I brought this model 2 years ago for £10 just after Black Friday & it's still going strong!!! It absolutely faaaaaaaantastic!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 For someone who at times has strength loss due to various illnesses this is one of the best things I have ever brought!!! It works brilliantly with my Nutri Ninja Auto IQ. Both products are helping me improve my health (strong) (strong) (strong) & save precious time!!! My son loooooves eating fruit & veg but hates cutting them. (annoyed) He looooves this. (cheeky) We use it near enough everyday!!! Easy to clean & store. Not a bad price for one with a glass bowl.

Anyone use this should simply just give up cooking and order takeaways.

Haven't used the mandolin yet, not sure if I want to after seeing the reviews! Chopper works fine for veg though, and no missing digits yet...

Took the top of my finger off with one of these, through trying to be too quick with it and not using the grip it came with. As long as you're careful, you'll get great results.

Just read the reviews... No thanks, I value my limbs.... Lol

Been too scared to use one of these after watching that Rick Stein video

Very fiddly to remove the container, it's a really poorly made device, I have one and while it does chop, very finely, very quickly, removing the container and reattaching is a pain... it clearly is a device that was made for another purpose and they've re-engineered it for this purpose. The weird plastic bit with the green button on top is clearly some bodge they've stuck on this to make a mini chopper. It's ok for £10 but I was not overly impressed.

Good price and handy tool

I bought this about 2 months ago when it was on Amazon deals. It was incredibly noisy. I can’t speak for how good it is because I returned it but if anyone wants something that doesn’t wake the dead, don’t buy this.

Russell Hobbs Food Collection Mini Chopper £9.99 @ Sainsbury's

Very handy to make puree and also to blend baby food. Was £15 now reduced to £12

These are crap. You've got to cut a standard onion into quarters at the very least before this thing will even look at it - so what's the point? By the time you get this out and wash it after you could have just chopped it yourself.

"get to da shopper" A Schwarzenegger.... .. and good night !

You can use it for nuts. I'm not sure if you can use it for dates without adding liquid as dates can be tricky. It might be ok though. You could always try it then take it back if it isn't good. You definitely can't use it for coffee beans. You'd need a grinder for that. Just looked at the instructions and it says you can use it for things like ice cubes, nuts, herbs, meat, garlic, onions, carrots, almonds.... I intend on using mine to chop onions and for making humous and stuff like that. It comes with a whisking disc for cream too. For £12.99 You can give it a shot. (y)

Don't use it for coffee

I'm considering buying it... Any reviews? Is it suitable for nuts/making oat flour from oats/coffee beans/ blending dates without adding liquid? I'd like to make power balls by blending dates&nuts :D I'd like to get a good food processor but they're very bulky and expensive.... :/

Sounds like another marketing disaster the Sinclair micro penis.

I bought one of these for my Aunt who is a keen cook but has arthritis so finds chopping a chord. She loves it and gets a lot of use out of it

Thanks for the suggestion. Got £10 refund, now I will buy Blender

Just sent mine back as its just the accessories and no blender included

With Amazon always live chat with them about a return...for Prime customers they often don't ask for goods back if low value (and address stuck all over the box) ..I said I'd return the accessory pack unless they could give me £10 off the blender as it wasn't any use. Instead of giving me £10 off the blender they refunded the accessory pack so I could just buy the blender. I've still spent more than intended, but hey.

How they have refunded without return?

Amazon refunded the full £10 without a return... So I'll buy the blender... Means I get VBL062 blender with 2 large bottles and accessory pack for £18.50...which is a result.

Sense of humour in the marketing departments when they named this! ;)

I have one of these. The good thing about this is it’s glass bowl which is very good to clean and doesn’t stain. As a chopper, I would say it’s mediocre.

Brilliant these, use mine for my morning protein shakes.
