Not sure on their email if it's not on their website. As I say, I would use the Resolver complaint website (resolver.co.uk, there's been a recent post about it on HUKD) to raise (and if needed escalate) your complaint, as Resolver has their email addresses for initial complaint stage and also for escalation. Good luck.

stehill2822

How would I escalate the complaint? Just say I want to escalate it? Do you know the email for novotech to complain to ?

i ordered from BT also, they didn't send email, but if you go onto your acocunt, and check your orders, it states that it has been cancelled :(

bobo53

anyone ordered from BT?? 4x16gb@ £61 not cancelled yet

ace_rees

It’s like people (customers) forget that people (staff) make mistakes. Should this cost companies money? Staff their job? Or just be cancelled and everyone walks away from the situation no worse than they were before (maybe a reprimand for the staff member to remind them the importance of due diligence and the importance of not upsetting customers).

gingepeedle

when i ordered, it said there were 2 in stock, and mine still got cancelled (annoyed)

infowight

I did the same and was offered the same. The listing is correct, other than the 7.1 bit. The offending part is the last picture which leads you to believe it comes with the extra, I think it's just an upgraded model of the original Cloud as it's branded with PS4 Pro on the box. Still a good price for a very decent headset, but annoying all the same!

jamesrory

Yet they still have that picture up on the item. What is wrong with them? Baffles me how companies so big as Curry's can easily get away with false advertising.

adamwilko007

I don't think the sound quality is that great on these but maybe I am just used to my 3.1 surround sound or I have some settings wrong somewhere will have a play

Poch

I messaged Currys via eBay informing them that the listing was misleading since no hard case or Velour cups were included. They offered me a partial refund of 10%. XD

dudwood_fudwood

Alpha, that was the on I was thinking of. Either way these headsets are unbeatable for the price. I love mine.

trakker1

I’m not sure if the speakers have been upgraded but these are slightly upgraded to the original cloud, having the inline volume on the cable like the also upgraded “Cloud Silver”. You see many people saying the Cloud ones and CloudX’s are discontinued or that they are old because there is also the Cloud II but actually the Cloud II is more a PC version having the 7.1 usb dongle which is no use on console, the CloudX is aimed at the Xbox and the Cloud Silver is a all rounder. The newer headset with new speakers is the Cloud Alpha, that comes with the same as the Cloud Silver, a cloth bag and inline volume but no second set of pads or hard case.

dudwood_fudwood

Don't these have upgraded speakers to the standard HyperX headsets? I use the HyperX Cloud II and they are incredible for the price. Heat added BTW.

trakker1

Yes, rather thick too. I’ve actually bought the “Cloud Silver” last week, these are the newer revision of the standard “Cloud” it has a new inline volume button. From what I can see the only difference with the “CloudX” over the “Cloud Silver” is it includes a hard case instead of a soft pouch and some extra velour pads which are two items I really wanted. Also the “CloudX”is £10 cheaper from what I paid for the Silvers.

Turtle1992

What is the cable like on these? Braided?

How is everyone finding these? thinking of returning them as my mic is picking up audio from either a game or music on both Xbox one and PC but they sound great which is a shame

Dscru

Don't know whether to get these or the Cloud 2 for the XboxOne? Anybody know if one is better than the other for console?

Jhey

Currently got the cloud 2's, loved em but daughter broke them and the mic no longer works, even with a replacement. Trying to decide between these or the revolver s?

Njay

Got these today. They are plenty loud enough on Xbox 1x using 3.5mm jack on the stock controller. Previously using turtle beach xo1's via turtle beach plug in adaptor Two points though. 1) sounded quieter initially with volume dial on full till I realised sound in settings was set to half (these settings are ignored when using turtle beach adaptor above). Plenty loud enough once set to full in settings and then adjusted to comfortable level using in line dial. 2) inline mic switch doesnt work if you forgot you turned mic off in the xb1x settings lol.

lomax

There is a thing called "Push to talk" :). The mic on these or the stinger is not the same quality as the modmic. The zalman mic will match the quality of these for £8 if you only care about gaming it's more than good enough. It has clips to attach along your headphone cable if 2 cable are a concern. You can then pick up something like the aforementioned sennheiser 206 for £23, AKG K92 for £33 or maybe the AKG K240 for £51 or whatever headphones you prefer. Later if you decide to get new headphones you can easily swap over the mic. Some people will prefer having an all in one and that's fine just so long as it's an informed decision. Gaming headphones are just headphones with a mic built in some people don't realise that. If you are the sort that has to worry about your headphones breaking because you wear them while gaming(wtf are you doing that this is a concern? :)) I highly recommend spending more on some beyerdynamic DT 770 when they are on sale they will last you decades.

