Yeah, if you read some previous posts on here, people had a nightmare. Also check out Bodum on TrustPilot. Not good. :o I had a good experience though and it is good that you have too. I'll see how today's purchase I made goes. Enjoy your purchase. (y)
I didn’t know about their past reputation but I have to say the products were dispatched promptly and arrived only a few days after ordering. Very happy with them all
They do have a bad reputation but I risked it and bought from them in February and had a good experience. Items came from abroad. They have just started dispatching items from the UK instead of abroad now so hopefully that will improve things too. I have just made another order so I will see. :)
Mine arrived today. Really happy with it and good quality.
Good as present 🎁

Ordered this - last time I broke a glass it cost close to this price to get a new glass from supermarket. Double skin inusulation is a bonus. Great deal even when you take the £2.95 postage hit. I did not find enough other things n the site to reach the freepost level (£49 I think?) - somehow I don't find the need for mirrored tissue boxes or pussycat loo roll holders.
Sounds logical, although I do love to watch the color change in glass as the liquid gets darker.
It's insulated and, obviously, less fragile.
These are incredible! You won't go back to instant coffee.

It is a finer grind than other brands i have used, but it does work equally well in both, if anything i tend to use slightly less in the cafetiere than the other brands, and maybe a slightly heavier tamp but only minimally so, and not even sure it's needed, in the san marco, your points would normally be valid, but for some reason this grind appears to do the job in both.
OK - That's odd though, you'd think a decent machine would expose weakness. I guess it can't be a cafetiere grind then which would invariably give serious overextraction in an espresso machine and taste like pond water. Looks like it's academic now though.
I'll be trying this one soon...
They should work in an aeropress. Usually cafetiere grind is coarser than what you would use in an aeropress but you could just steep the ground coffee and hot water together for a little longer than normal to compensate.

Argos Home 3 Cup Plastic Cafetiere - £4.69 / £8.64 delivered at Argos£8.64Argos Deals
Was looking for a Cafetiere and this seems to be reasonably priced and on offer. 4.69 Click n collect or £8.64 delivered at Argos
Always worth checking a charity shop near you for these, my local one has about half a dozen bodum ones at £1-£2 each, pretty much brand new, people seem to buy them and never use. Save money and helps charity too!
Agreed friend, if you read my first post this is only in store. I am unable to edit my post. This post has been edited by the #moderator that the click and collect is available. He refuses to allow me to make changes :)
I think I've seen a small one in Morrisons for £4 too
I have one of these, does the job, doesn't get grounds in my mug when I use it correctly. Reminder that a "cup" is not equal to a "mug" and this will only give you one standard mug's worth of coffee. So if you're going to be brewing coffee for more than one person, go bigger (y)
I'm going to be one of "those types" having just started using an Aeropress..... GET AN AEROPRESS!!!! They're amazing....
Got one exactly the same as this from Morrisons the other day for £4
what size cup 1 standard mug is 0.35L

Bought exactly the same one from Sainsburys for £10.00. Its quality product. Had it for a year now and its not rusted at all.
That Amazon description is laughable... This is a cafetiere, it makes black coffee. I can't make a latte or cappuccino. I have a very similar Andrew James cafetiere, and it's great. For less than 15 quid this is a good buy.
