fatality k4 that should read (thats what i would get,its a bargain).
The Asrock B450 gaming k4 and m.s.i. tomahawk have good enough vrm's for long term 8 core loading/ o/c'ing, (ideally a 3700x) other than those get an x chipset. (hardware unboxed found most of the other b450 boards not really suitable for 8 cores) bios updated boards will be in stock soon enough, with a 3xxx ready sticker on the box, just for easier ..
Came up as £60 but whos complaining at this price. Any recommendations for a mother for this memory and a Ryzen 7.
No it's evil.
@Tacavas you always get my vote (lol)
I count on your vote ;)
I'm sure it is a good price and I haven't checked but there have been lots of things with 'free components' recently where you'd be better off with the saving instead. I didn't say it was a bad deal just didn't get why they mix high and low end parts.
Also best price for this module, unless I am proven wrong
Because I think most people would want the RAM to be cheaper so they can buy the SSD they actually want...
Back to full price!
who's the OEM?
It won't be true recording studio quality, but it will be very good quality. These are targeted at the 'content creator' community, so yes. Here's a review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTuF6rNG11k
Good price. Would this be good to record vocals when singing?
Excellent price. Missed it unfortunately
Just seen the typo on my end. Can't be bothered editing it so just use your imagination.
But you just said I did? So which is it? Or maybe stop being a knob.
You didn't. You tried to but it didn't quite work out.
What part of my comments do I make myself sound clever? Hmm. (confused)
I have this very keyboard Pros: Quality feel / Mechanical / nice fancy lighting / good for gaming and heavy enough to knock someone out should they try and break into your home. Cons. Not great when typing a word document as you can easily knock a key and you end up with plenty of splelling mistakes (see) / It wouldn't be nice if anybody tried to break into your home!
Haha I look forward to that day my friend
Keep posting though, maybe one day I'll save a ton thanks to you! :)
A little I get defensive sometimes (embarrassed)
Is it so hard to understand and admit that you posted a terrible deal?
Some good deals you've posted to back up your comments!
If anyone's interested, there's Ballistix Tactical BLT4C8G4D30AETA 32 GB Kit (8 GB x 4) (DDR4, 3000 MT/s, PC4-24000, DR x8, DIMM, 288-Pin) Memory for £154 - 'like new' on Amazon warehouse. Hope it helps someone. Could be a swap out so just send back for refund if so. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B01HDUVOD6/
A positive sign of things to come.
Yeah they put the price up. R.I.P
For me it's not even when in the basket, it's £103 listed price.
It's great! I have 8gb 3200mhz of this and it's wonderful. Only problem is I paid £90 for half the amount of this listing so I got mugged off however that was when ram prices were atrociously high
Would this be a good pair for a set of G Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4 RAM16GB (2x 8GB) PC4-25600 DDR4 3200MHz Unbuffered, Non-ECC KitCAS Latency: 16-18-18-38 I previously bought a CL18 pair and returned it on someones recommendation.
I bought this, combined with the ryzen 2700 when it was on offer. Using a Msi b450 carbon ac. Ram heatsink looks better than in the pictures and it works great at 3200 speed using the auto profile.
Anyone got any opinions on this memory? Good/bad?
tell me why you want to add more?
Sorry - this may as well be in another language! Apologies for being a dunce... What do you mean? If I want to add more ram what's the best way forward?
Obviously! (y) ... (annoyed) (Not obvious to me, I'm afraid!)
There is no point unless you are doing video editing or similar. If you add two more sticks of even the same ram you are unlikely to match the timings, no matter what SPD setting you reach. (more than enough is worse).
In most cases it will work fine, however it will obviously run the faster ram at the same speed as the slower ram.
The next big things are USB4 and DDR5.
It will support up to 4000mhz RAM.
We will see what memory Ryzen 3000 will be best at.
Is it going to make everything 20%+ faster? If not then nope..
This is a better deal. 3333MHz/CAS 16 memory, 2 x 8GB pair £89.99 https://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-HX432C16PB3K2-16-Predator-DDR4/dp/B01GCWQBQQ/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8&th=1
You have to go into the BIOS so when booting up keep pressing the delete button.
How do I set it up for 3200. I’ve got same board but it doesn’t change when I check with CPUz in windows
But in the satisfaction that I have the best desktop CPU and X570 Motherboard with no mech. hard drives. Probably have to pre-order these. The main problem I can see is the large varient of Motherboards produced for the 3000 series CPU. This time around I aim to go for a smaller form-factor and as quiet as possible. It would be nice to have an APU for desktop stuff and if I wanted to play a game then the main gfx card could tnen come out of standby (no fan spinning when not in use) and take over.
That's aleast £500 (lol) (horror)
It doesn't. Yep under 100 notes for 32GB in time for Ryzen 3000.
Best ram I've ever bought, it's overclockable to 3600Mhz easily on Ryzen :D
Radiactive Half Life Memory v3
Predator, Ballistix, Vengenge, Dominator, Trident - are they marketing RAM or weapons of mass destruction?
Life expectancy in Russia
Because of the cold?? Surely that would extend the life of the RAM... :D
most likely hynix
Hynix i think cant get THAIPHOON Burner to run on my system, i know everyone is like oh you want Samsung dies but i had a set of g skill trident z 3200 rgb and had nothing but problems with them, they wouldn't even go to 3200 on my rig, these straight in no problem.
Nice (you just wanted to show off your EVGA :p), what modules are in these? Can you check with THAIPHOON Burner?
Voted hot, ram looks great and ryzen compatible :) Would 100% recommend.
Yes i'd rather not have a 'fierce' heat spreader on my ram. Don't want it attacking me when i am trying to coax it into the slot!!
Same price currently on Amazon if you prefer shopping there.
I've never had a delay with any Bluetooth audio peripherals myself, I can notice if with those logitech mx mouses though. Just wondered if this approach could improve sound quality really (y)
Bluetooth isn't really a good option on PC due to the delay that can be 200ms or more. Wireless headsets like these have a much lower delay. Only real option for BT on PC is if the headset and BT dongle both support Aptx-LL, APTX- Low latency, which is around 40ms.
I'd say it is, I'm using an old G930 which is 2.4GHz and prefer it to my bluetooth headphones even though the sound isn't as good (which is down to the headset itself, not the connection technology). You just switch it on and it's connected and working every time within maybe half a second. Bluetooth in my experience often involves faffing, sometimes it takes a while to connect, sometimes you have to go into bluetooth properties and manually force it to connect, sometimes it wants re-pairing etc. irritating. I'd expect this 2.4GHz headset to work more like my G930.
great value i picked them up from amazon last week. And the look great got 2 sets.
Is this the Hynix CJR die?
Good kit for Ryzen, you can tighten up the timings at bit more, much better value than samsung b die ram.