So these or the HYPERX Cloud Alpha Gaming Headset as both currently £59.99 at Currys? Looked at th cloud 2's but the headphones themselves don't seem any different (same driver) from cloud or cloud x and as these will be mainly used on Xbox one X the usb 7.1 dongle would be wasted on me for £15 extra. The alphas have detachable input cable so seem the better option compared to cloudx as not bothered if Microsoft have approved the headphones lol

Ahmed.Shumayal

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege? I play on both PC and Xbox the same game, so I don't know which one to go for. The Xbox version doesn't come with 7.1?

Been looking for a budget headset for a while, awesome! Can't wait for it to turn up, then I can play pubg in peace :D

Rangnarok

Got one of this from the last Curry's sale a few months back at similar price. The sound is good, cable is solid all though the headphone could feel a bit plasticy flimsy after a while. Just be aware that the mic is just ok. The mic input is very low for some reason for me, even when I've tried all sorts to bump it up. If you bump the input enhancement up, you could record with your normal voice but there would be a lot of background noise.

The people buying the Revolver S are also buying it for the 7.1 Dolby Surround feature because it's the best headset for that. The Cloud 2 is "only" stereo.

RedRain

Nope these are amazing and for the price are a steal

FieryDevilz

I don't think my comment went though? Anyway, I went into discord with my friend and he has told me that the mic is absolutely amazing and that he will be buying the Revolver S after his cloud II gives out. In my opinion this is the most comfortable headset I've ever used, I've had it on for 7 hours and its still not uncomfortable. In terms of sound its the best i've ever heard (even over £300 headsets I've tried at gaming festivals) and a massive improvement over my Sony Gold Headset (£50-£60) which hinges snapped within 3 months and Sony wont even take them back. Anyway, the Revolver S has a setting which can activate surround sound while not amazing it works pretty decently for pin pointing where footsteps are coming from. If you didn't know this before then I doubt you have ever owned the Revolver S(perhaps you've tried the revolver(not S))? Anyway I'm extremely pleased I noticed this deal before buying an Astro headset and for me its the best headset I've used so I won't be complaining.

FriendlyFyre

So is the Revolver? I don't understand the point you are making.. Both headsets can emulate 7.1 surround sound And in both headsets its more of a gimmick than anything

izakamakazi

I had some major problems getting the Mic to work with Windows. Whilst researching some fixes i did find that the cable must be pushed into the headsrt until you can no longer see any grey on the adapter . https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/75rp6i/cloud_alpha_audio_mic_issues_check_the_headset/ Probably won't help you but it's worth a go.

kirby01

Yes these are the new ones with dual chambers to separate the bass. They're meant to sound much better than the cloud 2s and clearer than the revolvers and with the windows virtual surround have the 7.1 too. Hot for me

dudwood_fudwood

I think people think this is the old Cloud 2 which has been on here a lot cheaper. I'm tempted to upgrade from my Cloud 2's to these. I love mine but heard nothing but good reviews on these. Heat from me.

BIGPHIL69

Weird, mine will work fine for hours then start cutting in and out making an awful noise and sometimes causing my controller to stop working for a moment, can go hours without it happening then can happen 5 times in an hour.

Darzen

I only got part of the sounds coming through. Dirt Rally - No co driver sound, no engine sound, I could only hear gravel from the road. Sudden Strike 4 - Couldn't hear any of the orders , other sounds were quiet , even on max. Sniper Elite 4 - Most sounds ok but something wasn't right , explosions were virtually non existent. Forza 5 - No co driver sound, other sounds were ok but a little quiet.

Got this mouse and I don't run it at max DPI cos it is plenty fast enough at the lower settings for PUBG and other games. It's a more basic mouse than say the Corsair RGB crap I tried first. I mean the corsairs might be ok for someone with gorilla sized hands but they gave me hand ache. This one fits my hand nicely.

icecreamwoman

Here he is again, Mr High DPI. Please be reminded this has a 3310 sensor inside, And, if you're willing to educate yourself here is some light reading: https://steelseries.com/blog/the-cpi-lie-18

akramfaisal

Have not really searched, but G402 has 5 additional programmable buttons (except left, right and middle). G203 has only 3. But G203 is newer and has high DPI. I would like more buttons. So I'd still choose G402. But I would say G502 for additional £10 is more worth.

bex85

How about the G203 for £25? Saw the G402 deal but a quick search seems to favour the G203.

0ptixPrime_.

It's not all about DPI, the sensor in this mouse is great for FPS like Cs:go. Not sure about build quality itself but love my FK1 so this should be similar I guess.
