If the world of smartphones had a heavyweight champion or the top of the class, the iPhone X would be a prime candidate. With a huge screen, advanced video capabilities, a powerful CPU, and an elegant, lightweight design, this is one serious smartphone. It also comes with a serious price tag, but phone buyers can find the latest devices for less by checking out the iPhone X listings at HotUKDeals.

Good price from a well known online retailer. Use the code. From 10.00

Took a bit of searching but got one for £530 delivered using the PUMPKINS code. Apple warranty until Feb and they're giving me the receipt so I can put it on my Nationwide insurance :) . Really pleased with this 10% code, normally I'm just confused about what to buy and end up getting nothing.

thank you :) bought it - seems I got the last one in "good" condition

These aren't refurbished at all, they are just second hand phones. A factory reset doesn't = refurbished.

Extra fiver for unlocked seems slightly better

Grade good, read the title. :)

placed my order 2 days ago still showing as unfulfilled. they highlight the fact its next day delivery but dont mention as much the fact you could be waiting up to 10 WORKING DAYS for the phone (plus delivery). If i dont receive any confirmations within the next couple of days just going to cancel. seems they may be getting their phones from overseas, using our funds for their purchase, then not sending out to us till much later. As they aren't sure of the condition when they purchase they put down as good to excellent. good business model that has worked for plenty of people. But i didnt realise id have to wait over 2 weeks for a phone, should've just bought from overseas myself instead. So-far 1 guy in this thread seems to have rec'd his phone within 4 days of ordering

I was wondering the same. If you're lucky you might receive a used phone in good condition. But I'm thinking that most of these phones are in-house refurbs using cheap replacement parts. Their website says that water resistance isn't guaranteed with any phone from them.

fHas anyone had any thought to the IP Rating (for water submersion etc) of these refurbished phones. Assuming they have had a repair that has opened the chassis (and lets face it that is any repair) then is the IP Rating pretty much not guaranteed or lost?

NIce one, you obviously got in there before they realised the mistake they made.

Ahh, at the time I ordered there was no mention of not using discount codes. They added it later. I got the voucher and redeemed it (with MightyDeals themselves not a third party).

Good price, cheapest it's been for a company like this iirc. Quidco is available for a fiver.

Now that you've got yourself lips like that bird who got fired off apprentice a week and a half ago, I'm not going near your lips!

Ohhhh it must have been while you were kisssingggg me!

Yes, Gboard made my Sony go from unusable to usable and much more accurate. It's the best keyboard for Android hands down. Samsung aren't as bad as before but it's so annoying to see an octa-core phone lag and frame drop when scrolling for no reason whatsoever. The Sony XZ1 Compact I use doesn't suffer this so I assume it's a Samsung thing.

Have you tried gboard? That's the beauty of android. Don't like it? Change it. Samsung are a lot better these days. I've made my S9 pretty much stock android as most of the OS is now in individual apps (camera, galery, music, keyboard, SMS, contacts, calendar, phone etc etc all can be replaced) I do get where you are coming from. This is why many people hate android and why many people love it...Unfortunately Samsung pretty much runied it over the years.

I did go from Apple iPhone 6 to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge once and hated it. I think this is more Samsung's fault than anything, the S7 had a real bloatware issue and the final straw was the grey-lines AMOLED fault. If I did it again I'd probably go Sony as that's my self-chosen work phone anyway and I really like it, though the iPhone sensitivity seems to be better for whatever reason, typing on the iPhone is faster and more accurate and I can't tell you why.

I tried to cancel the day after this deal was posted, did not feel happy once I read the reviews and tbh I don't trust myself with an expensive phone (my past 4 phones I have broke and needed fixing, so why get an Iphone x?). But anyhow still no money back, I get e-mails back saying 'the gentleman in cancellations was call you' ie I read that as just 1 guy doing the refunds! And why does he need to contact me rather than just processing the refund.

Thank you

Yes. Appears people have had serious problems with getting their money back from this company as well. Wish you best of luck.

Money is taken immediately. Won't get it back until they've processed the request and they're only open Monday to Friday. I'm raising a PayPal 'not received' case if they don't reply by Tuesday.

