It’s started online guys. EDIT — Very has got PSVR + Astro Bot for £169.99 with code 10OFF
truckingscouser

I haven’t seen the controllers any less than £50 (online at least)

GilesEdwards

I got the 179.99 bundle at game with astro bot and resident evil. I don't think that was bad. Guy at the till said he would chuck in two twin controllers for an extra £50 but considering they are basically that RRP, I didn't think the 229.99 deal was very good. Best sourcing the move controllers elsewhere.

Darkchef

:( Seems to be out of stock now!

sarleagreg

I've had it in my basket and just checked, it's gone back up to £278.95 and back in stock on 20th November! Hopefully it will come back down on black Friday!

shadders139

Is the bundle with the move controllers gone? Doesn't seem to be an option when I click on the link?

Damn thats horrific. Still ordering one though (highfive)

Norseg

Wish I knew that earlier since when I used them a couple years ago. Well their a reason why I stopped, I went for a pee at mid night I was half a sleep and barely aware, my "sausage" got caught in the zipper, tried unzipping but it was cut into my skin, had to use butter to get it come off without being too painful (it still hurt like hell) It was bleeding (not too badly) but I was freaking out so I wrapped a sock around it and tie a knot to stop the bleeding than I had to drive to the ER alone and get stitches, still got a huge scar :S

whoop_de_do_basil

You can do the hunchback of Notre Dame routine to be able to go for a wee. Just be careful when you zip back up.

Norseg

Onesies are a pain in the *** I used to wear one years ago, not sure why since I hated it When you need to go to the toilet you have to unzip it all the way than you'll get the whole thing laying on the bathroom floor

I've actually already got it myself, bought near launch for £35, but nice for a local store to have it for a change.

twoechozero

Chelmsford, Essex had 3 copies today.

RavenGunner

I think it performs fine. I've played three/four sessions between 2-4 hours and not felt any adverse effects and that's with full locomotion and no segmented turning Really enjoying playing it with the Move controllers particularly using the bow. Very immersive

airhairlair

Does this perform ok? Or is it a vomit rocket? Skyrim is pretty janky in terms of bugs and I can image that messing with my eyeballs in VR.

philw101

You really need to leave the expectations at the door with this one, especially if you have played at higher resolutions on PC or console. For me it reminds me of the PS3/Xbox 360 generation graphics but what it lacks in that department it makes up for it with scale and immersion. :)

Fair enough, that ones a good deal too. Most likely you can get Skyrim VR on offer for around £20. Just wait for it

I just went with the Astro Bot and RE7 bundle instead. Was too hyped to get a PSVR yesterday and didn't want to wait for delivery.

To be fair there are loads of great apps for PSVR. My top 3 are Wipeout: Omega Collection, Firewall: Zero Hour and Skyrim VR.

italkapple

Good deal. I have it on my hacked PS4. VR is great for this game! Graphics of course and a little down than usual.

frankie1g

Firewall is the killer app

deathhaggis

HEAT. Great price and a must buy killer app if you have VR!

BARKMAN

Playing it sitting down with click turn, blinkers and dual shock (default settings) I’ve not experienced motion sickness. Had it pretty bad in other games but obviously will vary person to person. For comparison, tomb raider on smooth turn made me ill for the day (lol)

Being a member of their rental service and having to use the website on a daily basis I can confirm that the website is absolute tosh Great rental service though (embarrassed)

mixmixi

I yelled at them a lot. Sent feedback a lot and tried to explain to them the site is rubbish but they are not able to do anything about it since they are mainly a rental site. But even if they were able to listen for a tad bit, they could create a separate site for their ex-rental sales and keep this antique for the rental part. But alas, they do not listen...

NickBoyland

Yea the website is absolute garbage - I ended up abandoning my purchase and getting them on fleaBay instead :|

Skyrim is an awesome game with regards to the seemingly endless story lines and quest lines. =) Also, the number of mods on it is Amazing! XD Basically, it depends on your tastes but personally, I look at videos on YouTube of a game before I buy it unless I am heavily invested in the games previious entries such as Halo and GoW. =D

Special Edition. There is enough content without mods, but more and more mods are getting released for SE. Why SE? Because it's 64bit... it performs much better and has less bugs and crashes. Here is a list of mods for SE ... there's over 10,000 to choose from so there's still tons of choice: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/

alex260993

If you want to mod or have a pretty old pc or simply just want to play through the game then this is the one to go for. If you want better graphics (out the box), updated engine and generally just "future proof" skyrim (I.e. For future mods) then get the special edition

Bought. I don't care if I even get motion sickness. I need to be able to Fus-Roh-Dah Lydia off a mountain.

dancemonkey

Yep the immersion is the key. Not far into it but going into the Crypt and the Draugrs crawling out was just great and I am on an OG.

Ianm

I haven’t tried Skyrim on the OG but I thought GT looked pretty good on the original ps tbh if you thought GT graphics were awful I doubt you’ll be very impressed with Skyrim on either console, it such a massive open world compromises had to be made somewhere it’s the immersion that makes it so good.

Gazzie

I’ve got a standard PS4 with a 1st gen headset. Some games have fantastic graphics, like Wipeout, Rush of Blood and Moss. I bought Gran Turismo Sport as it was highly regarded and the graphics are crap (maybe due to having a standard PS4?). Does Skyrim have decent graphics on a standard PS4, or do you need a pro?

Did you raise the complaint with Paypal? Thats how I got my money back... eBay were utterly useless in the matter.

Rustybucket

The item still hasn't arrived and there's still no refund. Ebay say that they have suspended the seller, but they are still wriggling around trying to make me wait for another 9 days for a refund. The original seller was a scam artist. But eBay are the bigger scam artists here. Customer service is a joke.

ctafield

I emailed ebay a few days ago saying it was a scam, heard nothing back. Checked their feedback and its taken a bit of a nosedive https://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=youpayipost&ftab=AllFeedback&myworld=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2050430.m2531.l4585

Just had an email saying I have been refunded £14.98 no reason why

multi

As the others have said. A clear scam to hold your money for as long as possible.. till just end up waiting for PayPal to refund you the money and then you'll be receiving phishing email asking if you want to sell your eBay account...

You have to be a little careful with them and it "may" take a little work. They offered me a price for Tekken a few months back cheaper than maybe you can even get it now.. But every time I placed the order, it wouldn't go through. So then I close the browser tab and try again, this time the price is a little bit higher and so it goes on (to be fair I have seen airline sites do the same thing). Eventually I cleared out all cookies, history then tried again and eventually I got the initial great price. YMMV :)

I just registered with them to check this out but Skyrim VR is out of stock. Their reputation isn't as good as Fanatical but it looked like a good deal. Did anyone pick it up at this price?

See I don't see any difference other than the fact you don't end up with motion sickness...

BubaMan

Yeah - It adds about 5-10 minutes to my play time, at the cost of ruining the gameplay :( I might have to stick a swivel chair in front of the TV so I don't have to press left or right at all - I'll have to pause the game to untangle the cable every now & again (embarrassed)

BuzzDuraband

Yeah, I'd rather not to be honest. I'd personally rather wait for my VR legs and play it properly. That play style is just going to kill any kind of immersion for me.

moneybanks14

Have you guys not gone into settings in RE7 and selected the one that enables you to flick the left analogue stick for 30-45 degree turns instead of continuous rotation?? This makes the game completely playable all the way through.
