Can someone explain how these work on a pc, surely if it has one jack plug, what do you plug it into for both the mic and earphones to work?
Collected mine today at Currys. Had £25 giftcard so was at the perfect price

Now back to £39.99 and £34.99 @ Amazon.co.uk

Quick test and seems very good, very happy!
Been looking for a budget headset for a while, awesome! Can't wait for it to turn up, then I can play pubg in peace
Got one of this from the last Curry's sale a few months back at similar price. The sound is good, cable is solid all though the headphone could feel a bit plasticy flimsy after a while.

Just be aware that the mic is just ok. The mic input is very low for some reason for me, even when I've tried all sorts to bump it up. If you bump the input enhancement up, you could record with your normal voice but there would be a lot of background noise.
Thanks

The people buying the Revolver S are also buying it for the 7.1 Dolby Surround feature because it's the best headset for that. The Cloud 2 is "only" stereo.

I don't think my comment went though?

Anyway, I went into discord with my friend and he has told me that the mic is absolutely amazing and that he will be buying the Revolver S after his cloud II gives out. In my opinion this is the most comfortable headset I've ever used, I've had it on for 7 hours and its still not uncomfortable. In terms of sound its the best i've ever heard (even over £300 headsets I've tried at gaming festivals) and a massive improvement over my Sony Gold Headset (£50-£60) which hinges snapped within 3 months and Sony wont even take them back.

Anyway, the Revolver S has a setting which can activate surround sound while not amazing it works pretty decently for pin pointing where footsteps are coming from. If you didn't know this before then I doubt you have ever owned the Revolver S(perhaps you've tried the revolver(not S))?

Anyway I'm extremely pleased I noticed this deal before buying an Astro headset and for me its the best headset I've used so I won't be complaining.

Exact reason why I didn't bite when I seen them on the black Friday sale, mic for Xbox one X has to be at least good enough.

Had an email saying my hyperx cloud alphas arrived today, grabbed Dolby Atmos licence last night knowing they were arriving today. £54.

Will try out normal stereo first, then windows sonic and then finally Atmos, see what real differences there are.

I've got the Hyper X 2's which our great, but for the price ordered these …I've got the Hyper X 2's which our great, but for the price ordered these to go with my new PlayStation 4 Pro.My sister is buying my PlayStation 4 glacier white plus 2 dualshocks and it has a TB storage for £160...(devil)

That's a lot of irrelevant information but thanks for letting us know about your sister.
I have these. Paid £40 for them around a month ago, which I thought was very overpriced at the time. Opening the package up I'd expect the price to be closer to £25. I planned on using them for one session and then returning them.

However, it's paid its price back three times over with how well made it is, how easy it is to use and how much more fun it makes playing with your friends when you don't have to faff about with echo/volume problems/buzzing noises etc. that cheaper headsets I've had are prone to.

Since I got the headset, my game time has essentially doubled across the board because it really does make online gaming that much more fun. Before, I had 150 hours on Overwatch since I got it last Christmas.

Now, just in the past 6 weeks I've racked up another 100 hours that I absolutely do not regret.

I do believe it's overpriced, don't get me wrong. The product they give you should not cost much to produce per unit. However, the value you get from them in potential usage far exceeds the price tag.

Also, the quick mute, quick vol, comfort and foldable (?) cups are now features I would never buy a headset without.
“Hard up Jesus”,The blasphemy.

I think you are mistaking the Cloud II's with this one, this one uses regular 3.5mm 4-pole connector, with a splitter included for PC's), they will work on any device that supports the input, without any drivers, from Phones to PC's to game consoles.

A decent price but not worth importing these just to say a few quid, I've never had any issues with my Cloud headset but if they do fail, RMA'ing these will be a pain.

I picked this up for £58.99 a few weeks ago. After using a moderate amount I have just returned to Amazon.

Pros:

1. Good sound for price.
2. Decent looking
3. Long cables
4. Easy to drive

Cons:
1. Metal band on top causes constant bangs and scrapes - this sound travels to the ear cups, this means you have to stay really still to use.
2. Cabling is of low quality, every time it brushes against clothing a scratching sound can be heard in the ear cups.
3. Semi open back but still not overly comfortable on the skin, can cause minor sweating if worn for more than an hour.
4. Had an issue where team mates could hear my game audio over the mic slightly if it was turned up to moderate/high volume.

Overall a lot of headset for the money, the issues with sound transference (both on the cable and the metal top of the set) meant it was a return for me.

Just my experience of course!

Apparently people who purchased them originally were offered a "free" sound dampening kit to fix this and it was added to the pack in later versions but anyone who still has this issue should contact Kingston for their free sound dampening kit.
