaming armor', whilst it looks good, to be less than practical. It adds a lot of bulk to the case and you can't put accessories like a USB hard drive on the top as it's sloped. FWIW I paid £70 delivered in 2012.
Order has been dispatched! :)
A bit like Mad Max, I presume....
Id say its the 5th best in the main series. ;) (MGS1 to 5) This could have been a masterpiece, if Kojima got to finish this game and deliver the story telling we're used to.
Its terrible, now Snake Eater or even MGS1 they are good, seems I am in the majority when it comes to this game as well.. trying to make a TV Series out of a game, MGS was all about the cinematic experience the crazy lore and above all the stealth.. this game was a joke . And yes I have been a Gamer since about 1980
Semantics really... If you are a live subscriber and purchased this, you essentially would have an opportunity cost of £3.19. I didn’t realise people came here for educational purposes or meaningful discussions about what it “free”, but thanks anyway. Next month it won’t be “free” ;) or £0.00.
I too prefer digital. I am just explaining that these are different things. My issue is with the misunderstood concept of "free". If companies tells you something is free, you shouldn't just accept the premise and let them change the meaning of free. I don't even know if they call it free, but apparently that is the message some people seem to get in their heads, even though it is clearly wrong. There is NOTHING that is "free with" anything that costs money. It's either a service, a bundle or something like that.
You didn't even give my channel a proper look as you comment about 9 videos from Bournemouth where I have videos from other places like France, Poland and Colombia and a lot more closer to home. None of my video is of empty spaces. You arguments are mute. I get that this may come from a frustration that you can't do all you would like with your drone, but that's a price you have to pay for living in a organizer society.
There's obviously not much point in discussing this with you if you're just going to make the same points over and over again without listening to what people say. By the way, shocking as it seems, threre's more to life than what you see on YouTube :)
There’s a beautiful world out there, with no police or people.
You could be right but you can only record miles and miles of empty space before it gets boring. Like I said, just have a browse through youtube, as soon as the police catch you flying a drone in a populated space they either arrest you or tell you to put it away.
You seem to have an incredibly narrow and unimaginative view of what makes good photography and video. If you want to fly in public spaces all you have to do is get the necessary commercial qualification and insurance. The police will only arrest you if you're breaking the law and / or putting the public in danger, which is where most of the people flying over dense cities go wrong.
Thanks, I have ordered after reading your comment.
Just purchased one; much cheaper than buying 2nd hand. Managed to get free delivery so 549.00 all in with 12 months warranty according to the advisor and weblink.
In the Q&A it says the 3 month warranty is from DJI. That's very limited. > This listing is for the drone/controller only. We do not have specific details of the refurbishment as they are manufacture refurbished and we have numerous units that may differ in refurbishment. These drones come with a 3 month warranty direct with DJI.
I too am interested in this. I just bought one after months of holding it off. Also wondering what the warranty is gonna be like, Scan website says 3 months. The manufacturer's warranty should be 12 months no?
The Mavic air shoots 4k at 30fps.
Lol just sold my mavic air for £790 on ebay wasn’t even combo.
Do you have a link to this?
After having DJI refresh on my Pro and Air in recent years... this time I will just go with photoguard insurance which is £28 per year. From what I gathered on facebook, when people crashed their Mavic they got brand new replacements and Photoguard paid out with no issues/paid for any repairs. DJI Refresh is nothing more than an extended warranty and there are so many exclusions... IMHO photoguard cover plus insuring your drone under tech pack from Barclays or your own bank is more than enough. Regarding registering your refurbished drone, you can still get DJI care on a used unit, just have to record a video showing that it's fully working and upload it to DJI.
Good price for a fantastic phone. I can't belive that people still line up to buy overpriced Samsung
New , basically they are asking for registration
To get £20 off do you have to be a new customer or create a new account?
I opted for this over the free headphones.
No free headphones with this one?
by the time you buy a remote and 2 extra battery. the mavic air is not much more
Even from a European warehouse, it will still be Chinese stock. No EU warranty.
Select European warehouse and it’s £291.75
great price but you will have to send it back to China if its not a EU/UK model for warranty
Flight time less than 15 min
I like your style
1st time flyer, as well as my 14 year old son. My reason to buy was for his photography course at school, well, that's what I told the wife. 🙈🙉🙊
I’ve never flown one before so hoping I can get to grips with it in beginner mode.........it only has front and back sensitise doesn’t it? I didn’t realise the DJI care package has an excess for each replacement you claim. And more expensive for the second than the first. I’m not sure what extras I really gain with the care package over and above the standard warranty really
I've flown drones before.l flew the mavic pro for 4 months last year and the platinum for 2 months this year and now on the mavic air. I'll definitely take it steady with the air as its light and drifts a little. The sensors should of detected the wall but it was drifting side ways into it :D
Phew at least the drone wasn't damaged ;-) hehe Are you and Shaggy both first time drone fliers or have you flown others before? im testing mine out the weekend
I guess the platinum is a bit quieter than the Mavic Pro with Platinum props, but only at close quarters could you tell the difference - as soon as you get about 10 metres away of more you could not tell the difference.
From the angle in your avatar, where can we sign up? :)
And a blowjob every day! (devil)
Hi, thanks for the reply. So do you think apart from the flight time being a little bit more, the motors emit the same noise as in the pro, it's just the oscillation from the props? If so, then that makes my mind up, just to get the pro :)
Only go for the combo if - you need more than 1 battery (most will), you want the bag (which is useful) & you can get the combo for about £100-£150 more than the Mavic Pro on it's own; otherwise you can buy these parts easily & personally I don't need 3 batteries, 2 is enough. It's not really worth paying much more for the Platinum because you can buy the platinum props that give you much of the benefit of the platinum. I have a Plainum - it's great, but it's not really any different than the Pro other than the props & slightly different motors (& paint job)
Take it you mean battlefront? If so that's some pretty impressive stats, can't say I've played it since the second ones release but it still sound like there's a fair few that do.
Just taken from the online stats page... Currently online players PC: 584 (24h peak: 805) XBOXONE: 1,839 (24h peak: 4,268) PS4: 3,032 (24h peak: 4,691) Total: 5,455
Ordered Star Wars Battlefront for my lad. Thanks OP
Some think it's good but I thought the map size & player count reductions made the game too CoD-like. I'm no spring chicken so I like games that reward strategic thinking as I'm not going to win any fastest-finger-first competitions against teenagers, with my ailing reaction times (embarrassed) Blood Money is quite a good mode and Heist is OK but the other modes are dull. Having said that, I'd say that the campaign is worth the money alone and then you can make your own mind up about the multiplayer modes (y)
What's battlefield hardline like ? Is that the one with the good cop bad cop? Worth a few quid or is there better out there
It was for me until I added it to the basket to buy one. Went up to £949
Still showing as £845 for me
Looks like it's back up to £950
Ok sorry didn't know you would get into trouble for buying
John lewis will also price match with the two your normal guarantee. I have canceled my amazon order at this price and just bought from John Lewis
As long as your happy wi'it who cares! But PRO (on the left of the comparison) provides practically double the distance and I know which 1 I'd be happy to send off into the distance beyond This is why DJI give a choice.
I've not lost signal once. also you can do the hack to run it on FCC instead of the European CE. That doubles the signal strength.
'QUALITY' ..if your okay with Wi-Fi ONLY :S The PRO as the name implies is just that!
The Mavic Air is QUALITY, so easy to fly and also faster than the Pro in sports mode
...saying that the Air is said to be PANTS! Spend slightly more and get the PRO. (as I have done, even though I got 2nd hand for way cheaper than any deals)
