Yes lovely and warm I use them all the time.i use them when relaxing on my sofa, extra warmth in bed, kids den, at the caravan and in my garden for a picnic. I wash them all the time and they come out great. I am wondering weather to buy some more this year

Honestly, the quality is beyond the price my friend. As to your specific requirements the waffle traps your rising warmth in its air pockets; another layer, above or below, will give a true thermos effect. So yes, it's blooming warm.

Hi, can you tell me how warm these are? Adding extra layer onto bed during the colder nights or using while watching TV would be thing for me. Thanks.

Thank you OP. Marvelous item; I now own two.

Order one of these last time they were reduced. They’re great ordered another 2.

this is different to the philips one i saw before with the wireless feature given the short throw this is pretty good most (legit) football streaming sites are 720p anyhow

If you think you can compare the brightness on this LED short throw to any other type of projector, such as the many benq/optoma, then you are mistaken. I have a fantastic JVC lamp projector that is not short throw and gives me a 3m image with throw distance of almost 5m. It has a brightness of 600lumens. Now compare that to this Sony, which projects a maximum of 2m image with throw distance of 0.3m. It has a brigthness of 100lumens. Proportionally, that is a huge number of lumens on the Sony, as the light is not going to fade when it's not projecting over the 5m distance that my JVC projects. Any brighter and it would just bleach out the colour from the picture. In fact, I would say that looking at the specs the far more interesting figure is constrast ratio 1:4000 which tends to suggest that the LED bright white lamp is too bright at 100lumens and it is reducing the vibrancy of the image, but that is something an early adopter would have to accept, but also gives more flexibility of use with ambient light which appears to be part of Sony's pitch as a mobile TV replacement. The picture is certainly no worse than a crappy optoma which will not come in cheaper than the Amazon warehouse prices for this Sony. EDIT: I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason they only made this 720p is because spending extra on the display would have cost a little more but then they would have had to increase the minimum required bandwidth of the wireless link back to the base station interface box, which in turn would increase the chances of a poor customer experience with the wireless link cutting out and buffering due to customers having poor signal strength on their wireless network. i.e. they would have ended up having to charge more for a product that to a lot of dumb users would appear to be a less polished product. It's why apple never use the latest tech available on the iphone

Probably good for mobility on holiday etc.

Looking at the spec 100 lumen brightness. This is a gimmick

Aldi easy home heated throw blanket £34.99 - free delivery

Hi Last year i bought one of these heated throws , they are amazing so warm for the cold months ahead very low wattage so very cheap to run , they saved us a fortune on the electri… Read more

I got one and had to return it. It was "crunchy", it made a horrible crackle sound when you moved it as it had some kind of plastic sheeting inside. It's different from last year when the blanket was soft and flexible. This year they've changed the design so there's a plastic sheet inside the blanket that makes it feel horrible. Did anyone else notice that or was it just the one I bought?

srm87 Went for this instead as it's larger at 200 x 130 there was a code for an additional 5% off that flashes up after about 1 minute. Seems well reviewed on Amazon albeit at a higher price.

Hmmmm, tempted. Can 2 people snuggle up in this?

I have a different make and mine go in the washing machine with no problems

Got one myself. I understood that also (cheeky) sorry that might not have come across! Mine wanders around the house all the time wrapped in a blanket. Wearing shorts. And no jumper. Matter of time before he falls down the stairs from standing on it... But. Teenagers. :D

Yup worked fine

I also bought 8 of the pillows, got them for £25ish, but not too impressed with the quality to be honest. No better than a budget supermarket pillow.

did it work? did they deliver to your work address? Great hack if they did!

I have tried quite a few different feather/down pillows but find these are the best for me, they are £18 each and I have 2..each person has a different preference I guess ;) but they hold their shape through the night, I just plump them up again in the morning! If you have a sparks card they have 20% off bedding at the minute (y) hope this helps, I would highly recommend them

Polycotton :(

hows the quality of these...only 20% cotton 80% polyester doesnt sound great

Not sure where it leaves the bachelors and spinsters either

You'll have the liberals up in arms with this. (shock) What about a LGBT pillow or co-habiting pillow? Bit discriminating. ;)

Questions arise. 1) What the heck is a housewife pillow? 2) Is there such a thing as a househusband pillow? 3) If househusband pillows do indeed exist, how do they differ? 4) If there are housewife (possibly househusband) pillows, are there corresponding "non-house" versions? 5) Would a househusband be allowed to use a housewife pillow? What about the opposite? Same question applies when using the yet unknown to exist, hypothetical non-house versions. 6) Are they actual sequins or a sequin pattern? Can't imagine real sequins on a pillow being particularly comfortable. They would also fall about all over the place. That would annoy me.
