If the world of smartphones had a heavyweight champion or the top of the class, the iPhone X would be a prime candidate. With a huge screen, advanced video capabilities, a powerful CPU, and an elegant, lightweight design, this is one serious smartphone. It also comes with a serious price tag, but phone buyers can find the latest devices for less by checking out the iPhone X listings at HotUKDeals. Read more

It’s a good argument

I went for the 64gig simply because there is so much online storage now like 'cloud' etc which are all free, you don't need the big memory phones anymore.

Thanks for your help but I purchased the ipad in January and your code is dated in November last year

Got my email confirming the credit back today. Placed my order on Sunday. "Thanks for purchasing the Apple iPhone X, 64Gb - Space Grey that comes with credit back to your account. Just so you know, we will be processing your credit of £120.00 by 09/05/2019. Details will be shown on your statement within the ‘Payments Applied’ section. "

Reaceved notification of ordered dispatched but no credit back email yet?

As per their description, “good” condition phones will show moderate signs of use? their definition of moderate was different to mine! Yes those are scratches and yes it went back, it was a 256gb version so perhaps the 64’s won’t be as moderate? ;)

Great find and price heat added. I have ordered but qucik question could these iphones have had their screen's replaced and they may then be cheaper version screens? and is there away to test the battery please? Regards J

In stock, just ordered thanks!!

Well I read Limetropic’s grade D and it says ‘not working’! XS is no benefit to me, it’s an iPhone X for all intents. XR just seems budget and a regression. So I’d probably settle on an X or XS Max, not sure if it’s too big though.

They certainly ain't cheap mate! But yeah D is a bit of a no no. The XS seems better value, the XR even more so.

Thanks! Grade D (lol) that’s a definite pass! I can live with a Vodafone unit as that’s where I’ll be in a month’s time anyway but O2 is easy to unlock too. I’m wondering if 64GB will rapidly frustrate me - lots of decisions to be made.

Are you going to suggest CeX? I would probably be fine with that, end of the day a phone gets used anyway so few scratches means I don’t need to panic over it myself. Mine was mint but I have micro-scratches on the body from the case. I am thinking maybe I’ll jump to the XS Max for now as they’re reasonably priced.

All these phones come with 12 month warranty, the £60 off is automatically applied to the basket. Not a bad deal for anyone who doesn't mind a refurb. :)

Good price for an iPhone X but I'm still not sure what good condition means and I can't find unboxing videos either, which is weird..

Got mine today and it was by no means in "good" condition. Screen had lots of deep scratches so I'm sending back

Because I’ll know it would be there

I ordered one from music magpie, same price, arrived yesterday. Was very pleased with the condition, had to clean the speakers which where bit dusty but otherwise great. Apple warranty expired but their own warranty isn’t too bad.

Yeah u ld think for the money they charge they will have better quality

No. But they wiped my data and updated it to iOS 12 which I am literally furious about, then the technician lied to me about the diagnostics saying it didn't alert him to the fact that it was on an older iOS or that he stopped my WhatsApp backup halfway through. I don't think I'm going to buy another Apple product again, their quality control is appalling - that's faulty touchscreens on the iPhone X and iPad Pro 11 and jammed butterfly switch keyboards on the MacBook Pro...

Are they going to charge u for that ?

I think it's a nice phone but they should have priced it nearer the SE end of the market. Even Apple semi-admitted their phones are too expensive and it's about time too, I doubt anything is going to change but I won't be an early adopter any more. I'm literally waiting for my iPhone X to be repaired now (finally took it in for the display).

U r spot on The phone naked is not that thick but it has a chunky feel to it and adding the case kills it and it’s quite wide for one hand use

Hmm, I wouldn't say horrible. Still taking decent shots for me. Low light is horrendous though. Front facing camera is literally a potato.

Problem with any condition second hand phones are that the battery will be in some state of degredation, even moreso the older the model is! The £150 pixel may look ok on the outside but may have been ragged stupid inside.

I picked up a black Pixel XL from the eBay auction for ~£70 a few weeks ago. Aside from the general wear & tear, the OS and Cameras are still snappy. The night mode is brilliant. The screen is superb and without any burn in. Plus headphone jack ... hurahhhh. (y) I now shoot my photos in RAW as well since the Google storage is unlimited. I believe it's worth the £150 asking price.

I just received an iPhone X today from music magpie. I paid for a good condition phone. I must say I would be annoyed if I was selling a phone to them and they classed the phone I received as good. Cracking price, £50 auto applies at checkout, available in 2 colours, silver and grey. Both in good condition, but if they're no good, be prepared to send them back.

