Honestly lad, you can't still be that triggered by a comment that had fk all to do with you, can you....
Great comeback. 10/10. Happy Easter buddy (y)
No need for the essay, don't try so hard.
Good morning. Perhaps the 750g was in store, maybe 700g. Anyhow, the op clearly states it was marked up £2 in store, when scanning at tills it went through as £1. Sounds like a nice deal to me. I've never heard of heron foods, but just searched and the nearest store is 14 miles away, poundstretcher is also too far away. Poundland is nearby so this is ideal. Regarding the weekly shreddies deals no I'm sorry to say I haven't seen them as I only joined a week ago. It's important to remember that "the rest of us" implies everyone else knows. They clearly don't. So if a recurring post brings deals to the attention of just one more person, it means the site is fulfilling its purpose of bringing the best deals to the masses. But thanks anyway.
The deal doesn't even make sense. The box Poundland sells is 750g and has been sold for £1 for the past year at least. It's also sold for £1 at Poundstretcher and Heron Foods. So not only did they balls up their own "deal" but it's a price the rest of us have been paying for months now. Sucks for you if you've been spending extra, do you not see the weekly Shreddies posts on here?! :/
Popped into Iceland today and saw these. Shreddies are my favourite cereal of the moment so picked up a couple of boxes, excellent price.
I bought these today from Heron (Beverley) for 89p, BBE March. 675g
the 89p ones are a 400g box, I prefer Tescos own at £1.30 for 750g
Sure I see these @ 89p in heron today
Nice price - though they'd still only last 5 minutes in this house :D Thanks for sharing @Caroline_1993
Wish id ordered more now
Just got mine delivered from tesco and it came with a free star wars light saber bag clip which i think makes this a fab deal 😊. Heat added.
415g box used to be 500g. 675g box used to be 750g. Shrink the box. Drop the price. Get the sale. Raise the price back. Noone knows the difference?
What is it with cheap Shreddies in the Supermarkets at the moment have the Nanna's knitted to many? Great price thou - Heat, Just beats Sainsbury's and Morrisons who are currently £1
Just seen these for 30p in my local Poundstretcher. Same date.02/18.
Main stores are now trying to get £2 minimun for 750g. Its joke what this country has become. Everything's gone up to pay for the ridiculous minimum wage.
Surely they can't taste any worse.
My granny knits these. Mmmm locks up hunger til lunchtime. (strong)
Keep trying as regards the store where it has "never" been in. I've had the same experience with my Tescos. One of my Tesco Extras had a product that was never in the other. The product then vanished from the store that had had it and I haven't seen it there since. It is now available in my other Tesco Extra which had never had it before*. If it's the same with Aldi - and as far as I see there is every reason to believe that all supermarkets will be the same - it could well appear in the store it's never been in before at any time. You could just be unlucky. Products appear, sell out completely then SELs are taken away leaving you thinking the store has never had them because, when you visit, there is now no trace. *This after several weeks of no trace, at the times at which I happened to be visiting and looked, in both stores.
May not be in all stores. Sold out in one of my local stores and never in the other.
My favourite cereal of all time! Usually get these in Aldi every time I’m there and when they have them but I’m pretty sure they’re normally £2 each. Even better @ £1.49!!
Very tasty, my kids love these. Thanks op
It seems I do! XD
and hessle rd and analby rd and willerby ......you need to get out more......😁
:o I can't believe all this time I didn't think there was one! Thankyou (y)
there is a poundstretchers in hull its on preston road
All seem like a good price for a ridiculous amount of sugar ;)
675g in Waitrose for £1.69 less 20% on Pick Your Own ;) (Doing the maths, the same as 500g for £1 in Poundland)
It's 90p in my poundland ;)
Always snap these up, tasty snack, anytime of the day :)
Do sensible people buy this for £1.84? Each box is around half a serving. Kellogg's claim a serving is around 30g then supply bowls with 3x the capacity to encourage people eating 3x the recommended serving size and sugar. Shame on them.
I bought some in poundland last week
Done...now reduced to 50p.
Dec 2017 expiry date on them. Ok if u eat them quickly
Bloody hell, talk about inflation!!!
Made a separate trip and they’re triple the price in store, much like the Tesco Chestnuts offer. I’m getting pretty sick of retail outlets and supermarkets advertising false prices online to lure people in to the store. I can’t even calculate the time I’ve wasted over the years (annoyed)
£50 is there a free iPhoneX inside
These are £2 even though the website says £1 RIPOFF (poo)
Cheeky buggers. I saw these a few months ago, alongside the 500g which is also for sale at £1. I thought, 250 extra for the same price, what the hell? Took it to the cashier and she charged me £2 each. Put it right back and got the 500g.
Yes, you are right - they are £2 in Exeter as well. Picked up a pack of 4 Cadbury desserts (buttons, etc) from the fridge last night. Thought it was quite a bargain for £1, until I noticed a price card saying £2! It's the first time that I have ever noticed that they have sold items in the fridge for more than £1. I'm sure that a lot of people get caught out - especially the elderly whose eyesight might not be too good - I think that they should rename the store as it is has not been entirely Poundland for some time now.
They say , £1 but its £2 when u go to shop :|
Great deal. I normally munch a whole bix at the cinema. I've got one stashed away to take to the new Star Wars movie.
They are a good price although been in local Poundland where I live for a long time... Can't see why people wpuld pay the 'usual' price...
Yep have been for a long time now...
£1 in poundland Cold
bite size shredded wheat too! At least they were yesterday (£1.25)
Hope you have a great day!
How do you start a breakfast race? Ready, Shreddie, Go! My sincere apologies.
Brill ,scorchio,these are £2 in Tesco for a 415g
For those of you who were unsure we have now had it confirmed we are in November 2017.
Dated November 2017? We are in November 2017 bud. Cold from me as I can just buy an unexpired version from Tesco's for a pound.
Not really a good deal when anyone can go into Poundland and buy two 500gr boxes for £2 and save 50p Most times of the year8)
Wish they'd stop messing around with the sizes of these. And if price inflation means they need to shrink the package size, why then are they constantly on special offer!?
What was 500 g is now 415 g. Shrinkflation at work.
85g stolen by nestle, eat well for less found tesco and morrisons own brand better in the taste test than these, only waitrose were worse
Love the frosted one
Reduced from 500g to 415g, that’s 2 servings they’ve taken out the box, absolutely disgraceful (annoyed)
Getting smaller !
Always same price in poundland with bigger box
Yeah, also the small box which was 500g is now a ridiculous 415g.
675 g ??? Shrinkflation at work here... large box of Shreddies was 750 g until recently.
Thanks summer. 8)
Heat added :)
