Personally used this after recommendation by family and have since sung praises to everyone I've met. I've set up a price alert for this and it's currently at a really low price. … Read more

OP this is amazing. I took a punt and bought 3, for family too, I can’t believe I didn’t know such a thing existed. Minced all my garlic and stored it. Very very happy. Thank you.

These little choppers are amazing, be lost without it in our kitchen.

Think I'll barge in and buy one, just to see how it copes with a whole coconut:

“Guarantee: With its durable mechanism, the 5 Second Manual Food Chopper is guaranteed for 10 years.” If it’s guaranteed for 10 years it seems like a great deal.

I’ve had 2 from Amazon (different brand). I love the product. Nice not to have to use power to chop up quickly. However I wonder if this one is stronger my last 2 that have eventually broken from wear & tear.

"Not as good as LidlReviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 March 2020 Colour Name: Silver I have had two Lidl choppers previously - cant remember cost but cheap at £9 ish ...unfortunately dropped and broke plastic holder.. so had to replace urgently.. I thought I would pay the money and buy a really good one.. well. it looks good... well made.. but the chopping is not as effective immediately as the Lidl one was.. so for example, chopping an onion.. if you put say 4 small quarters.. it does not chop all at once.. so you have to remove the chopped onion and then put the remaining unchopped parts back in.. so basically I am not that enamoured with it, particularly at the cost. 18 people found this helpful" This is a review from Amazon. I checked the other from your link ,and some complain about longevity issues and a difficulty to assemble/align correctly to make it work.

We have one its a good buy but the lids are very crappy on this which is prone to break at the point where it presses the lever down to be able to switch it on. The cuisine art website has not had replacements in stock for a while so we tend to use a toothpick to push the lever down for now.

anyone with experience of this one? is this a good buy ? considering it come with 5 years warranty. My Phillips mini chopper has died after being used almost everyday for past 2 years... Thanks This one looks good value with £8 voucher.

Remember you need a 2 pin to UK power adaptor

Click on here where it says, 'Get deal'. It will take you to the item in Amazon Germany. Or you can go to and search for the item. You then sign in with your usual Amazon UK account details. You use the same account details for all Amazons. No need to make a new Amazon account. If you use Chrome browser, you can translate Amazon UK into English. If you use the Amazon app, you can change the location to Amazon Germany and even change the language to English. Then you just buy it the same way you would with your UK amazon account. Your UK card details and address will already be in the account. Or you can add another card etc. You select your address and select your payment card. You can pay in British Pounds or pay in Euros. It might be best to pay in British Pounds unless you have a card without international payment fees like Revolut. Otherwise you can select to pay in pounds at checkout. Here is a pic of the German checkout. See where you can select the currency? Let me know if you have any questions. (y)

Quidco 30% cashback (£7.50) on top makes this cheaper than Amazon Prime price. Total is £17.49.

Had one for a few years and still going strong. It is a chopper and not a blender so not good for soups etc but excellent for chopping veg or for blending butter into flour and so on. My only issue is cleaning the inside of the motor that fits onto the blade. Mine came with 2 bowls, I use one for savoury and one for sweet. Not that it matters as the blade is the same but the fact that they stack is also a plus point. Well recommended

Thank God it is stackable

Iv had myn for a good while to quote on it. I think it's brilliant small, compact and brilliant chopper. Have had no issues with it. Love it can't be without it

I was looking one to cut peppers (Green, Red, yellow). Small chunks for using in chicken roll pastry. Will this be any good for it?

Update: bought the Lidl one, 15£, 3 years warranty, 600w, also has speed and turbo.

I think it is on sales this week, not sure about the wattage though.

Only in store. Was on sale weeks ago. They take off website a week after they went on sale. Youll be lucky to find one now I think.

Is 500w good?

How can I order the Lidl version. Can't find it on their website

I have had, which were minor thankfully, caused on occasion by my own lack of actions and inactions, sometimes by the actions or inactions of others. As for safety regulations having worked in catering for over thirty years I've seen some horrifying things. A statement that I agree with.

Until you have one yourself. Better safe than sorry . All the safety legislation is for fools according to some people until it saves their own life. No one wants to get hurt deliberately.

Maybe you cannot, thats your choice,I can and do,that's mine. I'm of the view that accidents dont just happen, they are caused.

When an accident happens , you cannot blame people for lack of common sense. I know everyone is very pressed for time . There is a locking mechanism in all choppers and food processors I have used till now for a good reasons .
