The one I liked ages ago was this one (Deal post: - not the Bambino but similar). It's went up a few £ since I posted from £81 to £83, but that's probably currency fluctuations.

You definitely will get stung for import duties with Creation now using DHL.... Creation now state the correct product info & price on their exports. So you'll have to pay 20% VAT + £11 admin to DHL. Some have got away with it paying the extra for airmail delivery, but that comes with risk as well.

Heat for the deal... I personally don’t like the watch! I do like orient and they made one of the nicest watches ever! The Bambino Auto

Well the last post deleted was a Brand's own shop with a turnover of £2 billion. I suspect they need to keep up their affilite ratio up which is fair enough we all need to make money. There site they can do what they like, but I don't intend wasting my time. Oxygen watches were created in 1950 as a manufacturer of professional diver watches. The brand today; part of the CITIME France group

Hard to say but maybe HUKD doesn't like the Third-Party sellers? Had plenty of my own Deals deleted throughout the years - don't let it put you off :) Not heard of Oxygen but I enjoy reading watch threads - new brands are always worth exploring. Not that I'm an expert, but I have a casual interest :) Swiza Watches (in my last post) seem to be spearheaded by the ex-CEO of Wenger watches - they only expanded into watches around 2015, so wonder if they're of a similar ilk. Some Swiza vintage clocks are really nice - unusual ones out there too :)

To do this open your Outlook Calendar and click on Discover calendars on the left. From there you can select all World Cup or selected countries. You can even use this in future to import fixtures for other sports or leagues.

I think you’ll find less than half the year is gone (flirt) I myself am a person who never buys calendars at the start of the year, but halfway through the year wish I had gotten one

Id rather pay 1.00 for 6 months than 5.99 for 12 months . Do the math

£1 after half the year is gone? No thanks More like they should be paying us a £1 to take one for free

Flagged for moderation, is this a Ryman’s thing? :|

No. Some jobs require that you don't have your phone switched on. Also, it is much faster to look at your wrist than fumble around in your pocket for a phone. Plus watch batteries last a LOT longer then your average phone. And if the watch is an automatic, then no batteries are needed. I like to think of watches as nice jewellery for geeks. Functional, yet pretty.

Can't find it - must have sold out

I've never had an issue knowing if it was am or pm, but you can find similar complications on quite a few watches.

Comes to what? It was a simple question with a simple answer, don't be an ass. Frankly the idea of having a 24 hour counter wheel seems pretty pointless to me, but at least I know what it is now. I had missed the date window in the bottom right.

I would say.. No.. I don't. Does my head in to trust me. Lost many school break times writing lines after failing spelling test.

The fact this is in freebies and not deals may account for the cold votes! As you are paying for it, it is a deal.

This is a great app... The unique thing it offers which Google Calendar doesn't is a week view which is readable! It looks like a Filofax type week view. I have a Google widget for schedule and a widget for this app for week view and can flick between the two. I would not be be without this app. It also offers quicker appointment scheduling than Google Calendar. It syncs perfectly, and almost instantly with Calendar.

Hmm; it’s the 2015 base model which didn’t review spectacularly well. I have the 2016 m5 model which is much improved. In my experience, pay a bit more for a more recent model, preferably from John Lewis so you get the extra warranty.

I’m using this same machine for more than a year for general use & including VMWare that run windows server 2005 and oracle db.. it’s fast enough and responsive.. never notice any big difference between this and my new MacBook pro with touch bar that is running the same setup as my macbook 12”.

I had the second gen mid-range version and it was OK for basic stuff. Once the CPU hits peak temp from Turbo Boosting, which doesn't take much, it'll throttle back and you'll be wishing for more horsepower. I wouldn't bother with VM unless you're running Notepad on Windows 7 or earlier. Sierra eats up most of the 8GB RAM so VM with limited RAM and a Core M that throttles easily would be less than fluid.

I think the saving is over Apple's refurbished price. The cheapest new one is £1,249.00!!

I still love my aging, heavily upgraded 2011 macbook but consider upgrading. However I fear a 1.1ghz CPU would feel sluggish very quick after initial setup. Would this even handle VMware to run a few windows-only apps?

Received this couple of days ago, good for the price and it is more than bright enough unlike others have said. Only downside is that the projection is upside down when on the ceiling!

LCD display of this product is very dim, definatly it's not like as picture.

Ordered thanks! Apparently my teenage son is not waking up in a morning due to his alarm being insufficient and not loud enough, hope this one blows his socks off!

i have purchased similar one. Total waste of money . temperature never correct . time all over the place. looks and feel cheap. dont waste your money. buy Sony projection alarm clock.

quote "Power Supply 2 x AAA Batteries(Not Included)/DC 4.5V Input(Not Included)" I would have thought it needs 3 x AAA not 2 x AAA, for a 4.5V supply.

Never used one of these Chinese sites, but have noticed whenever posted by HUKD staff , says "requires to be logged in " to use the code . Now to Log in surely you have to register ? What details do you need to register ? Having got those details what further information can they glean from those details ? Apart from presumably loads of spam emails (skeptical) :S

Also this is absolute tat, Christmas cracker quality tat at that! The sort of thing charity shops can’t shift at 50p

Think you hit the nail on the head

I found this deal in Coventry store. There is nothing on webpage so in store only deal while stock last. Game of Thrones 2018 calendar for 18 months - winter is long lol.

U mean The Wall?

It's a weird thing they still exist, surely only for the panic buying at Christmas, like who has one on their wall?

Winter is over.

If you've reached the end of March and didn't need a calendar, chances are you don't need it for anything more than the pictures :) A week or two into January HMV dropped their calendars to 99p - much more reasonable than £8-10 just before Christmas

That's unfortunate. That's my main concern too, the black G shock look. Guess I'll find out tomorrow and can always return it.

I sent mine back - I found the face too busy and the time not that easy to quickly glance at. I also thought that the black finish of the strap made it look a bit like a G Shock from a distance.

Oh yeah I thought this was the one but it's (similar but) different. Well this is an even better deal then!

Found the one you where talking about (it's £16.99) and the sub dails don't work. The one I oedered came today and the dails do work on this model.

Bought one today. Since I missed it the other day, and IT is chrongraph "It has three sub dials for seconds, minutes, and a 24H dial plus the useful calendar." Question: Do the other dials work at all? Answer: Yes all the dials work. By Amazon Customer on 18 December 2017

Bought my dad one for the same price a while ago, a lot of watch for that money. The chronograph is fake and so is the lume and it isn't the easiest to read but in terms of quality, accuracy and noise it's very good at this price.