Heat from me. I paid £900 for a 64GB on release.

It is a deal for few people but, on other side I have to admit, is far too much money. This is reality. I've posted because is the cheapest at the moment. In one year it will be 450£ as iphone 8 less than half price. I'm waiting until it will be 200£ 😃😃😃

Completely agree, if this is the cheapest and someone wants to buy it. In their eyes it's a deal! Thanks Mike2005 for taking the time to post!

I’m going to have a look when on display in stores then decide. If screen ok then I may still get but if not I’ll try get a deal on the X as spec wise it very close to XS just cheaper.

To be fair I was only making a point of what I’ve read. I’ve also read some reviews which say you can hardly notice the difference when the phones are up against each other. I’m actually thinking of getting one (lol) (lol)

Appreciate the link thank you. Not sure it’s as bad as iPhone 4 but a non 1080p screen does seem odd/poor. May have to see for myself but may have to re think now :/

Watched a few reviews on YouTube and read a few articles. I’m sure if you google it your see. I’ll try and find and upload the link.

APPLE IPHONE X (Lots Of Grades And Prices) Good/Excellent @ Envirofone
Found 4th OctFound 4th Oct
Some prices and grades are higher than other prices and grades, but who cares eh, its flipping apple. People will pay anything lol

Yup! Mind you, I hope that was lint urgh

Got my phone today. I can confirm that ‘pristine’ really does mean pristine. The the only slight sign of use was a little bit of lint in the mute switch. But there are no visual blemishes or scratches. Be aware that they ship the phone with no accessories and a generic box.

You say that but the Galaxy S9+ was £900 when it came out this March (only 7 months ago) and can now be had on Envirofone for £539 (128gb version). That’s a drop of 40% for a phone that is only half a year old. Resale values look pretty bleak too. Check eBay

The iPhone X and XS have the telephoto lens which is a significant benefit - portrait mode is superb but just having the better zoom quality is fantastic. For me, that’s the best feature. The OLED display on the iPhone X and XS is very nice too but it depends how much you use your iPhone for viewing photos and videos. The iPhone X has 3D Touch (aka Force Touch) which Apple claimed “changes everything” when it launched. It’s not a massive benefit but a nice bonus. I’d recommend an iPhone X over an iPhone XR for these reasons alone. The improved CPU and graphics performance of the XR over the X is nice but not really very noticeable for most users as the iPhone X (and iOS 12) are already really fast and responsive. Note the XR is quite a lot bigger than an IPhone X too. A lot of people will appreciate that but I’m really happy with the iPhone X size and don’t want anything bigger.

Now comes with Apples excellent "Planned Obselesence" feature as standard!!!

Hey mate, received the plug and the lightening cable nothing else in the way of accessories

I purchased a refurbished 8+ and received it today, box was brand new, not a mark on it. Phone is immaculate not a single mark or fingerprint on it. Plus apple warranty until August 2019 so im very pleased with the product. However i didnt receive headphones, a plug or headphone converter. Did you receive all the accessories?

Good. Thanks

Thanks for your help

Hi guys, purchased one of these the other day and took collection today. For all of those wondering, the iPhone came boxed in the original box although it was a little tatty but nothing too bad. Phone condition was immaculate - not a scratch on it just a few fingerprints. The phone is unlocked as promised. The box contained the original charger and lightening cable as well as the usual apple blurb. I checked the Apple warranty and the phone is still covered with Apple until the end of June 2019 which is a bit of a result. Just an insight into what you can expect if purchasing through this method. Hope it helps

That’s an old myth. It MAY have been true once, but only around the iPhone 4S. I think it was a rumour spread by sales stores to counteract changing provider/selling the phone on. I bought various iPhones outright and they were only ever locked when bought direct from network. :)

Yes, I tried to be brief. I started with my Plusnet sim (EE network) to set up the phone and test it. Then I used a Three sim to activate the Wuntu app and receive a code by text. I’m now using my Plusnet sim again and all is well.

