My Cherry Blues lasted about 2 minutes before I was told to just take it home......

It looks odd, but it's actually quite good, the extra depth on the space bar make it easier to press while typing. I've been using one of these at the office for the last year and I really like it (since a mechanical keyboard would be a little anti-social!)

£3.99 RM click and collect

It is cheap but it looks .... I just dont like the look of the corners. WTF is that space bar

just waiting for a good time to open my Wireless Pro's, hoping the missus just assumes they are my old headphones.......

Ace headset, hot! I bought mine for £250 and worth the purchase! Gotta get the settings right I find as the specific game settings make some games odd. Like CSGO I have to use the "default" as the "csgo" setting causes the directions of footsteps incorrectly and costs me ingame! But default is good :)

Pcworld/Curry's had it at this price for a few days now. Mines due to be delivered tomorrow (y)

I just bought this from eBay for 170. Very good price.

These are the 2018 version according to the "ask an owner" section. The Argos deal for £3 more nets you the 2019 edition which is apparently more comfortable and has better sound. (Just taken from a few forum posts I've searched to find the difference)

You can on the Arctis 7

Please excuse my research laziness but on these can the wireless be turned off and then used cabled into a PS4 controller ?

If expect something that costs this amount of money to be amazing. £5 cheaper at Currys Do they really do 7.1 surround on a ps4?

These are great had them about a month.

Every "best gaming headset" list I've looked at has different headsets so it's clearly a very open topic, but these do get very good reviews and are probably the ones I'll be going for

On the app it shows the 2019 box. I've been to two different Argos branches. Both had the legacy model

Does this mean they are the same as Currys 2018 model then?

I just picked up from Argos. I was given the Legacy Edition. The model reference number is 61463 which is legacy. 61505 is the 2019 edition model number

They are 2018 edition apparently which were improved on in quality with this 2019 edition. Just based on some Google searches

bought the rival 310 for £26 in amazon warehouse 20% off, the rival 600 is £37. they are unopened, so worth it over buying new imo

I bit the bullet because my current mouse, a Roccat, is double-clicking and it started on the last day of it's warranty, that swiftly put me off their stuff for good. The Roccat replaced a SteelSeries 100 which is still going strong at work so I'm hoping this is as reliable and as good as the reviews say.

£30 discount, so tempting but still so expensive, especially since its has the same sensor as the rival 310. If only my second razer deathadder is not double clicking

thanks @blazey85 :)

Im not sure but there may be a revised version of these with additional padding, similar the the newer Arctis 3. Does anyone know if Mic Monitoring works with these? As i have just bought a pair of the Arctis 3, Mic Monitoring slider all the way up and nothing (cant hear my own voice)

Very uncomfortable headset, used for maybe 5 months and caused nothing but grief, the earcups are very shallow and soft and your ears hit off the hard plastic drivers. The Microphone called quits after 5 months and caused an annoying crackling to anyone on the receiving end. It's probably the headset. I've bought some Tecknet Headphones for my PC and although the software slider is there for mic monitoring it only allows a pretty pointless 8db. BTW I've also replied to your topic ;)

Can Anyone answer this discussion question? Link below

I originally thought that any Headset connected via 3.5 to the newer style Xbox Once controllers would have this, there is a Slider there, and I have it all the way up, but still can't hear my Voice, does anyone else know what I'm doing wrong?

Both out of stock (annoyed)

Qck XXL ...43% ON*

Nice for pointing it out, apparently its more curved & has DTX v2 ... even tho after a quick search no one can tell the difference or if its on/not (lol) What are the differences between the original Arctis 7 and the 2019 Edition? We listened to customers and made our amazing wireless headset even better. The headband has been redesigned based on the Arctis Pro to provide a more curved look and better fit for all head sizes. Comfort is also enhanced with thicker ear cushions. All Arctis 7s now include DTS Headphone:X v2.0, the latest surround sound technology from DTS.

Hmm not a great saving on the arctis 7, don't know about the rest.

These are for the 2019 improved version. Currys sells only the old version. Key differences here:

I have these. Excellent bit of kit.

