Materials: 958% Polyester, 5% Elastane With almost ten times the amount of polyester, it must be good!

Spring or early autumn, good for descents, keeps the chill off

I’ve ordered one, what type of year would you take this out with arm warmers? just trying to get an idea on when to use this opposed to a rain/wind jacket

Great jersey to have in your back pocket with arm warmers cover for all eventualities. It’s racefit and no pockets.

If you are thin enough, then yes

Good time to be buying now as the new seasons gear is out so get a bargain on the old seasons. I always buy this time of year as the other half commutes to work on his bike and I a… Read more

Thanks OP, got the Blackburn lights (front one at 75 Lumens is stronger than I need for commuting in London) but can't fault it at £4.50!

Tredz are also doing the OnGuard Brute for similar. This is a 16mm as opposed to the 14mm but doesn't come with a cable. Decent prices across the range! I've got the Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit Mini which is ace. However, luckily I no longer live in London and commute to a secure site so my spidey-sense is dialled right down.

Ah the one I have is 14mm (see here: I wrote one of the reviews but just noticed I've only had the lock 4 years, not the 5 years I stated above. But yes, you can get locks that should be even more secure but they usually weigh more, cost more, or both. For me, the above lock has sufficient security (I think it's Gold standard) and still be convenient enough for everyday use. And a very reasonable price of course! But everyone's requirements and budgets are different.

Read the ops comments hence my comment, being smart I bought mine in spring early summer (strong)

Only 13mm though. I'd be wary of using it as a primary lock on anything worth a few bob. This is a fantastic no-nonsense list of the top locks you can get. Well worth bookmarking:

The above is the ones I mentioned and refer to (most do have lights tbf), mongo's of the highest order, and where I live a lot of them are what I'd call professional cyclists, not kids or even commuters. I do cycle so I'm aware of both sides but some cyclist seem to think they are invincible and have no regard for their own safety, I have no feelings towards them hurting themselves but I feel for their families.

Because there are a proportion of drivers that irrelevant of what the danger ahead is, are on their phones, not paying attention and the excuse is I didn't see them and laying the blame on the vulnerable road user. As a cyclist I actually wear this jacket, I have 1000lm front and 300lm back lights but I hear the same attack at cyclists again and again. Cars are weapons and drivers are in charge of them. The mentality is "bloody cyclist". There are definitely bad cyclists but equally and probably more so bad drivers. But a bike is 10kg and can inflict little damage. A car at 1500kg+ can destroy a house, let alone kill a pedestrian/cyclist. This isn't a dig at you but more an opportunity to raise awareness. The campaign "think bike think biker" for motorcyclists targeted drivers to think and stop at junctions and double check before pulling out. Motorcyclists don't get as much flack for not wearing reflective gear but they can go 70mph, a cyclist will generally max out in mid 20's. If a driver is not seeing cyclists, slow it down and pay attention. If they are on a bike, in black without lights in pitch darkness then they are one of the irresponsible lot and are taking their life into their own arms. I don't recommend that at all.

As a cyclist I'd want to be seen, if I'm not seen ultimately it's going to hurt at least, if I'm not seen in a black car then it's unlikely to hurt as much. Why would having a high visibility car mean we could pay no attention to the roads and be on FB?

If only they did them for black cars too. Then we could all be on Facebook and pay no attention to the road ahead

Good cycling jacket. Might be a bit sweaty for some but good for being seen on commutes. There is a £43 for XXL as well

It is but looking like a gloworm just save your life

That is expensive for non breathable jacket. For that money it should be breathable and waterproof. Yes its reversable but still not worth that. You can get "boil in the bag" jackets like this for a LOT less. Got one very similar for £10

Only small at £54.71 now. Other sizes more expensive.

Seems expensive to look like a glowworm... :/

used once, like wearing a bin liner... breathable!!! not sure about that... spoke to Endure, they said you need the right base layer underneath to wick. I only did a really short ride, was soaked. My previous jacket was Gore, I could wear an array of tops underneath and cycle 50+ miles and not get sweaty. I always put my phone in a sandwich bag in the rear pocket to protect it from rain, when I took it out of this jacket it was dripping. Doesn't perform as described so sending back, think I would rather spend £100 on something that actually worked!

Well first wear it’s ok, worth the £40 , it’s a bit boil in the bag (10-12 degrees) after a long uphill climb a few km and 100m+ I was hot, the arms don’t breath well, it then chucked it down for 5 mins and it’s definately waterproof, even my phone in the pocket didn’t get wet, the front doesnt sit great, think I.ll stick to my gore as element wind stopper for general wear, unless it’s hammering down and I.ll wear thi

Can't see any deal here. Need to register first. Which I have done in the past. But it's decided it wants a fresh set of details now to sell on to some fraudsters no doubt.

but you'd register here just to post comments and zero deals? :/

Agree that the sites register/login set up could do with revamping. It's fogotten my details atleast 3 times over the years. It is worth persisting though. It's a bit like hutukdeals for sports gear. Loads of good stuff on there.

Used this site many times, always been a good experience. Good discounts, good communication, great service.

I do question the logic of making it so difficult to simply have a look. Seriously - what is the point of making it "members only"? I mean, what benefit is gained that outweighs pssing off everyone else???
