Motion is not great, judder on sports, more concerning is the judder on tv soaps where images are slow mov, the motion enhancer actually make it worse. This is on sky hd and also sky Q. No judder on built in apps like netflix and also blu ray seems fine. Weird. Think it’s something to do more with how uk tv is broadcast

ali13196

I am only advising from what I've read, people see these issues after 2-3 years.

leeroy112

Rubbish. I've currently 3 hisense tv's and no issues.. Family also have them. Do you think John Lewis or richer sounds would sell a brand that they lost money on with the amount of returns your indicating

ali13196

BE careful apparently hisense do not last many years so you'd need John Lewis customer gurantee of 5 years to sort you out

The issue with those though is due to the fact they are Vestels have a really poor OS. You need a firestick or similar so you really should factor that into the total price.

Would anyone have a resource to help set all the settings please?

Dave_Lamb

Yeah crazy.... Clueless.... I do believe out of the box performance should be measured but basic settings like contrast, brightness, colour temp and sharpness, can always be set without the need to for specialist equipment. The poor info they supply only hurts customers making the wrong decisions.

Anyone able to advise on the best 65" telly for around this price, or slightly more? Only for a bedroom, doesn't need to be the best picture/sound in the world, reliability and ease of use are more important. The catch is that I want one with a big gap and a step (like this one) at the back, rather than curved down, so there's space to slot the SkyQ box in behind it!

my mistake it was the 55 version.but price has increased from £330

chancooluk

I don't think there is a 58" 7500 model. At least not one that's on sale yet. The closest JL has to that is a 55" B7500, but it's £380, so more expensive.

tm266

John lewis has the much better model 58 7500 for the same price

hcc27

Funny there aren't any reviews on this TV, probably as it's a 2020 model. Costco has this slightly cheaper and with their 5y guarantee, but currently out of stock. HiSense makes value for money TVs, the 4K image quality tends to be exceptional for the price, though the usual caveats with peak brightness, HDR, motion blur, black levels etc. apply to any TV in this bracket. I'm very happy with mine, a 55N5300 now coming on to 18 months and used for a few hours daily which cost almost exactly this price at the time. Heated.

TV's back in stock but back to £379 hope they get reduced again auntie is on look out for a 55" TV with decent warranty

d_jumper

Got mine yesterday. After turning off all the image processing I’m really impressed with the picture quality. We only use apps to watch tv, (don’t even have an areal) and they all look great, especially Dolbyvision Netflix titles. Sound is a bit disappointing and the lipsync issues with Bluetooth don’t help. Looks like I’m going to have to invest in an optical soundbar.

Price gone up and out of stock hoping the deal comes back on when in stock

chesterfan52

Mine arrived, after a few bits of fiddling with settings, I'm really impressed, picture is sharp and vibrant on HD and 4K sources. Little bit of lip sync issues that was sorted through the settings and it was good to go. Tried Game Mode with Spiderman on PS4 and generally it looked very good. I'm very happy with it for the money

Thanks mate, can't see the deal. Guess its expired. Can you remeber what size it was? Ideally looking for a 50 or 55"

Ukguy101

How about the lg 6300 posted recently £180 i think.

PennyTrader

Strange that, I've got the 43" version of the 7500 and it's been fine, although it does have an issue in the middle of the night in that it lights up some attached USB backlights which I've had to disconnect, but apart from that picture is good and no issues with the WiFi etc

defgimp

I got this model recently and while it's ok, it does have some strange habits? It disconnects from the wifi daily, have to log in and connect to it again? It's got some weird auto dimming feature that I can't seem to turn off, makes one scene light and then darkens the next scene and then lightens up the next, etc?? Anyone else got one of these and does yours do that? :)

devs

Thanks guys, its for a holiday let and am on a budget - was ideally looking for around the £330 mark. :(

Berbatov

Thanks

Bouncypete

I'm really happy with it. The picture quality at home was better than the image that was playing in-store (Costco Executive membership ad & screensaver etc.) It's far, far better than the 50" FHD Panasonic that it's replaced the built in sound is better BUT that old TV was has really poor sound, hence I always used an AV amp and fully surround speakers. Have a read of this to help you decide what price point TV suits your needs. Particularly read the links 1 & 2 which explain panel types and HDR https://www.avforums.com/threads/my-best-value-tvs-2019-2020-edition.2259070/

Not clear why anyone wants a TV to light up to wall behind it. Best TV viewing is generally considered to be in as dark a room a possible.

sarathkoka

'm very confused what to buy at the moment! Do I buy this or a Philips TV with Ambilight? I watch a lot of football so would prefer to minimise the ball blur! Any suggestions with a budget of around £450? Hoping for 55" or 58" Not too bothered about sound as I have a soundbar and not bothered about SD upscaling. Any help appreciated!

no worries and tbh i probally wouldnt use it so i guess i will leave that out and just go without it :)
