Well you leap into your delorean and go get it cheaper. As for right now it's a darn good price and a whole heaping bunch of content. If anyone doesn't know this has all its dlc too.

Still waiting for the Alexa version

(lol) it would be cold if you could get it cheaper right now. Stop living in the past.

COLD this has been cheaper before, this is not a gooddeal

I'd buy it if it was a fiver (embarrassed)

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR - Steam VR £25.99 @ Fanatical
Found 15th JunFound 15th Jun
Skyrim VR has been on out on Steam for a couple of months and appears to be coming down in price. It's currently 30% off on Steam directly but this is a slightly better at 35% off… Read more

You have to be a little careful with them and it "may" take a little work. They offered me a price for Tekken a few months back cheaper than maybe you can even get it now.. But every time I placed the order, it wouldn't go through. So then I close the browser tab and try again, this time the price is a little bit higher and so it goes on (to be fair I have seen airline sites do the same thing). Eventually I cleared out all cookies, history then tried again and eventually I got the initial great price. YMMV :)

I just registered with them to check this out but Skyrim VR is out of stock. Their reputation isn't as good as Fanatical but it looked like a good deal. Did anyone pick it up at this price?

See I don't see any difference other than the fact you don't end up with motion sickness...

Yeah - It adds about 5-10 minutes to my play time, at the cost of ruining the gameplay :( I might have to stick a swivel chair in front of the TV so I don't have to press left or right at all - I'll have to pause the game to untangle the cable every now & again (embarrassed)

Yeah, I'd rather not to be honest. I'd personally rather wait for my VR legs and play it properly. That play style is just going to kill any kind of immersion for me.

Have you guys not gone into settings in RE7 and selected the one that enables you to flick the left analogue stick for 30-45 degree turns instead of continuous rotation?? This makes the game completely playable all the way through.

Half the people I know who have Switches give this as a key benefit! :D

Damn missed out

Purchased! Deal! My switch collection is growing. Switch has overtaken my ps4. I can play this without the wife complaining a out the game lol!

I kept refreshing and boom back in stock. Grabbed one. Worth trying people.

Definately some good prices, particularly they are showing Breath of the Wild for £24.99 plus the 10% off, out of stock now but if any managed to bag it at that price they got a heck of a deal.

I've played through about 100 hours on XB1 version and there are still the bugs that stop you completing some of the quests, but that said, it's still a great game to play through. I haven't bothered with any of the mods as of yet, but looks like there are plenty to try.

How many Skyrim editions are there, lol? Take my money tho!

Yeap, you are in for a treat, Skyrim on the XBX in 4k is fantastic, you really get to savour the artwork and detail so much more, same with Diablo 3 on the XBX, i am going through that now and in 4k the artwork of the game just pops out, visually it's crack for the eyes on the XBX, loving it.

Nice price for a legendary game (even if old bugs still remain)

Thank you for such a detailed response, I appreciate it. Think I’ll pull the trigger, it will be at the back of the shame pile though. Probably be remastered on PS5 and Xbox Two before I get round to playing it :(

Thanks for this. Just saw the deal before I went to bed. Great price I don't expect it will drop any further than this for a long time.

I think you needed to have the original plus expansions before they released the special edition for it to count

does this apply to the Legendary edition above too at all? If I were to buy the legendary edition, would I be able to get the special edition for free? if so, it'd be an extra good deal too!

Also if you have the original version on steam, a copy of the special edition is free to download.

Mods are available for both versions. Most of the popular mods have been ported for the special edition. The ones which aren't are generally the mods which are no longer actively maintained.

Running through this on the XBX in 4k, stunning game, no matter what platform you decied to play it on.

Tesco delivered the VR unit on time on Saturday. The games didn't appear, so I queried why this had happened. there had been a problem with the delivery service, so tesco gave me £10 back as a goodwill gesture and I have now received the games. Well pleased with that. And the psvr is awesome! In the pub of the London Heist I decided to stand up, and tried to push down on the table as I did so (embarrassed)Love it!

They tried to have me over when I sold an iPhone. They gave me an online quote of £125 which I agreed to and then sent the phone. The phone was in a good condition having been kept in a case and with a screen protector. It included the full retail box and charger / headphones. A week later they claimed the phone had a damaged screen. It certainly didn’t. I had taken photos and videos of it before sending to protect myself. They claimed the colours of the screen weren’t right. As a result they offered me £25. I was pretty hacked off but decided to get it returned to me and with the idea that I would sell on eBay. When it arrived back home the handset came in just a bag. They’d kept the retail box and wires that would have allowed me to get my max price on eBay. Naturally I contacted customer services but they just said bad luck as we strip all boxes and wires from handsets as they come in. No chance of finding yours. I was livid. I decided to escalate it. After many hours of hunting around on the web I managed to find the email address of the CEO. He came back with the usual ‘sorry we didn’t perform to our usual standards’ rubbish but more importantly agreed to pay me the full £125 for the phone. Sorry for the long response but I absolutely hate Music Magpie. I wasted so much of my time sorting this out. I had previously heard about mobile phone recycling companies using some underhand tactics but thought MM would be a bit more trustworthy being a bigger company etc. I was wrong. They really are bandits.

How come?

Sorry it hadn't updated on my phone to say the deal was already marked as OOS, or wouldn't have commented.

Music Magpie are bandits. Would always avoid using them.

