Hello All,

I want to get a spare SIM for calls / texts only. This phone will sit in an office with WiFi so there is no need for data on it at all since it will never leave that office. Does anyone know who has the cheapest unlimited calls/texts only SIM? Ideally PAYG.

If not unlimited, then cheapest possible call rates.

It will only be used for calling UK , International minutes not required.

Thank you.

You could just do the Lebara/ Lyca cheap deal dance.

Search the posts for Lebara. There was a post for 49p per month

+1 this would be the lowest price option, just requires a "port dance" every 6 months if you want to keep the number, if it isn't important then even better.

1p mobile do a 1 year talker plan £36 so obviously a lot more expensive.

Not the best network but you can get SKY sim for £1 per month unlimited calls plus unlimited texts if you buy a cheap handset from them.

Have a look at the offerings from 1p Mobile

If you don't want to worry about having to swap networks every few months. RWG @ £3.50 per month is probably what you're looking for : rwgmobile.wales/web…th/

lyca 45p a month for 6 months and then it increases to £4.90pm or you can go with lebara £1.99 for 6 months, it then increases to £4.90pm

lebara uses vodafone network, which doesn't seem to be as strong as it used to be since last week. lyca uses EE network and seems to be quite good since they left O2 and went over to EE.

This time last year was when the Lyca/ Lebara price battle was at its peak, working its way to the 1p deal. Nothing comparable this year, sadly, and my 12 months at 1p/month are just about to come to an end

1p Mobile or RWG's yearly plans if you just want something you can do super easily.

Maybe ASDA Mobile they have a £4 a month plan for unlimited mins and texts with no data. You should also get WiFi Calling. Vodafone network.

If you're prepared for a port dance you could dance around Lebara, Lyca and Talk Home.

Or if the usage is low, you could do one of the 1p deals by 1p Mobile or Talk Home, or an O2 Classic (3p/min 2p/SMS)
