Ecover washing up liquid 500ml - £1 instore @ Poundland
LocalLocalFound 3rd JunFound 3rd Jun
Washing up liquid (500ml bottles). Good alternative to Fairy especially if you want to try something that is plant based and kind to the skin. It is cruelty free as well.

Nope :) it's for Morning Fresh washing up liquid, already commented on it on the MSE thread. I was using boyf's phone camera (the MiA1, which I thought took better pictures), but it was sent to me on Skype, then it gets compressed on here, which doesn't help.

Is that a 2 for £1 sticker for the ecover?

Saw this in Trongate, Glasgow yesterday :) Here's my picture :) Says, "New And Improved Fragrance". Camomile & Clementine, Lilly & Lotus or Pomegranate & Fig varieties.

Not up North yet but I’ll stock up when supplies come (y)

The price seems reasonable enough. I've ordered 20 (dozen?)

I have ordered 10 dozen and received 10single Ecover bottles. I have complained to Amazon and I got refund. My usual tactic with that kind a orders (strong)

You'll get 1, but Amazon will refund the item if you highlight the issue. Did this yesterday with the tinned goods. Cheers OP.

Do not hold your breath - you will only get one. I ordered these last month.

Tiptop find if its is 12 x 1 Ltr's but at 5.5% of a box and a shipped weight of 1.1kg who knows! Good luck if you do get 12 (y)

Great price for this considering it works out at least £2.40 a litre for the 750ml bottles. Plus by buying this you use less plastic!

I paid £1 for 750ml in Tesco yeterday seems to be same price if you do not want to go big size : )

Have to use this for Saniflo, as can't use normal bleach....thanks OP, saved a packet vs the 750ml price

I'm assuming it's because the colouring in other toilet cleaners isn't natural/biodegradable? Good find OP, heat added

Hot from me thank you

Just read this review on Amazon and will be certainly be giving halving them a go:- "Excellent Been using these for years to help delay doomsday! Really work well and here's a tip, cut them in half, it really works. Half a tablet works just as well as a whole one. Recommended" If it works, that'd be 50 loads and a clear conscience for £3.40 (7p a go!) and the 4 boxes I've got coming will last for around 2 years. I'm kicking myself my not thinking of that myself now!

Ecover ecological dishwasher tablets, 25 tablets 500g for £2.50 with MyPicks at Waitrose
Found 22nd Aug 2017Found 22nd Aug 2017
RRP £4.70 but at the moment £3.13 as it's part of the 1/3 off promotion. Could also be added to MyPicks for further 20% off making it £2.50 :)

Plus £1.10 back from Green Jinn

Voted hot by accident (embarrassed) I'm a big fan of Ecover products for laundry and general cleaning. But the dishwasher tablets leave a white film on glasses and dishes.

Learn something every day. Thanks!

Muir, I am afraid not. That's the case when there is a multi offer as the 20% is taken off the price the item scans at, or the normal price when on multi-buy. When on half price or 1/3 off the product scans at the reduced price so the 20% is calculated on that.

MyPicks 20% is based on the normal price, not the sales price. So it would be 3.13 - 0.94 = £2.19.

My mistake. Forgot to put Green Jinn and my maths has gone to ****. Amended.

i read this as stool softener :|

Think I going to get the comfort instead via greenjinn- on offer for £2 at waitrose and also on mypicks so should be 90p for 42 washes after cashback :) what's the ecover like for sensitive skin?

How do you get it for 80p each? On COS the cashback is 70p claim once, £2.25-0.70=£1.55. Each also implies that you can get more than one per account. There is further cashback on GreenJinn for another 70p so if you claim both then it would be 85p for one bottle. But if you go to Waitrose its on a 342 offer (£2.25 each) and also on myPicks for 20% off so you can get 3 bottles for £3.15 then claim the GreenJinn 70p back making it £2.45 or 81.6p per bottle for 3 bottles per account. Before anyone asks, the 20% myPicks discount is applies on all 3 bottles, regardless of the 342 offer :D

Other brands would make my skin itch and tend to have headache inducing smell... I don't have many stains to tackle so I can't really comment on how well this detergent removes them. But typically eco products don't do exceptionally well on that front.

I have used it for 2 years I have severe allergies to allot of perfume, bleach. Asthma, oranges, and lots more and sometimes need my epiPen. It does clean your clothes I boil wash all my sheets, towels, teatowls, with this. But it does leave some stains, if it is a 30 wash. I I didn't have allergies I wouldn't bother. But if you are into Eco warrior stuff then use bicarbonate of soda of the stains. Great deal thanks you just saves me a bit of money xxx

Which magazine doesn't rate this brand at all if you look at their reviews of washing detergent. Haven't tried it myself but their surveys are usually reliable. Haven't voted either way.

They changed the label as well as some of the ingredients.

Around 10p per wash is the magic number for laundry, so this could be a good deal... how is it compared to Persil/Fairy/Bold etc.? Other than the 'eco' branding, does it have any benefits?

I care as I have a septic tank which overflows to a soakaway. Voted hot.

Yep. Specialist toilet cleaners are one of the biggest cons of the modern world. NONE are any better than bleach. You are literally pouring money down the bog! Why anyone would care to be eco friendly about the sewers when they are full of "flushable" wet wipes I just don't get.

This wouldn't shift the dump stains at my work place, I am convinced Shergar is hiding out in the premises and having a sneaky poo when no one is looking.
