Get deal links

Can anyone help me please.

Everytime I click on a get deal link on hukd for ebay or amazon, it takes me to the Web page where I have to log in.

I have the apps for ebay and amazon installed and logged in to my accounts but hukd still sends me to the website.

I am pretty sure the problem is in my phone settings somewhere but I can't for the life of me fix this, any help will be greatly appreciated.

It’s not a problem with your phone! This is the intended behaviour of the app and links shared on here.

Normally links would automatically redirect to the relevant app if you have the app installed but the nature of this site means clicks/users are not trackable if users are directed to the app rather than the browser on your phone and complete a transaction.

Try it out - click on a YouTube link and you’ll get directed to the YouTube app but if you click on a link for an item on eBay/Amazon/ASOS/wherever you will most likely get sent to their site rather than their app.

Same happens for me, so I think it may just be the website default.

happens to me on iPhone..

the App Store game deals just never open, they try and fail

On my Android phone, clicking on a Amazon deal opens Firefox (my default browser) but Firefox immediately asks if I want to stay on the page or open the app. For an eBay deal, I land on the item page but when I try to log into eBay, the app opens.

In the Android Settings menu, under Default Apps, I have enabled the "Open the app" option.

I find it's usually if you have private browsing open. If you change back to normal browsing on your phone, the links should work
