Yeah it is, not far from the main square at all, and it's near the sea front so nice for a stroll. Get the breakfast if you do go for this hotel.

Ive been to this hotel and the Green Nature next door both are great hotels on that stretch.

Great hope you're having a fabulous time.

should be nice, trioadvisor rewievs are excellent

The hotel may be great, but remember the star rating is not about quality it's about facilities.. You can have an awful quality 5 star hotel.

Gatwick is on the Brighton Line so most ordinary trains continue to other destinations, you can get via Gatwick trains from other London stations too, St Pancras, London Bridge and West Hampstead even, so no need to go to Victoria.

Are take this bus it takes 1 1/2 hrs if no traffic check the link if you want to go this way but prices vary for more passengers and dates.

Train 30 mins uk contactless bank card or oyster card £8.30 or £12 normal fare depending on what time and date for all fares.

So can someone help me out what's the best way? From Gatwick to central London

For my future reference, is the normal to-Brighton train different from a London to Gatwick train? Or is it the same thing/cost?

When you say better then jet2 do you mean the price?

Thompson became TUI, but they've always been the same anyway.

Aren't Tui actually Thompson now? :/

Tui have some great last minute deals if you're prepared to hang on until 1-2 weeks before departure. Far better than Jet 2 or Thompson.

Spent my first holiday abroad here for 2 weeks around 8 years ago, don't remember the pool lookin like that but the inside seems the same. Was a lovely place but it is on the top of a very steep hill (if that bothers you it's only a few euro for a cab from town). Although it's probably not the same now there was a bar/apartments called scala (run by christos and vangelis) down the hill that was fantastic and even let us have a room for free on our last night. Not a short walk to the beach but pleasant, there's also a land train that'll take you there, also its shingle not sand (y)

Thanks a lot, are there any direct flights to North Cyprus?? I assume they would be cheaper.

Kyrenia is the most obvious option to research first, but there are other places to explore, too. Northern Cyprus is currently less over-run with tourists than the South is. It's also cheaper, as they use the Turkish Lira rather than the Euro. It's advisable to fly in to Larnaca and get a Northern Cyprus based firm to taxi you over from LCA to your hotel or car rental office in the North.

Where exactly would you recommend??

How do you get this deal I can’t seam to get it fir less than about £499 per perso

Thanks didn't realise that..Thieves!! Tips from how to overcome this: If you’ve a few minutes to spare when you arrive at the airport, it’s possible to dodge the £2 charge altogether – but only if you’re travelling with someone else. Leave them guarding your big pile of bags by the kerb, then walk into the terminal building towards the check-in desks. There you’ll find a large number of trolleys which have been abandoned by the people who’ve paid for them, used them and ditched them as they head through to security.

trolleys not free at luton not even one pound charge two quid!

There are lugage trolleys and shuttle buses provided (shock)

Only problem is that you have to walk 10-15 minutes carrying your cases should be free nearer terminal

Thanks for posting I actually didn't know otherwise I wouldn't have paid £17 for 17 minutes!

Kids wooden Play Kitchen £9.99 @ Aldi - Luton
Found 16th FebFound 16th Feb
Aldi kids wooden Kitchen. Reduced from £29.99 At Luton Aldi in store not online

Only thing with this is the front door breaks off if the door is pushed back past it’s normal position too far. We have had two doors and the same thing has happened both times. You know how young children can be rougher with toys than they really should be don’t you! Also the corners of the door are quite pointed and not very child friendly. Apart from that it’s a good kitchen play toy. Thanks op.

Got one for our granddaughter last year. Really well thought out and the kids love it.

These have been £15 in my local Aldi for a long time.

Was reduced to 19.99 at my local Aldi on Tuesday

easyBus transfer London to Stansted, Luton & Gatwick Airport from £1.99
Found 7th FebFound 7th Feb
Easy bus transfer London to Stansted, Luton & Gatwick from £1.99 and operated by National Express (on National Express website same transfer is £10)

Fantastic! Cheers OP. £1.99 booked.

To be fair myself and my daughter used this service but operated by National Express in December.I was very hesitant as I'd nothing but bad reviews. But to their credit, on both legs, we were able to catch earlier buses as we were super early and hadno issues at all. You can catch the bus an hour either side of your scheduled time if there is room on the bus/coach. I just wanted to put another view out there as I hadn't read any positives :)

Had the same thing in Paris, never again!

We booked easybus last year. They failed to mention to us (and the 20 other people waiting at Waterloo for a 5am bus) that it wasn't stopping there for 2 weeks (even though the ticket stated the stop). Taxi to the airport wasn't cheap. No contact possible except through post to request a refund. Awful.

Some London drop-offs are served by Airport Bus Express instead. Booked trips directly with National Express for £8 return the other day for Liverpool St- Stansted at the end of April, roughly same times are £14 return with EasyBus. Used to use EasyBus but went off them when it was a pain in the arse trying to find out where the buses left from when they changed from using the Stansted coach park.

:D that's a very mature reply back 'ey mate? Quite clearly you've had nothing to say back anymore. Well done (popcorn)

(flirt) OK OK... BOTH of you are annoying me now! As Lord high OP and judge I command thee to calm down and get some perspective... 1) its just a game 2) it's just a deal 3) it's no place for hate Enjoy life and be happy. PEACE. (highfive)

A) I'm not your mate so stop calling me that. B) great essay length answer to try and justify your right. C) your still lazy and should get off your a#se and find out where the deal is yourself like I did. D) you are a pompous t#at. E) may be childish but I'm still laughing that I got the deal while you didn't because you just complained about the lack of information of the deal and was too lazy to find out yourself. F) your boring me now so bore off.

You're the one who started the insulting mate, by constantly referencing my lack of ability to do legwork. No one is sitting on their high horse. I gave the deal heat, as I stated on my initial comment. No one is bashing the OP, I was making a suggestion to make this site more effective and clearly I wasn't the only person who agreed with my opinion. I wasn't asking anyone to do anything, rather I was putting up a suggestion on a "potential problem" and followed it up with a few suggestions on maybe how that problem could be solved. The point of the comment was to promote discussion on how we could improve the potential problem. But instead, people like yourself (oh wait, no only you) have gone full blown emotional hate on me, taking my reference at my own laziness out of context, to try and bash me for putting out ideas. The OP in the above comment understands I'm not bashing them, and is clearly explaining that they probably wouldn't bother going with my potential solution - that's completely fair and I agree with the justification, but the point being, that they haven't take it personally have they? They recognise it's not the best solution, doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist, doesn't mean people don't have the right to mention improvements to this site without getting their laziness levels bashed in. And with regards to am I enjoying the game, that's the most Nursery-level argument I've ever heard. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that I couldn't get the deal, because I'm an adult, is horizon on my backlog - yes it most certainly is. Am I bothered I can't play it right now? Nope, cos I've got 7+ other games on my backlog which I already own and need to play. So indeed, my feelings are very much "Meh, I'll catch it next time."

As soon as you insult someone you've lost the argument, I clearly have the skills to understand that no one agrees with you even the op who liked your post doesn't agree with you. So basically it boils down to the fact that you will have to enquire yourself and not just sit there on your high horse waiting for people who lack reading comprehension skills doing all the work for you. Oh by the way I'm really enjoying my copy of horizon zero dawn at £10 from Asda it's great. you finding it?
