Did you feel so agrieved that you made a formal complaint to management? If the bag was 57cm and there rules state 55cm. You should expect to be challenged. You always make sure the bag will fit. Weight is not much an issue as that can easily be rectified.

But those are optional extras!!! A cinema ticket is £10. You would get angry because they haven't added the £5 popcorn and £5 cola? It's an option. This thread is out of control.

Kindly note, WizzAir will reshedule your flight once you booked eveything lol One of the worst airlines in Europe!

Not sure on rules or anything but I'm just going to post the link (y) It looks fantastic and has really great reviews! Will defo have to drive over there though! Hope this helps!

wow! this is a great deal - going to check it out further thank you for posting

It’s actually earlier than that, but sadly not for UK citizens - there’s a bit of “tit for tat” going on at the moment with regard to visas...

(lol) (lol)

Only 3-page application and far less intrusive questions if applying with a Schengen passport. Otherwise, same requirement for a (fake) « letter of invitation » and not-worth-the-paper-it’s-written-on « health insurance » cover.

great price if one doesn't need a tourist visa (zombie)

Yep, went to this resort a few years back Oct half term and it rained the entire week (annoyed)

We went here 12 years ago, in 2007. Just found the confirmation, and we paid £289 for 7 nights half board way back then. Hotel was fine back then, but obviously will have changed since.

Been to the hotel, fantastic place, just be careful with the indoor pool, we had to pay extra to access it.

Does this include taxes ?? Kindest regards

Cold and rainy in November... (annoyed)

On the Eadsonson

First time I went, ate out a couple of times. I'd say it was about 30% more expensive than London prices. Also grabbed some takeaway pizza for not too bad a price. Second time we were in a campervan so just cooked pastas etc for dinner and made sandwiches for lunch. Again, maybe 30% more expensive. But we were there to see the country as opposed to experience the food/drink.

It was about £30 for a fast food burger, some chips, cup of lamb soup and 2 mcdonalds type cokes at the place opposite the geysir on the golden circle when I went. £80 for a horse meat steak in a restaurant. Pretty much everything needs to be imported, because the place is covered in snow they can't grow anything lol.

I hear scary stories about Iceland being expesnive. How did you find it for eating out etc ?

Im not care what Russians says, this is my experience travelling around the world and my point of view. About idiots: i does not mean you, i talking about who goes into third party countries and stick their nose into it.

Wasn't you the person who discuss here so-called 'idiots'? And who's that idiots, tell me, please? All I can say is you tell the same thing as pro-regime media. Russia has assumed international responsibilities for human rights so don't tell it's only 'internal politician matters'.

On designed area but not offside it, secondly i look many videos also and didn't found any one beaten as media/propaganda says. Yes, some people has been "packed" (not beaten) but believe not just being stood up and doing nothing... You just see final stage but no one showed you previous few minutes. And finally we discus here about ticket costs but not about some idiots who stick their nose into third party internal politician matters. I repeat - you go anywhere and no one will touch you unless you stick your nose where should not do.

Huh, did you say the 'red' line? So that line in russia is really low. Because neither in USA, nor France (even in Britain) protesters will not be beaten if they participated in a peaceful march.

Yes you save your trips for France or Barcelona where beatings & injuries are weekly! (shock)

I went to Santa susanna last year. Beautiful place, clean and lovely hotels you walk into and enjoy their nightly shows if yours are rubbish!

Most companies have awful feedback on the likes of Trust Pilot. People that are happy rarely bother to go and post a review on the likes of Trust Pilot. I've used them for much more expensive holidays and they were very good. They once chased an upgraded transfer diligently despite cryptic responses from the resort (I saw the email trail). And there was nothing in it for them as the cost was paid directly to the resort. Unfortunately no one/company is immune from screw ups. So its always best to book by CC so you have an alternative route of redress if things go wrong.

Lovely resort. Was even nicer years ago before the " all inclusive mob" arrived.

5 days? You have a higher threshold for Tossa's than me (popcorn)

I've stayed in tossa before. It's fairly isolated and self contained. Bear in mind car or bus is the only way to travel out if you are interesting in traveling the coast - the train doesn't quite go as far as tossa. Other resorts further south (i stayed in pineda de mar last year) benefit from a cheap frequent train. Makes it easy to get a day somewhere else for a change. I'd be happy to be there for 5 days. Much longer and i might be going stir crazy.

