YouTube Argentina Increase to ARS 1569/month

"To continue delivering great service and features, we’re increasing your price to ARS 1,569.00 /month."

Was 699. Seemed a big increase last time but not so much now. Inflation is tough in my country.....!

Mine costs roughly £2.25 per month. Ukrainian resident.

I haven't had the notification but I expect it will come.

But then mine just went out today funnily enough for £1.65 so this will be more than double, but it's still far cheaper than paying full price.

We think we've got it bad here in the UK but it's nothing compared to Argentina.

Even though still very cheap from a Western point of view, it is odd that my ARS fee is going from 389 to 869 as that is more than double, don't think I have ever seen a company make a price increase of 100% in one whack.

Yours must be a family package I presume, as mine used to be 389 ARS and I just got an email today saying it is going up double to 869 ARS.

That's right, family one.
Monthly inflation rate here in Argentina is over 12%. This price increase will soon get chipped away like the last one did.

869 still only £2/month. That's less than a 6th of the UK cost (recently increased to £12.99). I'm ok paying that and suspect - given the recent price hikes in most regions - you won't do significantly better via other countries.

I got the same email for price increase from December. Even though it is cheaper than UK I’ve never seen any company increase their prices by this much.