It's been marked as OOS on HUKD for most of the day.... Why join the deal, just to comment OOS on a clearly already marked OOS deal? (lol) (lol) (lol)

Nintendo switch (neon or grey) with skyrim, rocket league and doom. - £329.95 @ TGC

Seems a good price to me right now if you want a switch considering it comes with 3 good games.

I need to buy a switch for my daughters aged 9 and 5. Anyone know any decent offers that offer with more suitable titles? Thanks

Selling those games somewhere like eBay will get you about £50, so no better than buying a standalone console. Zelda seems to be retaining its value and will cost you about £45. Mario Odyssey is the same. I think stardew valley is only available on Nintendo's eshop at about £12 last time I looked.

Can anyone give me some advice please, I want to get a switch for my daughters birthday mid May. Trying to figure out the cheapest option for getting what I want before then. Shall I buy this bundle and sell all the games (don't want any of them), would that work out cheaper than just getting a console on its own? games we would want are zelda, any of the Mario, 1,2,3 switch or stardew Valley. Or maybe that cardboard thing.

Now or the next few months is a good time to buy a switch. A security flaw was found that means all Switches currently on the market will be easily hackable, and thus turned into portable emulation machines. It's a hardware flaw that can't be patched, Nintendo will be releasing an updated Switch without the hardware flaw soon, so grab one while you can.

not that much superior

Where's that?

My only gripe is not the quest glitches, but the lack of ability to delete them - yeah, I know I can't do that one because of something or other, I don't want a constant reminder...! :(

Once a game is installed it no longer reads the data from the disc, just uses it to start up so there's no danger of this happening :) I once had a game that was struggling to install from the disc so I set it to install from the store (using the disc to prove ownership) and it worked fine. It's probably the cheapest around at the moment, but maybe it'll be cheaper in future if you're happy to wait :)

They work but not great, the default setting are just terrible, trying to aim the bow makes it feel and act like a kango hammer is straped to it. lol

Played through skyrim twice before I bought the VR version for 40 quid and it was worth every penny. You'll spend most of your time modding but it's in a different league. 🔥

One can indeed, the Touch controllers work in-game with no workarounds required. (it even works on the DK2 though you're limited to a control pad and head aiming).

Can one play on oculus rift? Best way to?

Not played skyrim (although I have the game on steam from somewhere, not got round to installing it). How does it compare to say, witcher 3? Fancy another VR game to get in to after star trek and doom, was going to be this or fall out 4, which I haven't played either

Mine didn't even do that which is why it was faulty

Um the v1 box passes thru 4k, but NOT HDR

I bought psvr at launch but sold it due to a lack of quality games. I would be tempted back if they have some good stuff at E3

coming up at £13.40 for me

If you've never played it then it's worth picking up. Melee combat is dated but the rest of the game is great. The ps3 port was terrible because of the memory leak. I don't know many people who could finish it.

Does it still include dawnguard, hearthfire and dragonborn even though its used

Yes but both are made by the same developer. Its more or less the same game with some tweaking and in a different setting. That is why I compared the two.

There's around 4 years difference in age between the two. Skyrim is also a last gen game, if you were playing both at the same time, fallout 4 is likely to feel a lot better and less dated. However personally fallout 4 was not as fun for me as Skyrim or fallout 3/NV. Something just didn't resonate, I completed the main story etc, but I don't think I'll ever return.

Skyrim special edition £14.81 delivered. Now gone up

I use the Rustic Weathers mod on PS4 to give the weather a slightly more realistic look. Makes the nights darker too but not too dark like some other weather mods. Two other mods I can't live without: one that makes weapon enchants permanent (no more soul gem recharging!) and one that stops enemies sliding left and right when you're trying to shoot them with a bow. That last one can be so annoying.

£14.17 now

Fallout 4. (cheeky)

Well... Skyrim was/is brilliant but it's showing it's age. Witcher 3 is my favourite game of the current gen, and tbh i prefer the combat by miles. Despite being similar in tone (medieval fantasy, open world, choice mechanics) they're actually very different games... But if I'd reeeeeeally have to pick one I'd go with the Witcher. :)

Apples & oranges.

I would recommend Skyrim on the ps vr. I also own on the switch and Xbox one but the vr version is brilliant. Like mentioned already switch for mobile gaming, ps vr for immersion.

If you got the move controllers, get this over the switch version, it really immersive, and cheaper. You can get Witcher 3 GOTY, Monster hunter World as alternative games on PS4 and the forthcoming dark souls on the switch.

One is entirely mobile and the other couldn't be any less so, even if it tried.

Never been interested in these games before now, but can't decide whether to go for this or get on Switch. I guess they will be pretty different experiences :/

Only used them once so can't comment as to "Normal" but my copy from them was sealed, pristine and still had redeemable eshop points so every indication it was brand new.

My copy arrived with the case cracked in two places, inlet torn, and scratches on the cartridge contacts that indicate second hand use. Is this normal for this seller?

No, its not subjective. I was using your measures, Witcher 3 is a lot bigger than skyrim, you were going off size and content. Witcher 3 is 3.5x the size of skyirm and has way more content. You even used BOTW earlier to compare, which is also a bigger map than skyrim and still has another DLC coming out, so arguably should have more content.

I'd like to play this game but i really don't feel like I have the time. Looks like the type of thing you gotta commit to and I got ** to do lol

And that's not subjective? I think we just have to disagree on this one.
