Hope this helps some people.
I bought an ASOS gift voucher a while ago. It never turned up in email (though they kept saying repeatedly that they had sent it.) Additionally it took over a month for them to refund the money.
So fast forward to the first week of Oct 2023. I thought, ok maybe one bad experience and I would give them another chance.
So I bought another ASOS gift voucher online. Nothing remarkable about that.
However it did not arrive on the specified date.
I waited for 48 hours after the requested date and contacted via their chat ASOS chat.
What followed was 30 minutes of " I can't cancel order until it is delivered, please return the parcel ( ...it's an electric gift voucher...which has not been delivered??!! ) , problem with order at our end..and other bamboozling tactics.
Simple solution state "not delivered, and I am refusing delivery!"
The money was returned a few days later.

Thanks for the heads up. I usually buy them from third parties or physical cards, but i didnt experience the same problem.
