Kenwood Kmix KMX754BK 1000W Stand Mixer £159.20 with code @ Hughes on eBay

Great price for this 1000w motor mixer

Sadly not. I use a hot cast iron skillet and the flames from the large hob. Donner mix is pretty easy if you have the ingredients. Mine is my own amendments to a popular online recipe.

The KMIX is pretty robust - I've had mine for years.

Naan bread? Do you have a tandoor? Also how do you make donner meat?

Been eyeing up the non kmix Kenwood on Amazon for around £220. Looks a much sturdier model. However this is much cheaper for same power. I would have bought this had I not found a brand new 800w Kenwood on gumtree for £45. The guy even delivered it to me as he wasn't in during the day when I was passing by.

I get loads of use out of mine - although mine came with a metal bowl (which is a bit more durable). I make everything from naan bread and pizza dough to meatball and donner kebab meat in mine. Oh and apparently you can use it to make cake batter (lol) Really powerful motor and sturdy construction. Just as well made as a KitchenAid and I believe the motor is more powerful too.

Had one of these and it only lasted a few months. Spend a bit more if you’re using it regularly

Got one

thank you, got one

heat added, Ordered I've been looking for a cheap one for ages. Hopefully now I can make merangues and butter cream. The Silvercrest mixer doesn't do the trick as the whisk doesn't reach the bottom of the bowl and just spreads the butter around the bowl and leaves it out of reach.

Or stick one of these in your already owned cordless drill for more hardcore mixing.

Does this take tassimo capsules or only after market products? I heard that this is a con, and make you but the original coffee capsules which are expensive. Heat given despite the negative reviews posted online.

So tempted to try it... but better not! (highfive)

I bought my 145L from them last year, was £109 inc vat in store

I agree Marty.. I bought a 140 litre version off eBay withfree delivery for £145. Good strong electric motor. Used it to lay mortor beds for two 5m x 4 m patios then cleaned it up and sold it for £110 two weeks later, on eBay. You need one with an opening big enough for a decent size shovel when loading up. And like you say, clearance to get a barrow under it. I bolted a 1 metre piece of decking to the single leg for stability. Job done for equivalent of £35 rental.

Its tiny, best looking at a 140L version Dimensions: 107cm x 51cm x 88.5cm

Better off just mixing it on a board with a shovel. This is only good for 1small bag of concrete mix (the 63l only refers to drum capacity when it's vertical and not mixing anything). It also has no stand, so when emptying the drum there's is barely a foot clearance to the ground (useless if emptying into a wheelbarrow). Then there are issues with the motor drive belt/pulley becoming mis aligned and jamming up.

at this price you may as well splash out a little more and just get the Bosch MUM5 - it'll do a hell of a lot more.

Showing as £199 on website

Kenwood mixers are one of the best brands around for food mixers and some models go for way more than £400. Used the same model in an industrial kitchen for over 5 years being used daily. It's never let us down yet.

Cheers OP - rest easy in the knowledge that THIS IS a Hot deal. I am resigned to the fact that this site is now populated by ignorant cretins who wouldn't know a hot deal if it leapt up and bit them on the ass. Post a deal for 5p off a frozen pizza if you want to garner praise. It never used to be like this - i remember when it was all fields!

i'm guessing this isn't the sort of thing hukd folk are into... unless is damaged jammie dodgers for 2p or a half price sex aid from lovehoney they don't like spending actual cash for proper products. so, anyone voting cold, if they'd like to show one cheaper anywhere... be happy to read about it. voted hot...

Well I pleased for you I really am, that explains everything, so you collect them, I just hope you get a return on your collection one day.

Excellent price, but worth noting the KSM150 models are now discontinued and have been replaced with the KSM125 and KSM175. Same machine with slight changes in design. Having said that I would have no problems in buying this!

Clueless, obviously.

As a chef of 30+ years, I can tell you (with no agenda) these things stand up to a commercial kitchen where the likes of Kenwood simply don't. They are solid and easily repairable (first thing to go on them in usually the gears which are a simple replacement for a few quid) :)

Now that is a good deal for a new Artisan, yes you can get refurbs on eBay cheaper but they are just that - refurbs - heat from me! :)

Only T bags should have 100 degrees, leaf tea should be approx 85. So OK for proper tea.

Wow! Three mixer deals on one page all by three different people. :o Got to be a first.

Clearly doesn’t realise the difference between standard and artisan versions...

The 150 model - and certainly this colour is not normally this price. I think you're mixing the words "normal" and "occasionally" These are really good deals. I spent a long time researching each model, their price history, and even posted a deal on a similar model myself a while ago. My wife's a home Baker so needed one.

Just do a small search here and will see how often this price is happening, then, it's normal.

This or the one above is certainly not the normal price. It is very rare to get them this cheap. Both great finds.

Granted, though this is a Great Taste winner - so the balance of cumin, chilli, salt and peanuts is perhaps a lot more refined than just chucking said ingredients in a pan and hoping for the best. That, and it saves the task of even doing so.

In any case roasting a few peanuts and tossing them in some cumin and chili isn't hard or expensive to do.

Funkin cocktail mixer - mojito mix 69p on Home bargain (makes 7) £4 elsewhere lovely booze
Found 10th MayFound 10th May
3m on best before and I’m sure it’s not particularly long dated anyway Normally £4 in Waitrose and it’s lovely Just add ice and rum and you’ve got a lovely cocktail

I’d love to agree with you but only about 1 in 5 bartenders can make a decent one and when they’re charging £10 a go it should be every bartender This makes fairly decent ones so good for a novice

Yes I know all of that, I work there... it's great stuff, I wasn't dissing it, I was merely stating that this is what spoons uses. If you have ever had a wetherspoons mojito, this, bacardi and soda water is literally it, so you know what to expect.

I love booze so much

Just buy some limes, sugar and mint. Then top with white rum. That's all you need to make a mojito, so simple and it's a thousand times better fresh. Watch a youtube video on how to make one. Source, I'm a bartender.

Doesn't matter; the ingredients speak for themselves: Ingredients: Water, sugar, lime juice, lemon juice, natural mint flavouring This is really lovely stuff. Heated.
