Does the Board Game come with Scrabble score cards in the box?

I'm reading the correct reviews. Go to filter, and choose this version, it will show you only reviews for this. No need to shout! I also own this version, it's all cheap thin card, you have to pop out the letters yourself, it's just really poor quality compared to the regular Scrabble. At the original price it's disgraceful, at this price it's ok though, but if you already have the regular version, you can play these rules using the better tiles and board Only trying to point out that it's nothing like the quality of regular Scrabble, as I didn't realise and was really disappointed It's definitely worth a fiver, so it's still a deal

Got this at Christmas not great in bigger groups but ok 2-3 players

You could get the rules and use a timer on your phone but you'd have to have little versions of the scrabble grid printed out then use pencils and erase them each time the word for the master board was settled on, I suppose you could do it if you were that determined to. I think the quantity of letters is the same as the standard board

dlm136

Surely if you have the original board game you could play this anyway? Just use paper instead of the wipe boards

rqmusicfan

I quite enjoyed this version as an alternative to regular scrabble, you're all competing on creating the best word from each set of letters so it's a bit more of a competition on a level playing field. Everyone scores what they would have got depending on where they would have placed their word, but only the top scoring word goes down on the master board and then play for the next word is laid based upon that. I found it took longer than regular scrabble not using the sand timer but I think having the time limit would be annoying (for me at least) My only criticism really is that the wipe clean boards are a bit of a pain to wipe clean, and the tiles are cardboard, the game mechanic however is pretty solid.

Most of teh bad reveiws are for the travel version, and this version at full price, worth a stab for a tenner I would have thought. Sure you could play this remotely also for a bit of fun
