Is the the screw on lid is better than stock ones which often ends up leaking due to the bad washer/seal design?

I’m in the market for one of these, so personally think it’s a decent deal with the cups thrown in. Heat added OP

Thanks - Added!

I have one of these and its very good. Recommended.

Ah got you! Thanks ...

Because this is the usual price. Nutri Ninja sell it themselves on Ebay for this price all the time. Best to use some ebay codes when available to get it for a lower price

finally made it into a positive, weird how pretty much the same deal can go hot or cold... just on luck. Night voters seem to be colder than day voters :D

I have the 1000W one and it is very good. Not sure if 700W would be enough to make the smoothie smooth to drink.

I know that's what i was wondering ;( The Curry's one was out of stock pretty quickly too.

Good deal, don't know why its gone cold, the one from curry's went hot the other day for the same price

Very noisy. So much so that I make my smoothies the evening before as I'm concerned about waking my neighbours up in the morning. That's about the only negative point though.

It's noisy but it's really powerful.

I’ve wanted one for a while. How noisy is it? Exciting Friday evening ahead :D

Great bit of kit. Well recommend.

Bought it a month ago at similar price. It's amazing!

Nutri Ninja - Silver compact blender duo BL492 £44.80 @ Tesco York
LocalLocalFound 10th AugFound 10th Aug
Found this in my local in york, I think the RRP is roughly £120. Doesn’t look like it’s store specific from the label.

Is this local? Can’t find stock anywhere. Not surprising at this price.

Im desperate for this how ill get one in london

Mine did for 45

The Ninja's are great products I had the BL682 1500w but it was like a fighter jet going off when using, very loud and to big. The BL490 is a good in between but exspensive and this model the BL492 is still £120 on Nutri Ninja website, so £45 is a bargain and £10-£15 is very good price if you can get it. Now £34 with eBay US 15% code They don't have seem to have the silver just Sage Green

Hi, i haven't posted it as a deal as i didnt want people chasing geese all willy nilly and then getting upset, but Tesco Extra in Hucknall had all the nutri ninja/bullets rtc. As i was weighing them up we scanned this one which said reduced to £89 and it came up as £56. Didnt try the others as that sold it to me. I have a smoothie every morning but that said i am not an expert, i have used a Breville smoothie 2 go for the past 6/7 yrs and was sick of spitting pips as the blades had definitely had enough, the new one is a dream (a noisy one granted) and i actually dont think the Breville ever did them aa smooth even from new. I expect any new one would have been an improvement tbh but I'm very happy with this.

Now cheaper with ebay 10% code :)

It is 100w and has all the auto IQ settings. Depends what you're using it for, I mainly use frozen ingredients so experience with less than 1000w takes too long, leading to them burning out quicker.

Gah I was umming and awwing about the 1500W model yesterday, didn't see this deal. Reviews seem great but TBH what really puts me off about this brand is the 1 year warranty. In the end I went for the Magimix which has a glass jar - but admittedly costs a huge amount more... It has a 2 year warranty with Magimix and 3 years with JL. You can also buy replacement parts for the Magimix, which has to be a good thing. I am just throwing away a 2 year old Aldi power blender which served me well until a rather nasty failure mode completely destroyed it, but fortunately, full refund thank you Aldi.

5 years of daily use of Breville BlendActive and it hasn't missed a beat. In summer it makes 4 milkshakes with frozen fruit every day for the kids when they return from school. I was looking for something with a bigger jug so that I don't have to fill it twice. What size jug/ bottle has this Nutri Ninja got? BlendActive has a 600 ml bottle.

Thank you! I need it to blend y little one dinner, fruits 3tc..he's almost 6 months and we've started diversification. .he's sick of milk:)))

Depends what you want it for I guess. For making dough or using it as a food mixer I think the 1200 is the only option. Also you don't need to hold down the top for it to blend like you do with the 900. You can just lock it in and select a mode. I ordered the 900 because it's ever so slightly smaller and as much as I like the idea of making my own pizza stuff, I think ultimately I'm too lazy all the extra bits would just gather dust. I just want it for the smoothie making. FWIW the 900 is still in stock on their ebay store with a couple of colour options.

Having used the Breville one, I can confirm thst you are wrong. Build quality and wattage are everything when it comes to blenders.

They said will restock today..this was friday

Brilliant product but get some ear plugs

missed £89.99 now :/

I already have a Vitamix. But need a dedicated Juicer. Is this worth getting?

Pina colada! It can be too powerful. It melts the ice if you blend for too long!

The version I had came with a 650ml and a 500ml. The 500ml is too small and don't use it much The 650ml cup has got pretty tatty over time. I'll be honest the feature to make a load of cocktails at once swung it (embarrassed)

Just out of interest, how come you need a replacement cup? I was just thinking that it has 1 cup too many, I either use a smaller of the cups or the jug, the other cup sits in my cupboard.

How come it's dropped in price so much on Amazon? Other retailers seem to note £80/£90 as a normal RRP

Man! Missed it again and this has been the best price! Price gone up now. Think it needs to be expired! Unless someone magically tells me I've missed something

Cheers Niobe. I have an older version that has been great. Replacement cups are £20, so I thought for another£50 why not.
