Hilton Hotel chain still stuck in the 80s

Sid.Harper

Also they are everywhere. When I used to travel for work it was my brand of choice. And diamond perks plus speed of earning points on promos excellent for when you use the points.

Uridium

You need to look out for the ones with an Exec lounge......If you have gold you can normally get an Exec room upgrade with Lounge access...free food and drink all day long and free alcohol from 6pm - 8pm (y)

Heat! Very good price for 5 nights in NYC on NYE

Zzzgabor

Only soft drinks and water are complimentary on Aer Lingus transatlantic economy, alcoholic drinks have to be bought. Could be relevant those who like an inflight tipple....

Zzzgabor

Not particularly cheap. Don’t expect any Hilton benefits unless you book direct. If you are going to book, at least click through to Booking.com from the Avios store website for extra avios. Alternatively If first time on Booking.com ask a friend for a referral code for £15 off.

It’s a good price from NCL.

Timmallet

I'm fairly unfamiliar with HUKD's but it seems to me the deals are rarely legitimate. I clicked on 'get deal' and cheapest offer from this hotel is £73 per person ... This happens with most 'deals'. Am I missing something?

Twyll

There's a Hilton in Shavland?

cibarious

Agreed, but I'd rather spell it Silicone. Best thing to do is slip in one side and straight out the other. XD ============================================== As to them calling the new shopping centre The Lexicon, the last time I looked a lexicon was a "collection" of words, not a "collection" of expensive shops and restaurants. The deal may very well be a deal (if you arrive with your eyes closed and never leave the hotel, except to go home) but, if this were my idea of a fun night away, I'd choose somewhere more pleasant for my treat, even if it cost a few quid extra?

"Bottomless bubbly available for 1.5 hours, subject to availability based on management discretion." So not bottomless then (but on the plus side, you can always claim that the manager has cut off your mum's bubbly supply as soon as it looks like she's going to try and start an impromptu mum karaoke sing-a-long.) Just thought I would add to this. I saved the offer but as I don't use AVIS I didn't think it would be worthwhile. I have booked and prepaid a non refundable room for January (well two rooms) each at £70ish. I've just had the email from Amex to say I've redeemed their offer and sure enough I have £20 credit on my Amex statement. As I have a couple of stays coming up I've registered another Amex and got the following confirmation when I did....showing you don't need to book both, just one or t'other.

+1. I also just bought this deal. I noted that the booking must be made via the link in the email which goes to the Buyagift voucher site. Bookings are currently possible up to 27 March 2017 and later dates will gradually open up. Amazingly it is available for lunch or dinner on every day each week. These are the key terms & conditions: - To book your experience, please note that you MUST book online via myvoucher.buyagift.co.uk - You also must take your Buyagift voucher with you to the restaurant - Your meal must be booked at least 24 hours in advance – the restaurant cannot accept walk up bookings with vouchers - Your voucher is valid for 10 months for two people - Minimum age 18 - This package is available for lunch Monday to Friday from 12.30pm till 3pm and for dinner Monday to Sunday from 6pm - Please note, this experience is not available on the 25th & 26th December, on the 31st December & on the 1st January - The restaurant can only accept a maximum of two vouchers (4 diners) per booking - You can choose a main dish from the a la carte menu up to the value of £28.00 per person and a dessert up to the value of £7 per person. If you would like a higher-valued item off the menu you are able to pay the difference directly to the restaurant - For the cheese platter there is a supplement of £3 per person payable to the restaurant on the dining date

You deserved to be robbed for having a bum bag in public! I hope they didn't nick your shell-suit jacket too!

Have to agree with you there. Public transport in the UK, when one considers value for money, is probably amongst the bottom 10% compared to the EU countries and I've been to a fair few. Kraków, as other large cities in the country, has first class public transport. A hell of a lot cheaper, definitely more punctual and cleaner, than what we have here in London.
