Footwear help

Posted 18th Jun 2023
Hey all.

Looking for some advice... looking for some everyday footwear but I have problems with my knees and feet (arthritis).

Anyone experienced issues getting a pair of trainers that are a good fit?

Tried Brooks as they were recommended but they were really tight. Tried Relife which I'd had good experiences in the past but the last pair were really uncomfortable and not very flexible.

Been looking at Allbirds and Isobaa... anyone had any experience with these?

Thanks!

These are generally like Marmite, you either love em or hate em, me personally I bought 2 pairs that look a bit like slippers on-line from SKECHERS and I hardly ever wear anything else but them, I bought 2 pairs as my feet sweat a lot and I chose to wear a different pair each second or third day and let the first pair dry out with newspaper in them, just me and my feet not the shoes I assure you. sketchers tend to be good. if you find brooks to be tight then try saucony triumph. they tend to be wide fitting.

my mum was recommended hotter shoes but she never got them so they may be a possibility if you can try them on. (edited)

i have sketchers and allbirds. Both are very comfortable and padded. allbirds have a bit of a mini clearance at the moment as well on certain colours/lines