I'm a travel agent and just checked the hotel costs in our system from multiple bed banks, and these guys are £20 cheaper for the Double room FB. So, although you have to sign up to purchase through them, you will find a saving Heat

I stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago with my partner and loved it! We only had breakfast so I can't comment on the hotel restaurant but it's well situated and Tossa de Mar is a lovely wee place. Busses are regular and allowed us to visit both Girona and Barcelona easily whilst staying here. We went the last week of September/first week of October and the weather was excellent - I'd easily recommend this holiday to anyone!

This was the menu when I was there last Monday. There was an additional cocktail menu too with about 10 cocktails on. Table next to me had soup starter, main burgers, cheeseboard to finish. The guy then went back and ordered the sub, so it is all you can eat. There's a selection of cakes to self serve. Unlimited drinks of all kinds. Only stipulation is that your alcoholic drink must be finished before you order the next. The £22 Groupon deal included a glass of champagne. The £27 entry via clubrooms website doesn't. Champagne is £9 a glass. Lots of free mags and newspapers in there. Plug sockets. Plenty of space. Quiet. Comfy. Open to travellers 3 hours before their flight leaves. Pretty good spend of £40 for the 2 of us.

For people that have never been in an airport lounge, do it - it's a nice experience and adds a bit of luxury to a crappy airport venture.

I used my American express loungerooms pass to reserve a spot, they then emailed me to offer the upgrade to the clubroom for £10 so I went for it.

Did you get a deal for this or book direct? TIA

Any deals for Gatwick lounges? I said I’d book my dad into one in October.

Having been to Split last month (though not this resort) I couldn't recommend it more. Beautiful place with so much to do and something for everyone.

A good idea if you plan to travel around a bit but we hired a car and realised that Uber costs are very low (meaning we could avoid the arguments about whose turn it was to drive...). This is ideal if you're more than an easy walk from beaches/bars/restaurants.

I can't say that was my impression when I was there a few weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic and beautiful country, the people seem really nice, and the food is great but the prices were not far off those in the UK - our currency has plummeted (and it's only getting worse) so any discount is mitigated by that. Turkey is about the only place in "Europe" where this isn't the case.

Unless you go to Dubrovnik which is quite expensive. I just got back from there. Saying that though....its worth it. It's a really beautiful country. Very busy with tourists especially around the old town (with all the GOT enthusiasts) even though schools haven't broken up. It will probably be busier then.

Croatia is really nice but overrun with tourists in the summer for decades. The last few years have got incredibly crowded. You can still find quieter places in the less popular islands, mainland spots.

E-visa for st Petersburg from 1 October, free and easy.

Just answering part of my own questions. It looks like Ferry/Cruise visa rules are different. I am interested if you can stay 72 hours just booking the ferry company shuttle bus tour cheaply though?

How does the "organised excursion" rules work? Can you just book something like the 25 Euro Moby shuttle bus "excursion" and then stay for 72 hours?. If so I assume you can do the same thing for a cruise boat where you just need to have an organised tour to get in visa free?

Hi does anyone know transfer time from airport to this camp? Also prices of transfer? Thanks

Thanks vidoq_fer On my list for summer holidays..

Hi there, Salou is a touristic town by the sea. It has nice and crowded beaches but, if you find well, you can go to more quiet small beaches within the rocks. It also has two acuatic parks (Costa Caribe and Aquopolis), two theme parks (Port Aventura and Ferrari Land (much better than Alton towers - I recommend you the shows too)), plenty of nightlife in a very pleasant temperature. If you go to Cambrils you will see more traditional fishermans´town. If you go to the capital, Tarragona, it is UNESCO protected city due to Roman legacy. Fully recommendable

Eurocamp holidays are fantastic, I haven’t stayed on this site but have done approx 6 other sites in Spain/Italy/Switzerland/Holland and have never found fault with any of them. Re the linen you should be able to hire this at a small additional cost

Cold! I thought would be a flight to Sto-Vo-Kor!

A bit like shopping in Waitrose then!

I think the picture on the thread is of Alesund - a very small and nice part of Norway. Stravanger, at least when I went there, was a lot more industrialised and dull. The worst of the places I visited (whilst on a cruise). As for Pulpit rock, I took a boat cruise up the fjord to the rock and that is not the way to experience the Pulpit, its just an overhanging piece of rock pretty indistinguishable. I am sure hiking up would be much nicer. Good price nonetheless, but Alesund and Flam were much nicer.

Good price for the flights! Very expensive living costs however. My last trip to Norway was in Bergen and you could hardly go to the local shop and get change from £50 from buying a few items
