Looks like it's back to 18 for prime now. Pretty sure I owned one. Didn't last any longer than the other trimmers I've owned, blades go dull after about a year's use.

Gordinho

I'm confused. Voted hot though.

DocDock

I've got one, had it for years. It's well worth the money, the one thing I will say is if you're looking for a beard trimmer for longer beards, I wouldn't recommend this as it trims quite close to the face, even on the longest setting with the guard. You're probably better off using a set of hairclippers with a guard. That being said for the money you can't go wrong with these.

Master0fNone

I should add that it glides through the pubes like a gazelle over the Serengeti

crazy_kalz

Great beard trimmer. Previous one lasted me 5 years but I used it at least twice a week for head and beard. So at this price point it would be rude not to order!

Any guides to cutting one's own hair? What's the set up? Thanks

noort81

Thanks for the advice and tips. I’ve ordered these to use on my 9 year old son, hope they don’t ‘pull’ as some of you have suggested- he won’t be happy! Cheers

MoreBeer77

Bought these and cut my own hair for the first time ever, not just a buzz cut either! Did a brilliant job! Paid for themselves after 2 cuts. Really good quality, easy to use, lots of videos on YouTube on how to use these to cut your hair. HEAT.

vanessaanne

I had to send these back and get refund they were the worst clippers I ever bought. I bought a Wahl set from Tesco for £11 and they were better they aren’t as fancy looking but they don’t pull your kids hair out. Or vibrate more than any other clippers. If you have arthritis or anything in your wrists these are not for you. I’m sorry to put a downer on you deal but I always have relied on the honesty of everyone on the site xxxx Edit I did pay £18 for my pair of amazon so this is a great price xxx

david_wavid

These pull my hair. ;(

Fantastic price for great straighteners. I have a pair of the original GHDs which are brilliant however i purchased these Remingtons for relatives aboard and they were so good that i actually brought another pair for myself. They are lightweight and work really well on curly hair

becca161100

I'm on the look out for new straighteners. I'll only use Remmington. Can't fault them. I've never tried GHD's but the amount of ppl that comment Remmington is on par in reviews is very high.

sazal

I have had mine for 4 years. I use them to curl my hair aswell asweell as they are curved and they are really light too. But the writing has eroded away but it doesn't affect its use :)

Sparkley123

Originally there was nothing like ghd's which is why they really took off I guess, people hadn't come across straighteners like them so they were blown away and they did do an amazing job - so when you think of straighteners i guess ghds will always be up there with the best.. and to be fair i can't knock them they cost a lot but i have got value for money out of them as they have lasted me years and do a great job. You're right though that now with so many cheaper alternatives that are just as good, like these, there's really no point in spending so much anymore (although obviously not sure how long these will last) - you got a super bargain for them though :)

sazal

I have these, i brought them for 15 from Amazon at one point. I loved them and ended up buying 5 more for friends and family. But then again i have never used GHDs i can't imagine what more they would do compared to these. I guess it might just be a brand thing?

I got these off the argos outlet on eBay, the eBay 15% off the other day tempted me enough to try them and glad I did, they're great for the cost! They're a curved shape which is great if you're like me and use your straighteners to curl your hair with too! (y)

ktelliemollierylie

I love these straighteners you won’t be disappointed with these if you buy them.

ScorchingHot

I’ve also got some Remington & they’ve lasted forever! The cable is a bit knackered now though so maybe time to buy these!

Would these be any good for cutting a little boys hair? He normally has a number 2 back and sides, and a 7 on top. He sits very still for hair cuts, so exploring the idea of cutting his hair myself at home. If not, please could I have some recommendations for a good set of clippers. Thank you in advance!!

dazcan21

Anybody already owning the cordless MODEL HC-365 but need new combs/attachments,these will fit,and as the combs/attachments alone for the cordless are more than this full package its the cheapest way to get some.Bonus as well is these combs are better made than my original ones that came with the cordless and you have a spare clipper to boot.win win.

Star-Lord

I bought it at this price a few months back and it's great. Honestly, for the price, it's a bargain! Do it (nerd)

Just came here to post this, have had one for at least 5 years probably longer battery needs charging after every shave now but figured a new one with new blades might be worth it at this price. Will see how it goes if its not an upgrade i'll send it back.

tailor313

I ended up with the MB4045. Not as good as this in terms of look or build quality but the battery life is a justifiable upgrade. I did pick it up for under £20 last year from Argos in the sale.

croz123

I have had mine for I think 2 years no battery problems here.

wwemaniafan

Had this before then tried others. This wins hands down. Purchased another, thanks OP!

gloxton

I opened my old one and think it should be possible to replace the current batteries but when I took into account the cost of the new batteries, soldering iron and the waiting time for delivery I just decided to buy a new one.

Looks good. I usually have the back and sides of my hair cut on No2 guard then trimmed on the top, would this be ok for that sort of cut or is it only for shaving your head? I notice it's out of stock now though. :(