Fair points, but these are edge cases that aren’t that common. For said cases, Android is the solution but then again, you’ll want to use another device as your main daily driver as you don’t want the old apps, emulator or dodgy software to affect in any way your main device. Would you then trust an android that have ran such software as you know that there are quite a lot of rooting vulnerabilities that could expose it to any Blackdoor?

Weren't referring to devs, try downloading an emulator of a legacy device and running an iso file through said emulator on your iphone. Or downloading an old game that isn't available on the app store anymore.

Wow you must be really dumb, a lot of devs actually choose iOS since it’s easier to develop on, faster, better tools in every way, and there’s not google to sell your data to the highest bidder against your will Yet there’s still this mantra that devs should go to android first no matter how hard to develop, buggy or full or spyware it is (annoyed)

Based on what? Nothing. Again, assuming anything makes you look stupid. I am a sealant specialist. You remind me of Donald Trump. Just says stuff with nothing to back it up.

I was correct in thinking you're on the Apple PR Team

That’s the only downside, EE or Vodafone for me. However tempted still as I’m on a month to month sim only.

Purchased one of these for my wife like new from Argos Ebay for £589. It had 8 charge cycles and 100% battery. She's loving it and I get to now upgrade my 5s with her old iPhone SE, joy lol That and a 4GB sim with EE for £8.99/m sorted. That works out at 33.5/month over 24 months total £808.76, so for a new phone I guess this deal is good. I would rather have EE though, I think.

I think it’s a good price compared to other deals. Some people hate iPhones and expect them to be 2p.

Thanks for this.

Also, they've got the XR 128gb with 25gb of data for the same price I think.

That is true the XR does have the best battery out of them all!

The colour and an angle is different between the 2. I had xs max /x/ xr all the types but i orefer xr:( Its enough size battery is good and not as bad the screen as they say. X not worth the money at the moment. Best value is the XR thats my opinion:)

OLED not good for your eyes? Lol I’ve never heard this, it’s the same as an LED panel except the blacks are true blacks since it just individually turns off the relevant LEDS. If it hurts your eyes then maybe turn the brightness down. The processor on the XR is near identical in speed tests to the X (both are more than fast enough to last years). The lense on the XR is actually slightly better in low light, but not for anything else (video/portraits etc).

Oled is not good for the eyes. On tv is ok but on Phone not good... Xr is better in battery and cpu and camera even not dual!

And £589 for grey, the power of hukd

I have an apple my fiancée has a Samsung neither battery is better than the other both get charged during the day and over night. I love apple stuff but hate there prices and also have nothing against android apart from regularly having to reset everything with it on once a month including the missus Samsung two Nokia somethings the boys have and one tablet. Never really had a problem with with apple stuff they plod along quite nicely though as a company I think they’ve lost direction a bit and with regards to the X I think it’s now at the price it should have started at in the first place. That being said I have had my 6s since the day it was released and it’s still fast as the day I bought it and going strong seems like the last good thing apple made reading today’s reviews.

Good for you. I only carry 1 phone around. Tell the Which people they are wrong. The Note gets 5 stars for battery whilst the XR gets a 3 star battery. Though it has to be said, Which says the battery is the best ever for an iPhone.

I get about 2 hours extra battery on XR over the Note 9. Again showing this not to be true. The XR has the best battery and chip of any phone I’ve used (and I’ve used most of them). You’re actually completely wrong again. iOS is renowned as being very battery and RAM efficient. This is why iPhones with smaller batteries can have similar battery life to android phones with much bigger batteries. Comparing a Note 9 even set to 1080p to my XR and exactly the same usage I get miles more battery life on the XR (this is partly due to screen resolution but also the A12 chip). So why keep making incorrect statements. If an android phone and an iPhone had the same resolution screen and battery size and was set up the same nit brightness the iOS device would last longer. Some of the A’s rages of android also mean much more background tasks (plus google pinging your phone up to 10 times an hour).

IOS is renowned for not really being a multitasking OS and probably why Which marked it as still bad on battery. This X is high end though, the Poco simply blurring the boundaries between mid and high.

This is absolute rubbish! Clearly have no idea what you’re talking about either on battery or camera front! Not only that but watch the Jonathan Morrison video where they do a blind test between the screen on XR and the Popcorn phone. Stop trying to compare a very good budget phone or a higher mid tier phone when you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about on any level!
