Not that cheap. I always use THIS SITE for any vitamins or supplements I need and code AUG628 gives 35% off. In addition to great prices, their Sale Items Page offers even more discounts, up to 60% OFF or BOGOF. Code works with sale items too.

Make sure you double check the contents on the bottle as they have been different to those listed on the website. For me that's important. They did offer credit for the full item price and got to keep it (was mag and zinc - paid sale price) after evidence and blamed it on rebranding. Took the Mick with dispatching as well on the free del. Have a great day

I've seen research saying that having tablets are more effective.

nope. on the orthogeriatrics ward we give 100,000 units by injection as soon as someone is admitted - and repeat it every 3 days for 2 further doses. and thats by injection - i.e. bypassing portal metabolism. do you have a medical degree? or just access to google? 30,000 units of vitamin d would never be a potentially toxic dose!

No it's really not. To suggest taking one hit of 30,000iu wouldn't cause toxicity or be dangerous is just reckless. Especially with no mention of vitamin K2. Vitamin D is fat soluble, so doesn't need to be taken daily - but frequency and timing do matter as its now seen as a hormone, and has important signalling in the body - e.g. for circadian rhythm. It can help alleviate SAD and boost mood. I doubt a big, potentially toxic dose would be as helpful in that regard as taking doses that more closely mimic natural sun exposure.

See my link. Doctor Rhonda Patrick has studied vitamin D and released at least one paper on it. But it depends on the person. The RDA is low. Also RDAs are based on what is required to prevent notable issues. Most people are vitamin D defficient. Humans evolved outdoors but we now mostly stay indoors. Salmon is a good source. Eggs are decent too. Red salmon also contains astaxanthin - an excellent anti oxidant, which can help protect you from sun damage (even if consumed). Nothing too bad about lower dose versions, just take more. Taking vitamin D in high doses without vitamin K2 can cause real harm. Also multi vitamins etc can contain it. You may get more sunshine or eat lots of salmon one day - so mega dose capsules can be less flexible - you'd want lower doses on those days.

Ideal dose is best after knowing current blood levels; very low- less than 25- 20,000 iu twice weekly for 10 weeks ( e.g hux-d3) max dose can be 60,000 iu weekly - in divided doses- for fit young adult. Elderly- lower dose; Vit d3- Can over dose and can be toxic. For over the counter- best to stay safe and not exceed 5000 iu daily for few months. To maintain vit D in no sun period (Oct-April) 1k iu daily is sufficient

Some people are just prejudiced against snakes, what can you do?

From your 'link' (which does not offer any evidence) "Fatty acids offer great promise as a suitable adjunctive therapy for ADHD." A pile of bricks offer great promise as a house but doesn't mean it will be house!

Where do I start?! :o Well there's a lot of evidence it helps with ADHD for one, but there are heaps of studies that show significant improvement in other areas of health, even if it may not statistically reduce the rate of heart attacks

Cod is a fish not a snake XD

Completely agree. However, these are not really your usual diet pills, these are used mostly by people keen into exercising, probably above the average level.

“Subjects taking the key ingredient in Hydroxycut Hardcore Next Gen lost 10.95 lbs. in 60 days with a low-calorie diet and 3.7 lbs. in an 8-week study with a calorie-reduced diet and moderate exercise.” These subjects lost weight because they had a calorie deficit - that’s the basics of losing weight. I lost 4st (56 lbs) in the first four months of the year doing exactly this and throwing in a lot of exercise. Supplements like this will have a tiny impact, and certainly won’t do anything if you’re eating too much or not exercising.

Just buy caffeine

Yes, that was the ingredient that made them effective. They use something else now instead, but not as efficient, obviously not as dangerous as before.

The 'dangerous' ones are still available to buy in lots of countries. Including in Canada, where you buy ephedrine as nasal decongestant. Honey is dangerous for babies, and in lots of countries they give these to babies instead of sugar, as doctors and pharmacists recommend this. So, sometimes the red tape is justified, sometimes not, at my place of work, because of 1 incident things have changed, despite the fact things worked for 10 thousand people. The old ones were more effective, so as with everything else, what works has to have something unhealthy/unsafe in it. Took the 'old' ones about 10 years ago, on the advise of my trainer, never had side effects and they worked.

Ok thank you

I wouldn’t think so. As you would be tripling the dose of some of the vitamins that are the same in each one.

Bought 2 packs (not sure which ones!) yesterday at Thurrock Lakeside, great find!

Please don't give your kids calcium supplements unless you're also giving them vitamin k2. You may be putting calcium into their bodies but without k2 it won't end up in their bones!

@col11 It'll definitely be more than a booklet! Here's an example of previous packs!

@pinkchick1987 - you definitely do get free stuff! Lots of it. As for who benefits more (the brands or the families hosting the parties), I think it's probably pretty equal! It's all about creating word of mouth (from parties) around the brands. The party pack is not some kind of competition prize. It's needed to carry out the party activities. That's why there's so much stuff in each pack. It's a word of mouth marketing campaign.

Last time I heard of something like this was when someone brought a cougar to the party and it went crazy ;)

Yeah sounds like they win with free market research and advertising and you probably get a booklet with ideas of how to entertain a handful of hyper kids!

Doesn’t really sound like you get free stuff. Just some ‘activities’ and the chance to win free stuff. They’re definitely benefiting more from it!

Why is it only taking 20% off for me

Previous 40% off week before last had 1KG free protein for spend over 60. I prefer that to 12 bars and 250g this time. Good deal still although anyone who would ever buy from Myprotein without at least a 30% discount doesn't know what they're doing. I wish Myprotein would stop the DFS style promotions and price properly and then once do real discounts say 10% once in a while. All protein sellers are guilty of this but MP really takes the ps.

They had 241 so 50% off recently, but 40% is still a great deal

Doesn't work on the men alpha multivitamins?

Thanks g u 2