Same here...😜

Is that true? Loads of headsets advertise 7.1 surround sound for ps4. One example is Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 Headset for PS4™ & Pro "DTS® Headphone:X® Surround Sound Technology uses 3D audio to create a unique 7.1 channel soundstage around your head to deliver the most engaging gaming audio experience. By putting you right in the center of all the action, you’ll hear sounds in front, behind, beside and above, taking the immersive quality of your favorite game to the next level."

I edited my earlier post because I gave out bad info regarding m.2 and sata. Now edited post in full bleow (just os anyone from the thread will get an update). *old post* If you just want htpc a Ryzen 2200g (£90), b450 motherboard will output 4k 60hz video.Including netflix ultra now You can use an NVME m.2 ssd for boot drive and leave all 6 SATA ports for your use. You only lose SATA ports if you use a SATA m.2 ssd. You can get b450 boards with 6x SATA starting around £75 edit. I'm editing this because the bold part I wrote above is incorrect. On the b350 or b450 chipset if you use the first (top) m.2 slot (M2_1), with any drive, you lose sata 5 and 6 sockets. (not sure if the same goes for 370/470 boards but I think I've potentially hampered people enough already and they should check for themselves). Sorry if I confused/misled anyone with my bad info.

My first build was a 386SX 25 with 2MB of RAM, 500MB HDD and a VGA Card! (256 Colours! @ 640x480!!) MS DOS 6.2 with Windows 3.11..

Just received my Odyssey game code today

Just picked mine up, very happy with this deal. I'm surprised people were saying it wasn't that good a deal... I wasn't even looking to upgrade my PC, but I immediately saw the amazing value in this. The free Assassin's creed Odyssey game is the icing on the cake. Thanks again OP I'm not surprised they ended the deal quite quickly after a few orders.

You're welcome buddy, I'm glad that some of this PC building and troubleshooting knowledge is helping somebody else out 8) I built my first PC from parts back in 2002! It was an AMD XP 2200+ with 512MB RAM, 120GB IDE drive, and a GeForce 4 ti graphics card..

I purchased this mouse a few months ago from Currys after my Corsair M65 broke - I decided to opt for this as I don't game too much but wanted a reasonably cheap wired mouse.... and I kind of wish I didn't. It's not a bad mouse by any means, however one trivial thing that I hate about it is the scroll wheel. It's so damn loud, and occasionally squeaks too (think nails down a chalkboard type horrific noise!) Thinking of replacing this with something a bit more expensive, however for £25 for someone who occasionally games it's an ok deal.

Heat from me I have to rival 100 and its fantastic for the money.

I just recently bought this from Curry's for this same price. A quality feeling mouse and I'm definitely happy with my purchase :)

Or your money back!

That is because you are using Way of the Palm mouse hold. You need Way of the Claw. Not only will it save the logo, make you a better gamer and create world peace but it also looks cooler and the chicks love it. *Only one of the above may actually be true.

I had no such problems when returning Sensei 310. Got website value exchange voucher (more then I paid for) was able to buy Rival 600.

Would really avoid Steelseries if at all possible. The products are decent, but do not under any circumstance try to use their RMA service if your product develops a fault (usually due to some design flaw). They're pretty much a scam company at the RMA stage and beyond - you have to ship your product to them at your own cost to a random warehouse in Denmark before the RMA expires in 1 month, with the idea being that they'll give you a "credit" to use on their website (usually that credit given is less than what it costs to buy a replacement through them). The common action then is for them to not give any updates, wait till the RMA ticket expires, close your ticket, and never communicate with you again. No credit, no repair, no replacement, no response. Nothing you can do because they're outside of the EU. Just google their returns service and see the reviews. I've experienced this, can't believe a relatively well known brand can operate like this, but you live you learn.

I have the previous generation of this and as a glasses wearer its the comfiest headset i've owned. The sound (once you fiddle with the EQ in the SteelSeries software) is sublime. I bought the leather ear cups from the SteelSeries site and it made the headset even better! Highly recommended.

Looks like stock levels have run out and now 1-2days wait time, but still running at deal price for now. Mine just arrived. Happy days! :D

Got it. It's a great headset, super comfortable. Sound quality absolutely fine, think my HyperX was slightly better for music, but I'm not in the least disappointed.

Still available at this price as of 19th October, and voted hot. HOWEVER, note that shipping needs to be added to price.

Saw and was really tempted..ended up going for the hyper x cloud ii instead but would highly recommend these. At this price they are a bargain as well.
