It does make a perfect sense, thanks.

rachelkajese

If you bought it now you would get it for the fixed price of £2.66, after the order is shipped or the s&s price goes up or down before your next s&s order is shipped then you will pay whatever the price is at that time( hope this kind of makes sense ) (embarrassed)

Arto

Used to love this stuff but they changed something a few years ago and isn’t as good anymore

This is also £2.66 @Ocado. Handy to know if you shop with them.

Then why isn't the lip balm working? Put vaseline on just twice a day and my lips are as smooth as a babys bum but put palmers lip balm on starting from twice a day into 5 times a day over the course of 2 weeks (don't know why I even gave it that long) and you can literally peel the skin off my lips they are that damaged and dry. Not a scientist or whatever but i'd say that's not a product worth even paying 1p for. So would be very dubious about any of their other products 'cause a skin care company can't go wrong with a basic lip balm really. Unless it's Palmers, clearly, lol.

I suffer from this. Hope you don't mind me asking but do you have to rub it up inside your nose? Or just around the outside? (confused) :)

shelaghharris

When consumed as part of a ketogenic way of eating, it is considered healthy. Coconut oil also has many topical uses.

surfbored

It's the best source of non-animal Caprylic Acid...that's why I'm taking it everyday. It's a good size container for keeping in your bag, but it's definitely cheaper (per litlre) elsewhere in bigger sizes

Peacemonster

Seen in Stamford on Friday..dinky.

mastutio

I don’t think it is. As far as I am aware the only place it might be beneficial is if you are using it as a replacement for an oil high in saturated animal fat.

Yeah, I must be dead too... maybe heart attack. Mate, they advise against the use of it because it's really really good for some. Generalised health recommendation from Quangos tied to the Food Industry don't work. Metabolic process is not completely unique from person to person but I can tell you that sugar (too much carbs as well) can cause problems. Not sensible use of fats/oils. (But go do your own research, obviously like many on here :)

Also very true!

johnnystorm

I don't disagree, but I think they are just being pragmatic. Realistically the majority of people aren't going to give it 100% and kick all the bad stuff in one go. Look how many people still smoke when it's patently obvious it's a terrible idea! (excited)

polarbaba

It's true that exercise is important however the diet that causes the diseases can't be jumping jacked away, and veganism isnt about vitamins, it's about eating whole plant based foods, and not Quorn burgers with fries.

johnnystorm

I expect the reason they don't promote veganism is that "hard work" like exercise or eating vegetables gets ignored. Popping a magic pill however is more readily accepted. Same reason we have "5 a day", and America has "3 a day" for Vege portions. It's not a hard and fast rule bit what the health bodies think they can realistically get people to try!

polarbaba

There's a quote a bit of information about how these charities who name themselves after diseases are anything but helpful. Google Dr burszinskis documentary on youtube. and find out how these guys stop evidence based medicine by doctors , of pharmaceutical products, under the supervision of the FDA etc, are banned when found effective. For example why isn't heart UK etc promoting a vegan diet, the only known diet to halt and reverse heart disease and blockages etc? There's lots of stuff like this. As for coconut oil, I would say stay away from all oils, dementia has a strong link with the narrowing of brain arteries . But if they think MCT can help, then sure try it.

Sorry for the late reply. One of our co-op, 4 families, started an acc with Suma, so we do a Google Spreadsheet that has the combined full order. Yes, there's delivery charges and that varies so they're a better bet if you start ordering a lot of stuff. Their prices vary but mosttimes we're better off buying bulk

Jlpen

Just out of interest do you get discounted prices if ordering in bulk from suma? I couldn't see delivery charges either?

Jlpen

Price has changed. I'll expire. Thanks

IMHO

Showing as £8.95 for me.
