Oh no may have to go now. Never heard of it and not too far

Not that great. Tickets valid until 15th April, discount applies to on door admission prices, £19.99. For 3 people will be £60 -20%= £48. If you pre book on internet, no discount, normal price £17 per person, so £51 for 3 people. I rather pay £3 extra on line and no discount and go during the summer. However, effort appreciated.

Is this about Australia, or that awful man?? (angel)

Nothing says I love you mum like a visit to Diggerland....

Always thought Diggerland was another name for Australia.

So what is the price?

Sounds like the Devon one is better, then.

We went to the Durham one. To be honest, we did agree that if we had paid the ticket price we would go home thinking we'd not got our money's worth (as the tickets were bought for us) and I don't think we could spend a whole day there, not even in summer. I agree though it completely depends on children and their ages, ours are 3&7. It was bloody freezing too! Don't get me wrong, it was enjoyable but short lived. Might just be my kids lol (embarrassed)

Ok, I appreciate it depends on the ages of the kids and perhaps which park you visit. I haven't been for a while, but the Devon one had mini diggers that even my 6 year old could drive around and 4x4 Mitsubishi Shogun that my older ones could drive themselves. Then there were also indoor sms outdoor play areas. Certainly enough for a good few hours, but I did question whether I would pay the full entry price.

Yeah but once you've done that then there's nothing much else different to do apart from dig another hole or get spun around by another digger. Just giving our honest opinion!

Went to the Kent one. My 3.5 year old (98cm) loved it. He had to sit on our laps for most rides but really enjoyed himself and keeps asking to go back. It is relatively small but a nice day for little legs, not too much walking. You can see charts online of what child can go on by height. I can see why lots of people want to go here! And we will be going back!

Appalling bad day. Very expensive for what it is and little to do. Even my easy going 4 year old was bored. So many other options fvailable for entertainment I just don't see why anyone would go here (sepecially after you've been once).

http://www.yourvoucherbook.co.uk I know some folk won't want to buy but there really is some savings to be had.

Your entertainer Tees Valley edition bogof coupons for entry amongst other attractions in area and some nationwide ones too.

Recently went to the one in Kent. A really great day and superb value for money. No queuing to get on anything. I had a two and four year old with me both over 90cm. Plenty of things they had to sit out our laps for but that didn't make any difference. A really unique day out. If you averaged the cost over how many diggers etc we drove it probably worked out about £1-£1.50 for each so not expensive.

That was probably the 11p tickets, can't see there being too much of an issue this time.

not worth it ? its a great day out for the kids, and £9.99 is very good value.

I seem to recall it being a bit of a fiasco last time they had a half term special offer tickets.

We've done this for the last two years in Exeter as well - I know that one of the years it was absolutely freezing (and windy) though - think it was the year before last - you definitely need to dress up warm.

we went to the Exeter one last march and had a good time. wouldn't pay full price but good deal at half price

Nope, you're close but it's not right

oops i misread the title there, to be fair that would make a good theme park too

Went to the Castleford one - it's ****. It advertises that it's for young and old - however the only accessible diggers are the smallest ones and even they are hobbled in some way (e.g. the ones you can actually dig with can't drive back or forward nor can you swivel left and right too far). Other lowlights include the digger with several rows of benches that go up....stay up for a few minutes and then go down again, or my personal favorite, the 'Safari' which consists of a battered Toyota Landcruiser driving down a dirt track (no proper off roading), past various cardboard cutouts of animals. On the plus side you could go in a full size digger at a measly £150!

One thing I miss about the children being grown up now, my yearly trip to Diggerland..... Great day out. Think we used Tesco Clubcard points tho??

You are deliberately missing the point that March isn't peak season. There's no point in continuing to argue with you . Voting cold because you got it cheaper off peak proves you are an idiot. Just another statistic on my ignore list. Good bye.

I don't think they are open at Christmas. I had a great time with my family in March. Merely pointing out that I paid much less than this offer. After all hukd is all about getting the best deal for your money. And just for reference i am not an idiot, just a normal person who likes to get the best for his money. Which I have.

Just because it's school holidays does not make it their peak season. It's mainly outdoor activities, so their peak is the time of year when it's usually nice enough weather to be worth going AND school holidays - ie summer hols and May bank holidays. December 27th-31st is school holidays too. Do you think that's part of their peak season as well just because it is in the school holiday? Idiot.

Was the school holidays, but hey if that's not peak what is.

Best of luck in queues

Diggerland are going to sell tickets for 11p on Tuesday 15th March, They will be for entry on Saturday 19th or Sunday 20th March.

Yeh people on facebook saying they needed 2-3 and got 6 anyway

Wish I hadn't voted this hot in advance of the day - may have alerted less people!

Do you think people really were buying more than they need? You could only buy 6 as far as I could tell, which is the exact number I need with 4 kids. Better check eBay - I wonder what the mark up will be, or should I go along Saturday and Sunday morning looking for the tout on the corner by the entrance?

It was a joke trying to get though. That's an hour of my life I wont get back!!!!

Castleford today was rainy to start, but still a grin a mile wide. Not too busy until after lunch, and then hardly any queues. The staff were brilliant. We stayed for 6 hours lol

At diggerland Durham at the moment. Really impressed with it. Well worth what we paid and haven't had to queue for anything. Our little boy thinks it's great!

We've been to Devon and Kent, loved them both (weren't expecting to enjoy it, it was a treat for JcB hooked son) but found Devon better at letting all people in the q have a turn driving. At Kent only 1 person per group was able to drive.

we went last year when it rained kids still had a great day

we went to Yorkshire one yesterday on this offer for my son's 10th birthday we had a fantastic day car park was full yet hardly qued for anything

I believe your deal was for online pre-booked tickets, and this is a printable voucher that people can use in person. Just an alternative way to the same discount, then people can use whichever is most convenient for them. :) https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/diggerland-summer-offer-15-off-when-book-online-2250541?p=25620031

Nobody wants them?

See my post above. I have 4 tickets for Yorkshire for Sunday 22nd February that I bought by mistake, if you want them for that price. Thanks, Tarit.

Nothing left for Yorkshire :-(

jo1818 and secsteel, I have 4 tickets for Yorkshire for Sunday 22nd February that I bought by mistake (meant to get Kent!) A couple of people have said they wanted to buy them off me but neither has confirmed yet. If they don't get back to me by the end of today maybe one of you could have them if you want them. Tickets are still available but it's saying the sale is now over? How long was it for???

Seems to have finished now all sold out

When I went I thought it was awful, especcially as I paid full price, for £5 its probably worth it. Its quite small, well theYorkshire one is anyway!

I really wouldn't bother going. We went on a full price day (which is WAY over priced but we had no vouchers) it wasn't busy at all but we were still queuing for half an hour at each ride. Some of the smaller diggers were closed because the 'earth wasn't favourable' , the large digger lift ride had a puncture and they didn't have all the vehicles working at the other attractions to compensate for that either. I have no idea how they cope when they do these special offer days. Plus the first things you're greeted with at the Yorkshire park are coin operated rides.

got the deal and looking forward to tje experience as are my children.

Misunderstood me. Hardly an added bonus because there is nothing for them at Yorkshire.

They all operate a kids under 90cm go free: Link

Went to the Yorkshire one yesterday. Mega queues by lunchtime but still had a great time for the money.

Well worth a fiver. No way would I pay 20 quid for each person. It's amazing. We went on 3 rides n that took 3 hours lol.

must be different than Yorkshire, under chart means just one thing they can do and no toddler play area.