You have inserted a "three" sim. So the first network you connect to may lock to that. Can you try another sim for example EE/Vodafone/o2 and report back?

I ordered the iPhone SE yesterday for £139 with a 12 month O2 sim and they arrived today. I phoned O2 and canceled the sim with no hassle and no payment will be taken. The handset is completely unlocked as I've activated the Wuntu app. Thanks OP

Unfortunately vodafone will require a thirty day cancellation of sim only contract so add another £50 to the se price

can you point me to this deal please, i want

Yes it was 3 weeks old, and someone at work was desperate for money and i offered him 400 and he took it, i was going to use it for a while as i fancied a change from my galaxy s9 but my virgin mobile sim wouldnt work and i didnt like not having a finger print scanner so i just wanted to sell it on. I looked on ebay about 10 days back, it was just a quick browse to get an idea of how much to post it for. I wouldnt have sold it on ebay anyway, the risk is way way way to high, id rather sell it at 100 cheaper and get cash in my hand than lose 600 through ebay to some scammer, unless i did ebay cash on collection only

Would be £26.72 paypal charge plus £78 charge to ebay if you dont have £1 or £3 final value fee offer activated

I think they are 3.4% + 20p for receiving any amount under £1500 p/m

Sim-Free iPhone X 64GB - £899 @ John Lewis & Partners
Found 15th SepFound 15th Sep
John Lewis & Partners has reduced the price of iPhone X now the Xs model is on the way. Includes 2 year guarantee.

It's not the same...it has a LCD screen that's slightly above 720p..which is a BIG difference compared to the X. Other than that, the bezels on the screen are slightly thicker, and it only has 1 camera. If all of those doesn't matter for you, that's great, but for others, it's worth the extra £150.

The new Iphone XR is the same but more powerful, and is only £750. Nobody would be stupid enough to buy this deal, surely.

Like 10 a month. Can turn it off whenever I need and start it back up. I'd photograph the crap out of it and upload as many pictures as possible just incase you need to claim

How much do you pay?

Only for one year. You get two years if you buy from within the EU.

Apple..... international warranty (y)

Yeah makes sense to frame it like that - taxes in this country are outrageous! I still wish I'd picked up an iPhone X for £750 in New Orleans last year... I suppose it's a faff to take it back to the shop if it breaks however!

And uk VAT is 20% so if that was reduced to us tax levels then the price wouldn’t be too far away. If a phone costs £1000 without vat would be aprox £833 then if you added 7% would be around £891. So getting closer.

You sold it to me mate even after I bought it (highfive)

I've had two Huawei mate 10 pro's Cross my path recently, and i can honestly say, they are probably the best quality phones I've used this year. They are gorgeous looking, Huawei are really making some smart looking phones of late, it has an incredible camera, the battery life is phenomenal, and they are just super duper quick. The reason I went with the mix 2s over the huawei was simply, because I love what xiaomi do, but I'd have another mate 10 pro in a heartbeat. You have yourself a massive bargain there. :)

No biggie you got yourself a great deal. I am swapping from s9+ (fancied a change) so note 9 would not be much change anyway. I was looking at iphones x as feel like I want to try that but the ones which were reasonably priced (below 600) seem to have gone almost in an instant after being listed. Pretty happy with mate 10 pro anyway as price seems good, even though I can see a 500 iphone x on fb marketplace nearby so I might end up with one today lol ahhh changing those phones its a pain :D

Sorry I should have told you about it. :(

Pretty decent price. Cheaper if you downgrade the refurb quality to good.

I got a iPhone 6s from them in 'very good' condition. It had a very tiny mark on the back, I'm happy with my purchase. So, disappointment isn't guaranteed.

I’ve sold a few “minters” to them. No idea what condition they list them when selling on but there are good ones out there!

Luck of the draw, first SE I bought that had been ‘fully tested’ the microphone didn’t work, it’s replacement has been fine.

I've bought iphones off MM before. conditions have been what they have described in the advert. I even bought an Iphone SE as B grade and there was not a mark on it ! all phones are still working to this day.

Bought very good iphone 7 from them came with big dent on the side. Go for pristine
