Easy going books to read?

Posted 7th Aug 2023
Has anyone read any good books recently they can recommend which are not too heavy with the content or overly complex plots?

The magic key books are always a good shout. Biff, Chip and Kipper will keep you on your toes.

    Any book by Ben Elton.
Funny, thought provoking and plot twists galore, especially the first 12.

Not so recent but I enjoyed Jasper Fforde's The Eyre Affair and there's a whole series that follows it if it turns out to be your thing...

I'm working my way through "How Westminster works, and why it doesn't" by Ian Dunt. It's not particularly heavy, but it is very interesting
