Prepaid esim service options?

Posted 27th Nov 2023
Hell, what are the current options if I want to port my 2 talkmobile lines to a provider that offers esim prepaid service 20+GB (Vodafone or EE only) + EU roaming (I can live without)?

I know of esim.net, I had their service before but 45 pounds for 2 vodafone lines are just too much money, I thought they'd run a BF deal; but nothing.
I was gonna order Lyca esims, but reading their trustpilot's reviews and people discussions here are just worrying.
Any other option?

O2 does esim. You request it later (I had to anyway) but I get 40gb and roaming for £10pm.

I tried O2 before and their coverage was bad. It's why I asked for Vodafone or EE only since they have good coverage in my location.
    Thanks.

I'm on Lebara but discovered that I could get a prepaid eSIM that offers Three/O2 roaming in the UK. Found I could even lock it to one or the other, as the auto cutover seemed to interrupt streaming. Handy to have if you want to keep your number and avoid porting, but are staying in a Vodafone non-spot. (edited)

Where'd you get the prepaid eSIM? Not Lebara right?

For anyone else reading this, who doesn't require Vodafone or EE, apparently three do eSIM on PAYG.

You order a free physical SIM and activate it, and then according to their online chat, you can contact customer service to convert it to an eSIM. I guess at that point you can port your number in too. (edited)
