I've had he same issue with a controller for the spark.Couldnt calibrate it due to the left hand stick not moving all the way over to the left.I was smart I bought from Amazon and their customer service was 2nd to none.I also only paid £438 for the fly more combo.
Ordered a DJI Spark from eGlobal Central last week, arrived yesterday, all completely genuine, new and sealed. No issues at all.

Quickest way is to buy another one from Argos and swap the controller and take it back for a refund.

Try to cover everything in one video. The packaging, any paperwork and then the faulty controller not doing what it's supposed to do. As mentioned, it is the norm with Chinese companies. Hopefully you get things sorted.

Was it for Spark? I guess if they are based in China, this is a normal practice. I bought few things from china and when they did not work, I had to video it and upload on you tube.

Only problem is that you deal with new person every time and you have to explain things again and again before finally someone take a notice and refund you.
good luck mate.

Unpacked it today. Very impressed! Too windy though to take it out so waiting for some nice weather.

Haven't looked into it yet but it has an auxiliary port for a camera so presume you can bolt one of theirs on after if you don't fancy fitting a gopro (clone) on there.

Came with 4 spare blades and a few screws but other than that assembly was done in 10 mins.

Wish I could have bought two and given one as a gift

Horses for courses I suppose. But based on the specification I can’t imagine the air giving you the “ bloody hell that’s incredible” you get with the Mavic the first time you fly it.

I'd go for the Mavic based on flight times and size. Flight times may not be critical between the two initially however as the batteries age your wish you'd had the higher capacity.

You know I might have gone for that; two things made me discount it and they may have been unnecessary distractions: it's called Bugs 2 so I thought it was a lower-spec stablemate of the Bugs 3, which doesn't have GPS, and secondly I didn't see it with tall undercarriage so I couldn't see how a camera could be slung underneath. Now I have had a look I was wrong on both assumptions so you may be onto a winner there!

I agree totally, unfortunately the UK Government doesn't. The rules as they stand make little sense.

There is no distinction in the current rules for a small light weight toy, and the very heavy Watchkeeper drones the RAF use.

I have had mine about 4 months and use it as often as I can.

I do a lot of walking and take it with me, and get some great shots of the scenery up here. I took it to Glencoe a few weeks ago and its was excellent flying conditions. I also do a lot of wild camping in Scotland through out the summer months and cant wait to take this with me this summer.

Still the best little quad to learn on. Decent battery life, cheap parts, handles ok outside.
You see people go straight to a phantom or mavic and then panic when it loses GPS and goes to manual control because they don't have a clue on how to fly without the computer doing the work. Learning on something like this is essential, plus you get pretty good at soldering those fiddly motors.

This looks so similar to the Mavic. Good price for what you get.
Ordered one at £28.40, can't go much wrong at that price.
Anyone else got there's yet ? Is the camera any good (the lesser of the two). How's the battery life ?
No mention of sd card slot though.

80-100m range, headless mode Yes, return to home function Yes, remote included Yes. Seems good for a starter drone
