Guys, for £300 you can get a proper and better one. Even if it is second hand. I know people think Anker is a good make and I agree with this, but still better brands out there. Got my 2nd hand LG PA1000 hd ready, 1000 ANSI, wi fi, etc for £100 on eBay. Barely used. If you really want one to have it in the house for as and when, you can get a rubbish Chinese one for £50. I think this one is nice but probably for £100-200, from £300 up you can get better brands with better specifications, don't think is worth to pay for the smart, novelty and wow factor.

NikLP

I'm surprised that Anker have even bothered to release these, they're normally so avant garde. This is a cool idea but the spec is pretty naff. The other one (I'm waiting to see if they do a new version) looks better for portability: https://www.anker.com/store/nebula-capsule/D4111111 but again spec is meh

Oh now I don’t know what I’m doing. Wasn’t aware MyMemory has also dropped. Will amend now. ;)

BuzzDuraband

Oh, I know you know what you're doing (highfive) It's £19.99 at MyMemory too mate.

mixmixi

Pretty sure I’m aware of that. :D But since very offers free C&C and not delivery I went with Base themselves as benchmark. Regardless, it shouldn’t be concerning. What you pay is most important not what the next best price is. (embarrassed) (flirt)

I think the next best price box should be £19.99, not £21.85, no? :{ Heated (y)

only just realised this is the second game and not the first (annoyed)

Franzkill

Any particular reason why the first game isn't being coupled with this too? Also would like to see the Twin Snakes remastered :)

Auric_Goldfinger

Although, if it's anything like Metal Gear cut scenes they're 'interactive'. So you may well be able to 'experience' them first person... (y)

Indeed. Just doesn't sound like something that would work in favour of vr immersion does it.

its a hideo kojima game of course its got tons of cut scenes (lol) (lol)

These bars are tiny. If this were America they would not dare to put such tiny bars in normal sized packaging. Seriously, it's like putting a child's feet into shoes 2 or 3 sizes too big for them. The gap between the length of the bar and the width of the packaging is outrageous.

Apologies, somehow quoted the wrong person's comment, you quoted the comment that referenced Unilever and when replying via mobile (for some reason the formatting is all squiffy) I've grabbed your comment but not the one it was in response to (which didn't seem to show up as a separate quote).

Stevejp

Had many a vet say to me that you never give your dog Dentastix unless it's a rare treat, they are so bad for them and fattening (despite the annoying advertising making it that it should some kind of 'daily health' product). I wouldn't eat a Mars Bar every day, why on earth would you expect your dog too!

Kookykat

I agree too ...I absolutely wouldn't feed my cats on the foods listed. However, they do get Dreamies as a treat & as a reward when playing with them. Dry foods crack off the dental plaques that can build up and cause decay and gum disease. Often the hidden sugars and ingredients in some less pro health foods, especially wet foods, are to blame for dental issues in cats and dogs. If you do convert to dry food feeding it is VITAL to ensure access to plenty of water. The first ingredient in most wet foods is actually water! I second the person who says people look at how expensive a sack of dry food so buy Whiskas etc not realising that it actually works out more expensive per day to feed their pet. I use the bottomless bowl program that petshop.co.uk operate but appreciate that it may be cheaper to source it elsewhere sometimes. At the end of the day it's about what you are happy to feed and prepared to give your pet. For me that is quality dry food. Hope that helps someone :3

Snomaes

I haven't a clue what you're talking about. I never even mentioned Unilever?

Glad you agree. But the two games that I enjoy and play more than once are actually Thumper and Keep Talk And Nobody Explodes.

mixmixi

You can keep your bet to yourself. ;)

mixmixi

I am sorry, I really don't want to sound rude but honestly are you basing you judgement on what people are talking about? Seriously. There is a list here. Do you have a few minutes spare to have a look at the titles? By this logic, I assume only PS4 games that may sound to be "essential" are COD and FIFA and possibly Fortnite (since it is not a novelty anymore) and PS4 does not have anymore games too.

leonbrown1984

I don’t understand your comment? 403 games does not make the vr an essential purchase? I bet you don’t have nor will have over 10 vr games? With any console it will always be quality over quantity and I’ve looked at that list and if I’m being honest only about 5 of them would be of any interest to me. So for that reason I wouldn’t buy a £200+ console to play glorified tech demos

leonbrown1984

Yes ash Your comment are my thoughts exactly, 403 vr games? That’s weird because the only ones I hear anyone going on about are resi 7, and wipeout. I know doom and Skyrim are out too but Ive not heard them to be essentials. I also think a lot of them games are like demos and are novelty titles with very little serious gaming input.

Just got this deal, they were completely out of stock of the standard pizzas in my local store, but the deal was still showing around the store and the staff honoured the stuffed crust version in place of the standard pizza. Cannot fault Co-op's service. Thanks for sharing the deal.

nik1

Thanks OP..... when I got there everything else was in stock except pizzas.... Not to be outdone I asked the staff and they had more out back.

nougat

What are you? a chicken or a wedge?

will.duddle

It's not as if you have to eat it all at once (although you can of course if you want to). My wife and I normally share a pizza for a meal probably with a few of the wedges, the chicken poppers will be shared together for another meal with the remainder of the wedges, the garlic bread will be a few slices each at a time with a plate of bolognaise, and the 4 ice creams will again be shared, meaning we can have dessert/a snack twice each. It's all frozen stuff so it will keep for ages. A fiver for 2 meals for 2 people plus extra sides and snacks is amazing value, thanks OP!
